Summary
The killer Lunatic was dead, Judge Yuri Petrov had gone missing shortly after the end of the X epidemic, and a new vigilante with the same ability as Lunatic had appeared. None of this seemed too connected to an untrained eye, but to Kotetsu T. Kaburagi and Barnaby Brooks Jr, it was impossible to not want to connect the dots. Now, if only they can connect those dots without making his world crumble down again.

Summary
An AU where things go differently starting at about the end of the battle of the Titans. Instead of being pushed to live in hiding on the Fallen Arm, the Machina and the last of the Bionis inhabitants make a treaty after the sealing of Zanza. With access to their city, Egil is given the help he needs (to a degree, at least) and is kept from creating the Faces.
The Monado is unsealed much later in Shulk's life, and as a result, the road to Zanza's defeat is one unexplored in canon, as well as a series of events not fully grounded in what canon gives us.

Summary
Alvis was just a normal researcher at Alcamoth Bay Aquariums, the leading marine conservation and rehabilitation establishment, when a stupidly sunny day and a boat trip into the bay meant as a destress activity led him into learning about a whole new type of life, and perhaps changing a few lives as well.
Or; Alvis is a researcher, Shulk is a merman, and they both agree Alvis needs better co-workers.
