Summary
Eddie wasn’t actually aware he could quiet the raging in his own head. He makes his living from always having the right words, from shouting them endlessly until he becomes everything to everyone, from screaming so long and so loud he forgets why he’s screaming and lets himself be carried away by the flood of himself. Every year has been more deafening than the last and now he’s this roar across the world, louder than anything.
But he’s locking eyes with a stranger at some nameless bar in Chicago and for the first time in a long time he can’t remember who he is.
