The Red Lion was more than just a metallic warship. She was passion and fire. She was determined and stubborn. She refused to do so many things and one had to prove themselves to even get her to look at them.
Unlike the rest of the lions, she was very different from her Paladins. Of course, they all shared the same quintessence, so they showed one of those fiery traits that she was made of, but Keith may just be the closest she’s ever had.

The Black Lion knew her siblings first. They were the first bonds that pulsed through her very being. She knew Zarkon second, a constant throbbing bond forged between them as they spent Deca-Phoebs together.
And it stung so deeply when she lost him to himself. It hurt when their shared quintessence started to seep a corrupted purple instead of black. But she could still feel him, he was still a part of her. He was still her Paladin.
It took time, but she learned that sometimes, letting go was the best option. Even when it hurt the most.

Izuku has lived most of his life in silence, with only the cold dreary halls of the monastery, the soft shuffling of the nuns, and the ice-cold shackles on his wrists as company.
He can't remember a time when there wasn't the quiet whispered coming from the chapel. Of when he looked out a window and saw the wide green forests that isolated him from the rest of the world.
And then one day, he is freed from it all.

And sometimes, pasting shattered hopes and broken dreams back together is easier when you can't feel those hurts, or when you are so focused on achieving one thing, you become blind to everything else.

"There are many worlds that live alongside ours," Uranus explained as he watched his spirits go about their daily lives below him.
"When I see someone who is worthy of saving and being immortalized, I take them under my wing. They become a spirit here in this realm where they can be summons to any of those worlds to fight. Only a few of said worlds have actually figured out how to summon my spirits, but my favorite has to be this one. They actually give my spirits a chance to shine."
He pointed to a glowing orb that was etched into a starry backdrop of the distance.
