    After sacrificing Arcadia Bay, Max and Chloe start a new life in New York and try to forget about the horrors they’ve been through, but everything seems to fall apart. They haven’t confessed their love yet: they’re broken, traumatized, and fear of losing each other.
    A longer and darker slow-burn after the storm Pricefield with hurt and comfort, insecurities, an unstable supervillain, lingering trauma, a lot of built-up tension, and internal monologues from both parties during a long journey in which Max and Chloe find a way to love themselves and each other. Gets explicit, weird, and awkward sometimes.

    (CW: I don't use warnings in each chapter but this fic deals with heavy topics such as suicide ideation, death, violence, homophobia and transphobia, mental health issues, and many more.)
