Summary

She's only got one choice left. She has to become a Wild Witch. Lucky for her, a powerful Wild Witch appears in the Boiling Isles to take her under her wing.
Luz Noceda wished that accidents would stop happening to her, but the universe had yet to listen. Instead, it flung her sixty-something years in the past like it took specific issue with her request. Now she has to handle getting back to her time while mentoring her future mentor, and try not to erase herself by interfering with the past.
It all sounds simple enough.

Summary
Luka’s life is...a little complicated. He lives in Paris, and normally that’s enough to get people to understand the complications. Fortunately, unfortunately, the list goes on from there. Paris is only a starting point.
The girl he loves is in love with someone else. It goes on. The girl, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, is in love with Adrien Agreste, an extremely well-known supermodel. He’d known that before, during, and after falling in love with her.
Marinette had another life she had to keep a secret. He respected that up until he hit a breaking point, and even then he hadn’t broken. He’d bent.
She was Ladybug. Complication. Ladybug is loved by her partner, Chat Noir. Complication. Chat Noir is actually Adrien Agreste, the boy Marinette loved. Well, who would have thought? Complication.
Luka genuinely likes his life. It’s just complicated sometimes. Normally he does try to play it cool. A complex piece of music doesn’t get any easier when it’s sped up, so he might as well take it slow and enjoy the tune. A piece of him is a little frayed at the fact that somehow, being a superhero is the least complex part of his life.
He’s part-time. That’s probably part of it.

Adrien is sick, he's dying, he's cursed, but at the very least he's got a good attitude about it.
Mostly. He might be underestimating the amount a supernatural curse wants him to die, but then again the curse might be underestimating him. So, who's the real winner?

"It's not like Master Fu was real strict about following the Guardian rules himself, right? I'm pretty sure he never actually learned a lot of them." Ladybug's lips twitch. "Not that he'd admit it. But he left me in charge, now, and I don't want to do things the same as him just because that's how they're done." She draws herself up, reaching slowly out to rest her hands on his upper arms.
Adrien holds very still against the burning sensation of her hands on him when he'd been braced to find he'd never feel that again, holds still against the burning at the back of his eyes.
"I'm not leaving you out." Ladybug breathes, and at some point he'd begun to unconsciously match his breath to hers. "I'm still learning, but we can learn together. I get the impression from Wayzz that it's been a long time since anyone learned from the kwami directly, so I've been thinking we should start there, but I wanted to talk to you about it."
She pauses, breathes out when he does.
"I'm not- ready, yet, but. But we need to be able to include our own kwami in our discussions, too."
Adrien stops breathing.
