It’s all confused in Shouyou’s head. There are a thousand names for what they are to each other. Certainly, there isn’t one perfect noun for all that Kenma is to Shouyou.
It would be easier if they were less. Less grand, less intense, less years, less meaning to each other.
Something in Shouyou disappears when Kenma kisses him. One less name, maybe, for what they are to one another. An impulse at the back of Shouyou’s mind beckons him to check. Burn away one title and see if they change, for better or for worse.

Summary
After years of good behavior, Riz is released from prison. Having no where else to go, he moves in with his self-declared boyfriend, Pina. But Pina seems too happy to have him, as if Riz didn't already eat the first person he loved- Tem. A sort of recovery fic, where Riz has to find out if he can be better than he was, let alone good enough for his new love.

Riz watches Pina jerk him off and wonders if someone had fucked him this morning before he came in to visit. Or maybe last night. He had always wondered, despite what Pina called him, if Pina was actually dating someone else. Someone beautiful like him. Long term, serious—maybe on the cusp of proposal. This thing that they had, whatever it was, could just be how Pina amused himself. A way to cheat without being caught. A toy who couldn't possibly 'know' better.
