Arya’s eyes dropped to his hands, they shivered in his lap, shaking from an invisible cold. He felt a gentle hand rest on his own, pale and calloused at the fingertips.
“You’re going to be just fine, Arya.”
Arya never wanted to keep living, so he did what he had to do to make it stop. But of course, only someone with his shitty luck would end up waking up to a different world.

my favorite fic of all time <3 can't even count how many times I've reread this nd I still somehow forgot to bookmark it.
a lot of ppl say it's long so they won't read it (which is funny bc 50k is less to me considering I mostly read fics averaging 200k words) but god the writing is so fucking gorgeous, it's everything I strive to be as a writer. I don't actually ever write bookmark comments this long but this fic deserves all my words of praise.
I am not kidding when I say this fic is so important to me, something that genuinely gives me comfort when I read it. It makes me forget everything that I want to forget, there's not a day that goes by where I don't feel thankful for this author for writing this. It may seem stupid but this story means everything to me.
