Summary
This series started out as a one-off thought experiment* inspired by Zhu Yilong's and Wang Yang's onscreen chemistry, and then just kept going. It builds on the relationship between Zhu Yilong and Bai Yu explored in (a quite place), but can be read on its own.

Summary
This series spans about a year, beginning a few weeks into shooting and ending just before the big Guardian promo tour. It can be considered complete, but finds a gentle continuation in the Tactical Advantage series, which is set about two years later and adds Zhu Yilong's The Rebel co-star Wang Yang to the mix.
