Summary
Going into limbo wasn’t as Harry portrayed it to everyone. He didn’t meet Dumbledore, nor did he meet Death. However, after he got blasted with the killing curse, it was as if he was in this vast plain. The floor underneath him was glass that spanned until it wasn’t visible, nothing was on the floor besides him and instead of the grey sky from the battle was a purple mist that floated around him. Wondering if the afterlife really was this funky, Harry pushed himself to his feet and went to crack his constantly aching back to find that he felt no pain. All the aches he had accumulated over the past had disappeared. Jumping, he found that he felt like he could run a marathon. It was as if he was reborn.

Tom Riddle stopped in the hall way on his way out, offering a polite nod as Dumbledore passed him off to his new head of house.

Summary
There are several things that the dwarves don't know about the hobbit that is traveling with them. Things that Bilbo is glad to let them find out for themselves along the way.
The first is that he's prepared for anything. His mother used to quiz him about what he'd do in any situation - from relatives to trolls - and Bilbo never disappointed her with his answers. Riding a pony all day gives him plenty of time to plan for everything.
The second is that he can throw a stone or any other small object hard enough to embed it several inches into a tree trunk. His accuracy is uncanny even by Shire standards. He's quite proud of it.
The third is that he doesn't actually say so many proverbs when at home but it seems to annoy the dwarves so he spends time thinking up all the ones he's heard before.
And last, hobbits scold like it is no one's business. The Dwarves he's traveling with really have no idea what will happen if they truly piss him off.

Summary
Bilbo Baggins has been a hobbit for many long years and he should very much like to keep it that way, thank you very much.
An old friend drops by Bag End with the offer of an adventure and despite Bilbo's refusal, the idea of only thirteen dwarves and a wizard facing a dragon may just convince him yet. After all, he has experience with the Great Dragons of the North. Once upon a time, he was one.
