Rhaenyra Targaryen is born with lavender eyes that speak of wisdom yet to be earned and purpose beyond her years. When others speak of the princess she is described in public as charming, quickly earning herself the nickname The Realm’s Delight but she also unsettles courtiers and tutors alike with her uncanny intelligence and solemn maturity that doesn’t fit her age.
Rhaenyra wonders if Daenys the Dreamer was like her. Maybe there was no prophetic dream. Maybe Daenys remembered a past life that was actually a future one and that was how she knew Valeria was doomed. Just like how Rhaenyra was once Daenerys. She may not understand the gods’ plans for her but one thing is for certain. The fall of House Targaryen began with the extinction of the dragons which came about because of the Dance. She will not allow it to happen again.
