Summary
Quig saw Pete's eyes wander amongst the crowd, at the countless smiles and cheers and excited little faces of his fans. And when Quig saw his eyes settle on him for a few fleeting moments, giddiness arose in his chest, and it was the same for the other kids around him.
Until he saw Pete's gaze refocus on him, startling him. Quig's smile faltered, and he stole a glance or two at the other children, who didn't seem to notice. Quig, hesitantly, looked back to Pete, his heart skipping a few beats when he saw the twitching of his limbs, the rapid blinking of his eyes. TapL had caught notice of it, and he paused on his guitar to look up at his bandmate, worry beginning to flood through his features.
Quig felt his eyes on him, and dread began to pool in his stomach.
// Quig sneaks into a megaplex just to have a bit of fun. But it doesn't play out the way he likes when he realizes his bypass causes some issues in the programming of one of the animatronics. Even worse when it's during a whole performance.

Summary
Silence filled the room, and Grian didn’t know what to do. Both options weren’t ideal, but then again, his whole situation wasn’t in the slightest. All he intended to do was just trade with a village that just so happened to be near the border between his territory and Pete’s. And now, he was paying the price for it.
Xisuma was right; I never should’ve left.

Summary
In a world where kindness was almost barren, Kayfour knew how lucky they were to be picked up by HBG, to be taken in and accepted as one of their own amidst all of the chaos. But their lifestyle had changed, and the Nature-Born was not one to deny it. And now, they no longer had the time or the luxury to give away the bouquets of flowers that they had the ability to create.
Which is why Kayfour was so surprised to see Pete heading over to them on a particularly busy day in HBG’s premises, a couple of ingots of iron and gold in his grasp.

Summary
But before Calvin could even react, he saw a faint thread connecting the both of them together, and the demon-hybrid lifted his hand up, surprised to see a dark-purple lace around his pinky finger. He looked up to the other Player, seeing that they, also, had a thread around their hand, instead it was a brighter hue of blue, closely resembling the color of their eyes.
He felt a wave of relief wash over him, and his tail flicked as he raised a hand to give a gesture of a thank you. Thank goodness.
