Buck's real father shows up after the truck bombing. He brings back up in the form of Nathan Stark.
“Excuse me, I was told my son is here? Firefighter Evan Carter-Buckley?” Jack was so stressed, he hadn’t bothered to change out of his uniform.
“Your name?” The receptionist asked not glancing up from the screen.
“Sheriff Jack Carter,” growled Nathan Stark. He had been on edge since S.A.R.A.H. interrupted their dinner to tell them there was breaking news involving the Jack’s oldest. This time it was Nathan’s turn to get a man to his son who maybe dying.
