Ethan decides a blizzard is the perfect weather for speeding up a winding mountain. Benji takes him in when the storm gets to be too much.
"He had changed the sheets on his bed to the new ones Luther had gotten him for Christmas - yet to be opened. A beautiful red flannel set. He wondered what Luther would say about the fact that a stranger got to enjoy them before Benji did. Something about how Benji always goes above and beyond for others while ignoring his own comfort, he supposed. But that was clearly not the case! His couch was perfectly adequate, and besides, he wasn’t the one who crashed into a ditch on the side of a mountain."

Summary
Every near death experience requires the IMF agent in question to attend mandatory counselling sessions. Ethan had been successfully avoiding the sessions for years. But after his close call in Kashmir Brandt threatens to send him on assignment to Siberia if he doesn’t go. And, Ethan would go to Siberia if he were the only person to worry about, but Ethan has other people to concern himself with now; Luther, Ilsa, Benji. He can’t leave Benji without the backup that he needs. So he reluctantly agrees to attend counselling.
But Ethan isn’t the only agent who had a near miss in Kashmir.

“Huh,” Ethan says, glancing down at the paper in hand, “why is the IMF relationship counsellor on my list of trauma therapists?”
It’s a rhetorical question, he’s not expecting an answer, but the question seems to warrant a laugh from Benji.
When Ethan glances at Benji in askance, wanting to know what’s so funny that it’s pulled a laugh from a Benji, who’s kept a near permanent stern countenance since they returned from Kashmir, all Benji has to say is…
