Chapter Text

It was rare for Katsuki to wake up before his husband. Although Eijirou slept like a rock, he also kept a strict morning run routine he was ever-faithful to and Katsuki always refused to share.

Normal mornings consisted of Katsuki warm and comfortable, feeling the press of a good morning kiss against his forehead or cheek at the return of a fresh sun-kissed redhead. He would waken to his husbands stupidly romantic rituals and proceed to make breakfast as the other made his fruit shakes.

So it was quite rare for the blonde to open is eyes and still see Eijirou cuddled up against his side, his hair falling across his face and his cheek pressd against Katsuki’s chest.

He snored softly and Katsuki was struck with a familiar feeling of adoration.

Sun bled through the white curtains and fell across two in a warm blanket. Katsuki took a lock of the redheads fringe and tucked it behind his ear, the movement regrettably bringing Eijirou out of his slumber and he began blinking his sleep away.

His drowzy gaze met Katsuki’s own and he smiled. “Morning stranger...”

“Hey,” Katsuki curled the arm Eijirou was laying on to bring him closer and press a kiss to his forehead, he felt the redhead smile against him as he nuzzled closer. Christ, they really were a disgusting couple.

“Why aren’t you out running like a fuckin’ lunatic at five in the morning? Thought you never missed a day.” Katsuki grumbled, he was perfectly warm so if Eijirou thought he was about to get up then he was in for a fight.

“Mm... Decided not to today since we’re meeting the others at Iida’s house this morning. Didn’t want to stink... I’ll just run longer tonight.” Eijirou mumbled into the blondes neck.

Katsuki groaned and fell back against the pillow; he’d forgotten all about that fucking meet-up. “Why the fuck do we have to even go?–– Why so early on a god damn Saturday!?”

“Aw– Come on, babe. They invited us cause we’re friends. Ochako seemed really happy when we said we’d come–“

“–– When you said we’d come. I didn’t agree to!”

“Come on~ She’s your friend too.” Eijirou whined. He began peppering kisses along the collum of Katsukis jaw and –damn it– he will not be swayed!

“I promise it’ll be fun. –And if you don’t enjoy yourself there, then I’ll make sure you enjoy yourself when we come home.” Fuck. Eijirou was practically purring into the blonde’s ear.

“Are you blackmailing me with sex to get me to socialise.” In truth it had been way too long since the two had sex, both working for their own Pro Hero Agency together was proving to be a demanding job and as a result they’d tend to come home too exhausted to do anything more than exchange a few kisses.

“I’m making sure one way or another that my amazing husband enjoys his day off.” Eijirou leaned over the blonde and began to distract him with a slow meeting of lips and managed to slide out the bed, leaving Katsuki colder and wishing curses on his old classmates for this stupid brunch meet-up.

Eijirou was already turning the shower on in the ajoining bathroom and Katuski grumbled as he forced himself up and into the bathroom aswell.

They showered quickly together, Katsuki prepared them eggs and bacon because like hell he was about to talk to people on an empty stomach, and Eijirou chose to tie his hair back.

His roots had begun bleeding through his hair, to match the scar above his eyes he had aquired an array of scars on his arms and a few nicks on his chest. He wore a blindingly red shirt with loose black pants and his golden wedding ring glinted as he finished tying his hair behind his head.

Fuck, Katsuki loved him.

It had been five and a half years since they tied the knot, both now in their mid twenties and Pro Heroes. There were times Katsuki looked back still dumbstruck at how Eijirou didn’t hesitate from agreeing to his proposal and re-affirmed himself as the luckiest fucker on the planet that this beautiful man was his husband.

They weren’t the only heroes in their old class to wind up married but Katuski will always be biased that he came out with the best.

Speaking of which, they’d just arrived at the Iida household and Eijirou gave Katsuki’s hand a quick squeeze and a smile before he rang the doorbell. Almost immediately the door swung open and Tenya Iida greeted them with enthusuiastic handshakes.

“Welcome, Welcome!” Now Katsuki had never claimed to be close to the four-eyed hero but he considered himself pretty fucking good at reading people– Tenya was more excited than usual.

“So good to see you, dude!” Eijirou, ever the people person Katsuki was not, patted Tenya on the shoulder as he lead them down the hallway to the direction of the loud chatter. “–Been too long, these last weeks have been so busy.”

“Indeed they have been.” Tenya nodded, “We’re lucky enough we all manage to organise a day in which everyone else was available.”

“Yeah, a shame to waste a day off.” Katsuki grumbled earning a light shove from the redhead.

They arrived to a large open room with a lot of familiar faces.

“My dude!” Denki cheered, jolting up from his seat to leap into an awaiting hug from Eijirou. “How’ve you been!? It’s been way too long!”

“Haha–! I know right! I’ve been good, how’re you holding up?” The redhead laughed as they seperated.

“Eh, alraight. Been real busy these days so me and Tetsu have barely gotten any time together lately.” The blonde whined, his husband walking into the room from the kitchen with a fruit smoothie in hand and lit up when he saw Eijirou.

“Bro–!”

“–Bro!”

The two hugged and Katsuki felt a tap on his shoulder.

“Pleasantly suprised to see you actually came,” Ochako smiled up at the blonde. She too seemed a little more excited like her husband today. Katsuki raised an eyebrow.

“Wasn’t sure if Eijirou would have to drag you kicking and screaming and we’d have to put up with Cranky Katsuki."

