Windy turns his back to Magnum, throws an unsubtle wink over his shoulder. “I want to take you and Foot on at the same time. Think the two of you can score?”

Jazz is only a few meters away. The mech's frame is shuddering with the effort to vent, steam rising off of him like the remnants of a spark. But he’s still functioning. Prowl can see the glow of that visor even from where he's crawling; feel the reach of an EM field beckoning him closer across the debris and ice. A single goal, a single mech, and a single thought that takes all of Prowls processes away from him: Jazz. Get to Jazz.
In which Jazz and Prowl are alone on the edge of a universe, humming a tune.

Technically, the iapetus is correct: the planet is uninhabited. But the silo that rises over the plain, a sterile glint of white metal, suggests this was not always the case. On a planet of one there is no need for names or addresses, but remnants of each remain etched into its walls, and under the rotting floor panels evidence of a legacy can still be found, half buried in the loam.
