Summary
As the thunderbolts settle down as the New Avengers to live in the old Avengers Compound, they begin to discover more about each other and what is behind the public image of these six individuals. Bucky in particular remains a mystery to most, even the ones who know him the best. It isn't until one day the super soldier admits he was romantically involved with the late Steve Rogers that the rest of the Thunderbolts finally discover his more private side. As the zillion of questions from his new teammates rain down on him, issues with Steve's "dissapearence" in time that he had ignored for the sake of his own heart become more and more apparent, and suddenly his new friends are convincing him that Steve needs saving and that he must go back in time. But going back in time isn't something Bucky can do alone, and the brains behind the initial project are dead. He also has no idea in the vaste landscape of time where his former boyfriend may be stuck, a lifetime of a hundred years is incredibly long, and he isn't even limited to that timeframe. Still Bucky decides to assemble a larger team, one to that he will take back down the line to save Steve, because that's what it means to be with someone till the end of the line.
