Summary
Izzy Hands, a family law solicitor, is running late to an appointment. As he speeds through London on his motorbike, he is hit by a driver and critically injured.
Stede Bonnet is also running late - to his divorce hearing. Nervous and distracted, he's involved in a collision, with a motorcyclist who comes out of it much worse than he does. He feels awful about it, and visits the unconscious biker whilst they both recover in hospital.
Being quite the romance reader, he can't help but wonder whether this event, disastrous as it is, is the meet-cute he's been waiting for...

“Angel, you’re hemorrhaging.” The words come to him through treacle, almost indistinguishable from the pounding in his ears.
A sharp wail cuts through his disoriented haze. Aziraphale’s gaze drifts towards the Moses basket, the motion sending his vision spinning precariously. Gentle fingers on his chin pull his head forwards again.
“You’re bleeding out. Do you understand?”
