The world is beautiful, Gen thinks to himself. He doesn’t appreciate it often enough. He rarely has the chance to. If Senku brought him up here just to share this sight, Gen owes him a reaction. So, aloud this time, Gen says, “It’s beautiful.”
Senku’s arm falls away from Gen’s waist, but he doesn’t back away. “Right?” he says. He isn’t looking at the view.
Senku's been dropping hints. Gen's a sorry excuse for a mentalist for not picking up on them.

Summary
Gen came back to himself and shook his head. “Sorry I,” he trailed off, a litany of lies dying on his tongue, “I’m not used to it.”
The pause felt heavy between them, but Senku didn’t speak.
“I’m not used to seeing you. . . hurt.” He finished quietly.
Senku stopped idly shoving cloth into the holes in his arm to look at him. Red eyes only ever felt piercing when directed at him.
“Physically anyway.” He tried to joke in lieu of continuing to wade through the real emotion he had just shown. “We both know that mentally you’re not doing well.”
Or in other words: They didn't deal with Senku having literal holes in his arm despite mentioning it again so I took it upon myself. Chaos ensues

“Relax, I’m just here to ask for a… favor,” Hyoga muttered, perceptive as ever. He spat out the last word like it was an insult (to himself or to Senku, Senku wasn’t sure). Strangely enough, Senku swore Hyoga’s voice sounded a little… hoarse? Breathy, maybe? The mask could be causing that, he reminded himself, but still... Senku set his charcoal down and leaned forward, a silent signal for Hyoga to continue. Hyoga sighed. “What is the extent of your medical knowledge, Senku-kun?”
