Summary
“Your patient is healthy. Whatever crazy medical mumbo jumbo you want me to approve, talk to me about it tomorrow.” Cuddy says without even looking at him.

Summary
He’d push and push, waiting to see when Wilson would finally walk away for good- like any sane person would’ve done years ago- but that day never seemed to come. A sigh and a small lecture later, House would be forgiven; forgiven for something he wasn’t even really sorry for. It was as though his brain wouldn’t process guilt regularly, instead only sending him feelings of remorse when he hurt Wilson. He wanted- so very badly, he needed- to tell Wilson that he did care, that he did want to change, but every time he tried, the words got caught in his throat.

Summary
He was drifting, floating without a destination, but it didn't feel peaceful. It felt wrong, like he didn't belong in his own body. It was reminiscent of one of those brains being kept in a glass jar to be studied. Brain matter on display, floating in glycol fluid, free but trapped. He felt untethered.
