Druig had always been the most human of all the eternals. Sersi was kind, and Ajak was commanding, and Gilgamesh was caring, but Druig felt. As much as he’d loathe to admit it, he felt the most strongly of the eternals – love and fear, righteous and anger and fear. It was a both a gift and a curse.
He found that it also meant that his sex drive was ramped up to 11.
Listen, he tried to reason with himself. No sane person could be expected to be celibate on a ship full of this many hot people.
But that was the problem. He wasn’t a normal, sane person. He was an eternal. As far as he could tell, he wasn’t supposed to feel the way he did. None of the others did. Maybe something in his DNA had gone wrong, making him different from the others.
