It's been 2 months since the murder of Misty Fey. The world keeps moving despite it all. Phoenix keeps moving too, someone needs to keep the lights on around the Wright & Co. Law Office and he's pretty sure Mia would find a way to channel herself and kill him if he forgot to water Charlie. The cough never quite leaves him and there's a perpetual chill in his bones, but it's nothing he can't work around with some Advil. He takes the defense of Nikolaus Apodeker, expecting a simple, if not easy trial. But when old ghosts rear their ugly heads, the cough worsens and most would say he looks dead on his feet, Franziska, begrudgingly (read: more than happily), calls and asks Maya what to do about Phoenix's worsening health The funniest part? Maya said to ask Edgeworth. Franziska's considering making popcorn. Or purchasing morphine, that might make the headache her foolish brother and his foolish not-boyfriend are giving her tolerable.
