It starts with a legal home invasion, then a blunder of a first meeting with the newest mythological bird mutant, only for the League of Heroes to suddenly commit to taking down two major adversaries that even All Might would hesitate at.
Throw in an obsessed S-class villain, offer a sacrificial hero to him, and everything is (apparently?) primed and ready to overturn the Shie Hassaikai, the Hero Public Safety Commission, and the entirety of Japan.
Dabi wants to make it known that he never agreed to any of this.

As his senses shut down one by one, there’s a passing thought that thank goodness he landed prior to being pulled into this vision; except, the next thought is fuck - of all people?

That’s probably the best Hawks is gonna get with Dabi admitting they’re flirting. So, he grins cheekily. “Tell me it hasn’t put a smile on you every time - like, a legit smile rather than your usual constipated smirks.”
Dabi huffs, averting his eyes. Even past the horrible lighting, Hawks knows he’s sporting a light blush across the healthy expanse of his cheeks. “Because it’s so fucking embarrassing.”
Rain washes away the grime; it cleans cars and pavements and deep layers of dirt and sterilizes people in the same regard. Just like how everybody needs water to survive, the rain gifts a much-needed reprieve for the hero and villain from their violent worlds.
