Summary
She didn’t remember the accident, but the same fragments of memories kept assaulting her whenever she closed her eyes to sleep. Every night her thoughts would spin out of control and she kept dreaming about the loud bang produced by her head hitting something solid.
But there were nights in which she had dreams that she didn’t understand, flashes of images that didn’t make sense. She dreamt of the bluest eyes she had ever seen and she woke up crying.
She was too hot; face burning, heart rotting and she didn’t even understand why. Those blue eyes meant a lot to her, so much that only getting a glimpse of them overwhelmed her.
Carmen. CarmenCarmenCarmen. The name was doing cartwheels in her head.
