Summary
It's an inside joke at first; Dundee goes around calling Barry his husband and vice versa, neither of them thought it would actually catch on. Now, most of Los Santos is completely convinced that they are married and even Barry seems to believe that they're actually married. The worst part, is Dundee even catches himself slipping from time to time whenever he refers to Barry as "husband". It's still just an inside joke... right?

Irwin Dundee has every intention of winning the Los Santos 100 this year. He's been close to doing so in the past before everything went up in flames around him. This time, he is focused and ready for anything or so he thinks. Barry Benson tries Dundee's patience time after time and even though he's a rookie, he plays a serious threat in Dundee's career.

Summary
Hospitals are loud. Not in the loud he’s used to either. In the loud that weighs over hushed whispers. The way nurses and doctors footsteps echo down the halls. The rolling of wheels of a bed being pushed down the hall or a cart with medications. The lights buzzing slightly overhead that no matter how hard he tries to ignore it, it only gets louder. The air conditioner kicks on and off sporadically keeping the room at a reasonable degree.

Once upon a time, mornings like this weren’t possible. Barry would wake up early and practically run out of the house with barely enough time to tie his shoes so he could start the day. Dundee would follow around an hour later, always a bit miffed that they never laid in bed longer than needed. Now, they do. They can lay in bed the entire day and not have to worry about the responsibilities they once had. It’s bittersweet, as things often are whenever one thinks about the past while comparing it to the present.

No, he’s not happy with what he has become. He sometimes wakes up and doesn’t recognize himself when he looks in the mirror and that’s one of the worst feelings in the world. There’s a bite to his words whenever he speaks to people now and it gives them the impression that they need to fuck off. He doesn’t want that; he never wanted to be this type of person. He’s given his all into being a strong leader, but he’s lost himself in the process.
