Summary
Partially inspired by the song Inside the Cerebrum by Zion XYZ!
Sou Hiyori, aka Midori, has always been fascinated by the human brain, and more importantly, how to break it. He's always taken great joy in tormenting and experimenting on humans, finding whatever ways he can to make his victims suffer. So naturally, when he learns of a girl named Sara Chidouin, who was shown through tests of his to potentially be extremely ruthless and brutal under the right circumstances, his interest is piqued.
However, while the test show a scarily violent and efficient survivor, it also becomes clear to him that he must work to awaken this darkness within her, and slowly peel away the many protective layers of her heart and soul to reveal it. And what better way than a simulation of constant near-death experiences to push her past the limit?
However, when other test subjects are gathered, and many tests run, he realizes someone else shows equal potential, and better yet; is best utilized in tandem with Sara. Awakening both simultaneously is proving to be an issue though, and will take many more runs and preparations to achieve.
One thing is certain; Midori will stop at nothing to bring his goal to life.

Summary
In another universe, one of medieval times with dark eldritch horrors lurking just under the surface, Kris is adopted off the street by the Dreemurr family.
