Hello friends!
This isn't an updated chapter, but news about this works' impending deletion.
I am working through what will hopefully be the final edit before beginning to send it out for queries to get it published. In my querie, I've mentioned that it's gotten a few thousand hits to hopefully entice an agent into picking it up. With it being published, it will hopefully be enjoyed by a broader range of readers since it will at that point have names changed and a few updates to the original story. (Not much, just a few chunks here and there to help the narration's flow).
I am extremely grateful to anyone who has liked and commented on this story throughout the years. I wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't for all the interaction I've had. I've always wanted to be a professional writer and this story will hopefully be the jumping point of a career. If I can get this published, I feel I'll have the time to work on other, bigger projects that I have planned.
I will be making announcements on my tumblr (in my bio) as this happens, so if you would like to hopefully one day purchase this updated story for yourself, please check that out. I won't be able to have this free version up when/if it gets published, but I didn't want to give 0 notice to those who have inspired me to continue this journey from the very beginning. I intend to have a thank you in my acknowledgements to everyone who interacted with this (not everyone individually, but I intend to take screen shots for my little hoarder heart for possible future social platform updates). I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you and I sincerely thank you for helping me work towards my dreams.
My working title is The Art of Finding Francis Rose. Obviously this may change with time but I seriously hope not. It's like when someone is pregnant and haven't thought of a name, they keep calling the unborn baby "bug" or "button" and it turns into their first nickname. I can't imagine not calling it TAOFFR. I also have the original pinterest board I may end up linking eventually along with WIPs of ideas for the cover.
I'm so excited for this, I hope you all truly understand how grateful I am. The kudos and comments have brought me to tears in the past and it's about to bring me to tears just thinking of the support of strangers. Y'all really are the best, whether you've been here from chapter 1 or just now finding it.
