"So, how long have you two been together?"
Jeongguk freezes, eyes widening. "Who?" he squeaks.
"You and Taehyung?" Seokjin asks, perplexed.
"Nah," Taehyung grins at Seokjin. "Jeonggukkie here would be way too out of my league. We're just bros."
"Bros," Jeongguk parrots. He can see from the corner of his eye how Jimin seems to be holding in his laughter.

Summary
“I know how to rile up a nerd.”
Jeongguk huffs, breath warm against Taehyung’s cheek. Fingers curl around a few strands of his hair, tugging sharply. Jeongguk leans in, his lips teasing the shell of Taehyung’s ear. “Do you also know how to get on your knees for a nerd then?”

Summary
There was something in the water.
Taehyung had seen mermaids depicted in pictures before — beautiful sea nymphs with long, flowing hair, pointed ears and lush lips, with colourful tails and jewellery glittering over their fair skin. He’d seen concepts of nightmarish sirens with green-hued, dappled skin pulled taut over skeletal bodies and distorted faces with jaws that detached to open their great maws for prey. The creature in front of him was neither of those things.
It could almost pass as a human being. It had light, greyish skin with a translucent quality to it, the unnatural smoothness broken by numerous nicks and scars haphazardly littering the creature. Across its broad shoulders and curling around the sides of its bare torso were deeper grey stripes, seeming to exist several layers beneath the skin.
Perhaps it was even pretty if not for the ravenous hunger evident in its black, hooded eyes.
