“Bumble-bee-haired motherfucker," Yahaba grumbled, mainly to himself, but partially to the universe, hoping to expel some of his dismay for it picking such a fuck-up for him to have a crush on. A fuck-up who smiled so sincerely when they pulled off a quick, who somehow managed to make sweat smell attractive.
“Bumb- What?” A voice came from the other side of the room. And, oh, never mind that emotional bullshit, Yahaba actually hated him. He was the biggest asshole ever, and Yahaba was going to kill him. He tried to muster up his best glare as Kyoutani, public enemy number one of his existence, incredulously stared at him, blood pouring out of his nose at an honestly impressive rate. Fuck his stupid stealth skills – how had he not heard the door open? Fuck-up powers, maybe.

Summary
When Izuku comes to, he’s lying in a puddle and missing a shoe. He rubs his head and sits up. He’d been in the middle of stopping an armed bank robbery when one of them had hit him with a beam of light, and now he’s sore and bleary-eyed in a vaguely familiar playground. In civvies, he realises abruptly. His one visible sock has a dog face printed on the toes.
“Good job, dummy,” snorts someone behind him. “Can you go five minutes without almost knocking yourself out?”
Izuku turns. It’s a little blond boy with red eyes and a smirk Izuku definitely remembers. “Kacchan?”
“What, did you hit your head?”
Slowly, Izuku stands. Everything’s big. Frowning, he checks his reflection in the puddle he just fell into. He’s met with big eyes and unruly green hair. “Holy shit,” he says quietly. “I’m tiny.”

Izuku’s shoulders dropped slightly.
“I asked them if someone without a quirk could become a hero.”
Stendhal-san snorted. Izuku’s shoulders nearly covered his ears. He knew, he heard it from All Might already, he didn’t need to have Stendhal-san repeat it, too-
“Obviously,” Stendhal-san said, leaning back on his arms. “Quirks are merely tools; plenty of heroes have perfect quirks and not an ounce of heroism in their blood. You’re already more of a hero than numbers 2 through 10, combined.”
Izuku could feel the tears slipping down his cheeks, sobbing at the words he had been yearning to hear for so long.
“Did they- did they not say that?” Stendhal-san asked, startled by Izuku’s reaction.

Summary
When Lance is ambushed by a Galra fleet, Blue is temporarily put out of action. Lance is trapped in her cockpit, in deep space, with no communication devices. He's freezing, and his oxygen supply is rapidly dwindling. All he has to accompany him in his urgent situation is the click-clika-tick of a faulty light.
To add to his woes, a flash behind him appears to be the Castle of Lions exploding - with all the other paladins, Coran, and Allura all still inside.
The only thing he has left is hope - that he'll be found, that his space family isn't dead, that Blue will somehow recover and carry him to safety. He just has to keep breathing.
