Oliver Twist, a burgeoning sorcerer, is at university, away from his adopted family for the first time since he came to live with Mr. Brownlow. He writes letters throughout his time at the school. Not just for his adopted father, but for others as well.

For the first years of my life, in the workhouse, among the thieves that became my family, I could never have believed that I would be at a university, that I would have friends and a family again. Even that I wouldn’t have to worry about where my next meal was coming from. Every day, I am amazed that I should be so fortunate.

A dance to end all dances, hosted in the low-grav center of Luna’s largest colony. An annual event where the whole of the universe got to show off. You had always figured you couldn’t afford the trip to Luna, so you’d never attend. But apparently fate had other plans.
