“What happened? What do you need?”
Death frowns. “Happened? Nothing has happened.” She pauses. “Well, nothing that I am aware of. Why would you ask that? Do you think something has happened?”
Morpheus mirrors his sister’s puzzled expression. “Why else would you seek me out in my realm without warning?”
“I am not here for you, brother.”
“Then what are you here fo…” His voice trails off. Death gives him a small smile she hopes provides some comfort.

Death comes to collect a soul in The Dreaming. Morpheus does not want to let the soul go.
