It's one final selfish act Glinda allows herself as dawn draws itself closer. A brushing of her lips against Elphaba’s, another request, “Imagine if you stayed.”
Glinda knows in an instant Elphaba’s answer, for Elphaba laughs, a palpable, hollow sound, “Imagine if you went.”

Summary
Glinda attempts to laugh, and like much of the rest of Glinda, it's a mockery of the song Fiyero once knew. He presses his lips together to not mourn the loss of it, and thinks he'll keep that visage of Glinda – again Galinda – in between his teeth, in the passage of his throat, always willing itself to almost slip through, but never to be shared to anyone beyond himself.

Summary
Soft, soft footsteps made its way from across the room to Galinda’s bed. Galinda turned her head around, if only to gush over her roommate. In the middle of the night, Elphaba had never looked more beautiful. There was simply no use for a candle, as Galinda could perfectly capture Elphaba’s delicacy even in between darkness.
“What do you want?” murmured Elphaba.
Galinda patted the empty space that laid on her lonely bed. “Accompany me, I’m cold.”

“I love you.” Veronica said, she was laughing. “Is it so bad I want to wake up like this forever?”
Duke wondered if it was a slip of the tongue.
