Summary
If there was one thing Chuuya hated more than biology, it was being partnered up in that class. None of his friends were in the same period of biology he had, so whoever he’d be partnered up with would just piss him off. Hopefully, he’d get someone smart, at least. He was horrible in this subject after all.
“Nakahara,” The teacher finally called out Chuuya’s name. “You’ll be with Dazai.”
Chuuya wasn’t smiling before, but if he were, he would be grimacing now. His frown grew even deeper than it was before. He did want to be paired up with someone smart, but not that annoying nerd Osamu Dazai! He could already feel the boy’s eyes on him from across the room where he was sitting. He was no doubt grinning right now.

Summary
Today was supposed to be a celebration.
Dazai and his crew had successfully raided a merchant ship earlier that day and acquired gold, spices, silk, and rum (like a lot of rum). So why not throw a celebration and put the rum to use?
But god, Dazai was pissed right now. He hadn’t even touched his first bottle yet, when he’d usually be gulping down the alcohol any other day. And why was that?
It was because Chuuya was drunk. And he was getting way too close to the other crewmates.

(this fic is based off the game Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask)
Being a professor wasn’t too bad. Usually, at least. Sure, Chuuya would have some annoying students sometimes, but it wasn’t like they were completely incorrigible or anything. A few of his scoldings and reprimands would usually get them back on track.
Though, as an archaeology professor, it wasn’t every day you would receive a note from an old friend of yours, asking for urgent help with no explanation.Now that Chuuya got himself tangled up in this mess, he must find out the truth behind these "dark miracles," all caused by a mysterious masked man.
