Summary
When he steps outside, squinting against the sun just past the horizon, Shanks is already looking up, tilting his hat to shade his eyes. There's a black dot in the paling sky, rapidly growing, and now that Benn's outside he can hear what Shanks meant, too- there's a faint sound that might be shouting and might be laughter.
Benn squints. "That's not a person, is it?"
"Can't be," Shanks says, then pauses. "In the Grand Line, maybe, but that sort of thing doesn't happen in the East Blue."
"Not reassuring, Captain," Benn says dryly.
(Or: Some eleven months into the Red-Hair Pirates' stay on sleepy little nowhere Dawn Island, the sun falls out of the sky.)

"Well call me Noland and lead me to execution," says Shanks, as the figure hits the apex of its bounce and starts to fall back down, so brilliantly white it hurts to look at directly and laughing loud enough to wake the village.
Sentence which will enter my vocabulary oh my god this is hilarious
"Oi, Captain," Benn calls, one hand on the shoulders of whichever of his crewmates are directly next to him just in case they decide to recover their lack of self-preservation. "Would it kill you to tell us what you know, ever?"
Shanks just waves him off, because he's a bastard. Luffy is still laughing to himself in the middle of the street, saying something to nobody in particular about how he could knock over Goa Kingdom too.
"You're fighting me, not causing an international incident," Shanks informs him, sounding very slightly harried. Something about that’s uproariously funny to Luffy too, at least until Shanks makes his point by blasting him with conqueror's haki hard enough to flatten him and half the buildings in town. He bounces back up. So do the buildings.
Benn is absolutely certain that is not how the Gum-Gum Fruit is meant to work. -

Law was certain he'd had Eustass Kid pegged. He was ruthless, fearless, amoral – just a beast trying to devour as much as he could stomach before his end caught up with him, no finesse or thought other than his next meal.
For once, Law was glad to be wrong.

Summary
“Stop that.” Luffy’s frown is almost comical, like he’s offended for Law on behalf of the words Law himself had spoken.
“Stop what, exactly?” Law snaps back. This is what he gets for trying to smooth things over. He should have known better. “Telling the truth? I’m a mess, Straw Hat. Lots of people are. The best I can do is not make it anyone else’s problem. So, you can stop feeling like you need to—"
“Stop talking like Ace!”
After Dressrosa, it turns out Law is not the only person who needs to sort through some things.

Summary
In a final bid to save the world from Kaguya the last remaining shinobi devise a plan, after three years of running they look to the past. Of course with Naruto in charge it never goes how it was supposed to.
Now Shikamaru is twelve years in the past with Kurama living in his head. Deciding to make the best of the situation he tries to do Naruto proud.
Saving as many past enemies and hurt children as he can is his first priority. Second is to get rid of Danzo before the man can hurt anyone else. Third is to simply survive in past.
Everyone else is just very confused by the strange shinobi who turns everything he touches into chaos.
