For sanfranseptember, week four prompts: Rest/Bath. Aftermath of Akasha dying and Lestat coming back. Yet another Loustat bath hurt/comfort fic.
So much noise and shoving and screaming. Then a blinding pain, so searing he can’t see. Lestat falls to his knees, clutching his head. Is he screaming? It seems a name is on his lips, the only thing to break through this fog. But he can’t follow that thought. He passes out and remembers nothing else.
When he finally surfaces again, he’s floating. Or at least it feels like he’s floating. He’s in water. It feels nice. He isn’t used to his body hurting, but he can feel the tension leaving him as he relaxes into it. A simple mortal pleasure.- Language:
