Summary
Minutes or hours later, he leans back on his chair, gaze appraising. It’s not bad, objectively speaking, even if he’s not completely sure what it’s supposed to be. It’s just a rough sketch, but — it’s like Yatora does when it comes to people. When he doesn’t know what someone is thinking, he colors them. He bleeds inside the line.
Art is made by people, for people. It doesn’t all have to be all-encompassing and entirely different to what he’s always known. A language without words is still a language, and language, above all things, is human.
He looks at the lines on paper. At the smearing of graphite on his knuckles. Out the window, the day has long fallen into night.
He colors it in.
Or, Yaguchi Yatora paints the entire world blue. Featuring where the world ends, Van Gogh, and a problem to solve, to the metaphorical tune of 'Bluets' by Maggie Nelson.

One of my absolute favorites. This fic was a comfort in my own life and I love it for that, the prose, how the author took on the characters. Such a nice and lovely reading.
