She can feel the heat of the other girl’s breath trace the contours of her neck. It’s coming in little puffs, short and fast and panicked.
Not that she can blame her, of course. They’re trapped in a secret enemy base in god-knows-where with absolutely no chance of escape. It seems to her that there’s a fairly justifiable reason to be panicking.
