Summary
Sendaway: a command in competitive obedience trials, directing a dog to a designated area and then to a specific spot within that area. The dog must then lie down and remain in position until called to heel.
Thomas has been assigned one week's vacation by the Holy Father to recover his mind, body and spirit after the trials of the conclave and its aftermath. It's a task that's more difficult than anticipated, but Thomas is determined not to disappoint.

That should’ve been it. They had a lovely day and Stede didn’t think back on the encounter at all. It wasn’t until they were curled up on the couch, watching TV and Ed’s hand started idly playing with his hair.
It was something Ed had done plenty of times before. A habit, even. And it was nice - Stede adored gentle, casual intimacy like that. So why did Ned’s stupid words have to come back to him then.

Being stuck in the dungeon/cave system beneath the city sucked, obviously. Having self proclaimed warriors come down to try and put his head on a pike was more annoying than anything else. Ultimately it was all just so. Fucking. Boring.
Ed couldn't even remember when he'd last seen the world above-ground. Felt a fresh breeze on his face. Warm sun kissing his skin. The memories were hazy and Ed had far surpassed the heart-aching longing stage. Nowadays there was just… nothing. No change to his circumstances or surroundings, no emotion, no nothing.
That all might be about to change when a new visitor stumbles into Ed's prison.
