Summary
Lan Wangji has been having strange dreams.
Each night he falls asleep, and finds a man waiting for him. The man is wild, loud, and crashes through Lan Wangji’s dreamscape, tearing color through the grayscale of his unconscious mind.
Lan Wangji wonders. He had never supposed he had this person inside him. He wonders what manifested him, what desires he has buried that brought him out.
Then, one night, the man looks at him and says, “It’s no fair that you’re just a dream.”
