Izuku can feel his anguished heart twinge as it slows under the pressure of the wooden stake, but it doesn’t stop him from smiling anyway. Katsuki’s hands tremble from where he’s holding the weapon in one hand, from where he’s cradling Izuku’s cheek in the other.
“‘S okay, Kacchan. I never wanted to live like this, anyway,” he replies, soft in the cool dawn.
Katsuki is tasked to end Midoriya Izuku's vampiric life when other hunters discover his existence. Not that Izuku minds; not when it's Katsuki dealing the killing blow.

A heavy sigh falls from King Masaru as he shakes his head. He rubs his forehead and puts his quill down. “Katsuki, son, I can not just get rid of the boy because you do not like him.”
The subject of who they are talking about doesn’t even need to be brought up. Katsuki doesn’t have many people to complain about these days, at least not for him to approach his father about, and his father must have predicted this conflict would come up. Perhaps, he specifically placed Izuku in the library just to get a rise out of Katsuki.
Katsuki stops just a foot from his desk, fists clenched. “Well, why not?”

Basically, Prince Bakugou and Royal Scholar Deku.
Katsuki does not appreciate the new guest (Izuku) his father has invited to stay in the palace and will try everything to make sure Izuku knows how much he hates him. When he goes too far, however, his guilt catches up to him, and he and Izuku spend time together doing the thing they both love: studying.
