Summary
While enjoying a brief respite from the horrors of their journey, the party decides to take a day to visit a street market! Gale and Floran (tav) share sweet moments and exchange loving gifts before being confronted by a ghost of Floran's past.
~*~*~
Floran stopped pacing to look at their wizard. Their face was wet with tears, their mouth fallen into a deep frown, brows creased in anger. “I am sorry you had to bear witness to that, to her. I was hoping you would never have to meet her. She has always been the greatest deceiver and manipulator in my life. I had wanted to spare you from that.”
Gale stepped forward slowly, wrapping an arm around Floran’s waist and bringing his other hand up to wipe their tears, cupping their cheek when he was done. “My love, there is not a world where I do not stand by you in everything. You never have to apologize to me for facing ghosts of your past. I will brave them any and every day if only it means I remain by your side.”Bookmarked by yellow_craion

Summary
Therin takes a sword for Gale during the fight with Marcus, leaving him grievously injured. Gale panics, for many reasons.
Or,
It takes a near-death experience for Gale to realize the true depth of his feelings.
-------------
Therin awoke slowly, groaning at the ache that permeated to his bones. His last dream still imprinted on his senses—the feeling of rough scratch of a beard against his own cheek, some sweet phrase on the tip of his tongue, though he could not remember what. He blinked his eyes open, adjusting to the dim lighting in the tent, which he quickly realized was Gale’s tent. That explained the profuse amounts of cushioning about him—his collection of blankets and pillows was far sparser than the wizard’s. He found the wizard quickly, sitting at his bedside—he stared out into the distance through the abode’s opening, mind a million miles away.
“Hey,” Therin said weakly, a small smile inevitably gracing his lips as he caught the man’s eye. Gale immediately beamed back at him, indescribable relief washing over him.

Summary
With Myrkul dead, the party has a much needed rest and celebration before their adventures continue. At the Last Light Inn, Gale slips away from the festivities - only to be followed, and subsequently, taken care of as if he is something precious (he is, he just doesn't see it).
Or,
Gale's hair gets some much needed care.
----------------
Therin made a contented noise, blushing in turn. “Tip your head back, love,” he whispered, already using his hands to guide the motion. With the small pitcher, he poured warm water over the wizard’s curls, the surface-level grime loosening, muddying the liquid. A practiced hand guided the water out of his eyes, before rubbing soap onto his scalp. Gale could’ve made a dozen remarks about the scarcity of soap during their party’s adventures—yet when Therin began to gently scrub at his roots, all he could do was moan.
