Like his mouth wasn’t on San’s throat, crying while he’s stuffed full, his breath a promise San pretended not to hear.
If they pretend hard enough, maybe they can keep fooling themselves that this doesn’t mean anything. That it’s just a good time, a summer fling. That it’s not already too much. They exist in this careful little limbo—too close to be just friends, too tangled to call it casual, and too goddamn scared to say otherwise.
