    Peter thought he died. He should've. But then again when he wakes up on a cargo ship, alone in a cage- he starts to rethink if actually did die. It soon becomes clear that either way if this was reincarnation, dimension travel or anything else- he was stuck here now. Stuck in this new, strangely bleak city called Gotham.

    He has gone through a lot recently; dying, getting thrown into another universe, being homeless for a bit etc etc. So when he loses his coffee on the sidewalk to a very polite man who just so happens to be a butler, how was Peter supposed to know it would change the entire trajectory of his new life?

    Yet strangely enough, he wouldn't have changed it for anything.
    (I PROMISE, THIS IS NOT DROPPED. Just slow updates currently due to my schedule so I'm calling a hiatus for now.)

    Was there really a need to go back?, Danny asked himself, staring at this new, foreign universe. Here, with no Guys In White or crazed parents chasing him with ecto-guns, and no rampaging ghosts to interrupt his every day or night, maybe he could finally follow the dream he'd given up on when he died, when the stars he'd always loved were once and for all labelled unreachable. Maybe, finally, he could be himself, without all the expectations and fears that came with the name.

    Also, the fact that superheroes were a thing on this earth surely did not discourage his decision.

    Or: Danny gets summoned into a new universe, makes some friends, becomes part of the most powerful vigilante clan ever, punches a bunch of satanists, finds the meaning of family and gets a chance at dreaming big. Definitely not in that order

    After being gravely injured after his fight with Pariah Dark, Danny hangs up the proverbial cap and moves on with his life. Without being a ghost, space was now impossible due to his injury, so Danny puts to use the long hours he was forced to work in his parent's lab to use, gaining an internship at Wayne Industries. All he wants is to put his past behind him and move forward. But old traditions and new threats get in the way.

    And another thing, why did his coworkers think he was about to be adopted? His parents weren't that bad, let alone the fact that he wasn't a minor anymore.
