Shen Qingqiu, his lovely cheeks stained red, carefully takes the mysterious flower from his hands. His eyes sparkle, and Liu Qingge’s breath is punched out of him. Liu Qingge doesn’t know what’s so special about it, but if flowers get that kind of reaction from him, then he would gladly uproot a whole meadow just to see that smile again.
“I accept.”
It’s a flower, and nothing more. But Shen Qingqiu looks at him like he’s brought the greatest gift of all.

”If you were not leaving tomorrow,” Shen Jiu said, gripping his hip and yanking him down to meet his thrusts. “I would use the red jade, split you open until you howled, until you couldn’t close your legs. Until I’d have to call a palanquin to carry you out of the palace, then a carriage to drive you back to the general’s manor. Let the nobles wonder why you came to see me at such a desperate hour, what scheme you’d been swept up in, even as you lay ruined in your bed.”
”I want it,” Liu Qingge said, arm slipping away to reveal his cheeks streaked with tears. “It doesn’t matter. I don’t care. I want you to.”
”I hate when you’re earnest,” Shen Jiu murmured. “It makes me forget…Don’t be so eager. I’ll really do it.”
Liu Qingge reached down and disarmed him, tossed it aside.
Shen Jiu stared at him. Liu Qingge met his gaze, chin up, calm. “Give it to me.”

The air conditioned chill of Wei Ying's office gave way to a wall of humid heat as soon as they left the building. The walk to the station was only a few blocks, but the back of Lan Zhan's shirt was damp with sweat by the time she went underground. "So what's the curse, exactly," Wei Ying said as they jammed themselves into a packed subway car. At lunchtime on a weekday during summer break.
Lan Zhan steadied herself against the car door. "I believe it's bad luck."
"Holy shit," Wei Ying said. "Did she curse you to step on a Lego?"

Voiceteam 2025 presents their second attempt at the "It's a Trap!" challenge--by combining it with 19 other challenges, but the important thing was to get contributions from at least 90% of this round's Voiceteam players not on points break. 123 contributors later, we were victorious!! Summary
