Summary
In Fontaine, the Silverback Shark is a legendary creature hunted for its exotic and mystical origins. Some believe the flesh can grant immortality. Some believe the otoliths can grant wishes. Even if this legendary creature is the last one left, human greed knows no bounds...but perhaps this time, they've bitten off more than they can chew, and in the aftermath of a hunt, they orchestrated an unholy union...
Indescribable creature of the depths Neuvillette finds a wounded shark, and tends to him...and then more.

Summary
If said heart wasn't currently half eaten and lying limply in the eagle's palm, he might have been feeling it thrum against his not-broken ribcage right this moment. Instead the open shell of his chest is completely stationary as the eagle's arm rises in slow motion, bringing his own eviscerated organ to his lips.
A servant of Celestia is appointed to devour a bound god's heart, and ends up losing his own to said god instead.

French Revolution AU | Written for Wriolette Week 2024 - Day 5: “Historical”
Summer 1793. After escaping prison in a revolt, Wriothesley joins the revolutionary effort; although he’s inspired to liberate others like him, the extent of bloodshed fills him with doubt. Whilst tracking down a group of aristocrats who fled to the countryside, he is rescued by Neuvillette, a rather unconvincing “farmhand” whose drastically opposing views cause the two to clash time and time again, and oddly enough – grow closer in the process. Knowing that his comrades would be more than happy to send a man like Neuvillette to the guillotine, he is soon faced with a question: just how much is he willing to sacrifice for his beliefs?
