Summary

Mac still remembered how it had felt to look at Jack's supposedly lifeless body, he had had nightmares about it for weeks, even though Jack had been fine, joking that the next time they would have faked Mac's death instead...
Mac sat up ramrod straight in bed, his breathing quickening and his pulse hammering so hard it hurt. "Oh my god," he said, and then he flung himself out of bed and groped on the floor for his jeans. "Oh my god, Jack, you're a fucking genius."
