Summary
The year is 2259, and Spock is on the Enterprise, serving as lieutenant and science officer to Captain Pike, wrestling with the knowledge that Pike has made some sort of momentous personal sacrifice related to Spock’s future wellbeing.
In another timeline, the year is 2259, and Spock is no longer on the Enterprise. He is grounded, facing reassignment following his Captain’s decision to rescue him from the Nibiruan volcano at the expense of the Prime Directive.

Summary
Jim Kirk is on the way to achieving her lifelong dreams, but even she can’t skip out on her required courses. Intro to Songwriting would be a breeze, if she wasn’t paired up with Spock, a Vulcan that hated her on sight.
Spock is not having a great year. Due to a myriad of circumstances, she is studying abroad on her mother’s home planet of Earth. While her goal is to return to Vulcan, California’s education standards force her into a music elective with particular human that knocks her off kilter.