“What d’ya mean, I’m a fuckin’ delight.” He scoffed, the brunette just giggled in response.

Katsuki rolled his eyes, he could now remember why they considered each other friends, besides them having to work together on multiple occations.

Katsuki and Eijirou made their way onto a couch next to the Kaminari couple. Around the room sat other couples and people eaing fruit and brunch food off of palettes laid out on the centre living room table.

Tenya and Ochako must’ve spent all morning making all this.

Katsuki eyed them suspiciously as they talked with others from their couch.

Deku sat next to Shouto, a hand resting on his husband’s knee as they talked with Momo and her wife Jirou sitting across from them. Sero, Mina, Tokoyami, Shouji, Ojiro, the floating cloathes indicating Tooru was present, Tsuyu, and other old classmates mingled with eachother.

Katsuki remained suspicious.

Time began passing and the blonde managed well enough, he talked with Ochako for a bit before being dragged into a story re-telling with Eijirou and Mina.

Thing’s were going pretty well. Until Tenya called for everyones attention.

“Everyone please quieten down! Please give me your attention.” He stood.

“You don’t have to ask like your still our class prez!” Denki laughed leaning against Tetsutetsu.

“Very funny,” Ochako stood and patted Tenya’s shoulder. “But everyone we do actually have an announcement.”

Katsuki sank back against the couch and crossed his arms.

Ochako cleared her throat and gestured a glass of water to the group. “As you all know, we’ve been married for a while now––“

“– Yeah, we were there!” Mina pitched in.

“Yes you all were!” Ochako laughed. “And we’re so happy you all have been there for some of our biggest and happiest moments. So we decided we wanted to get everyone together so we could make the announcement.”

“Well don’t keep us in suspense.” Sero grinned gesturing with his fork still with a pancake piece on it.

“Ok ok, we’ve been holding this in since you all came and we’re so happy to let you know! –“ Katsuki saw Ochako hold Tenya’s hand tightly.

“I’m pregnant!”

Silence.

“... ...I thought you were an Iida now”

“––Jesus Christ Denki not now!” Sero threw a pillow at him as the silence was engulfed by cheers. Katsuki remained frozen. Pregnant.

Ohmygosh– Congratulations!” Deku held Ochako in an exctatic embrace, both of them giggling like fucking mad.

“Yes, congratulations.” Shouto patted Tenyas shoulder. The other women swarmed Ochako, all of them firing question after question in excited glee.

“How far along are you!?”

“–5 weeks!”

“Do you know the gender?”

“Nope! We want it to be a surprise.”

Pregnant.

They were gonna have a kid.

Katsuki knew he should get up and do the appropriate thing and congratulate the couple but for some fucking reason he couldn’t get the whole ‘baby’ thing to register properly.

He’s known these two since UA.

They became Pro’s in the same city.

They got engaged six months before he and Eijirou had.

They got married four months before he had.

And now they were about to have a fucking baby.

Thankfully Eijirou pulled him out of his spiralling thoughts by lifting him by the arm and taking over to the glowing couple. He exchanged hugs with the two because Eijirou is the worlds biggest hugger and started talking excitedly with the two.

“This is amazing––! I’m so happy for you two. When did you decide to have a baby?” Eijirou beamed.

Tenya held her shoulder with the dopiest smile on his face. “Well we had been talking about it for almost a year before deciding we were ready to begin trying for one.”

“That’s great! –Ah! Thank you guys so much for telling us!” He and the others chatted excitidly.

Ochako met Katsuki’s eyes, he must’ve had some stunned expression because she excused them from the group and pulled him outside away from everyone else.

“So... Are you going to congratulate me?” She leant against the balcony and blinked up at him.

Katsuki scoffed. “Think you’ve been congratulated enough. It’ll go to your head and make your face even rounder.”

Ochako laughed and shoved his shoulder. “You’re an ass. It’s not like it’s anything huge– Just carrying another life inside me! No big deal!”

Katsuki leaned against the balcony and looked out over the fresh sky, life bustling in the streets below. He was struck with the thought that the house lacked a large enough yard for a kid. Kids needed big backyards didn’t they?

“Babies are loud, you know.” He muttered, “They’re real noisy fuckers.”

Ochako blinked at him before a wide smile spread on her face. “Yep.”

“And they’re delicate little shits. They’ll climb over all your shit and fall off of everything –You’re going to develope a never ending paranoia that they’re going to get hurt.”

“Yep.”

“Your Pro Hero days are going to be cut shorter ‘cause of them. You’re probably both going to drop in the rankings if you’re not out doing Hero shit.”

“Yep.”

Katsuki grumbled into the hand he was leaning on and threw Ochako a perplexed look. “Then why the fuck do you want one!?”

Ochako looked at her hands holding the railing.

“Because I’m happy.” Katsuki furrowed his brows, “Because I’m so happy. Tenya and I, –I never thought I could be this happy when we graduated! And that feeling I felt just kept growing.”

She brought her hands to her chest. “Sure we’ve had our rough days, our arguements, our hospital trips when we thought we might’ve lost each other for good. But despite those moments has been years of good ones!”

She giggled as she fiddled with her wedding ring. “I thought I was happiest when I graduated. But then Tenya and I started dating and I was on a whole nother cloud of happy! Then we got married and I felt even better knowing we were going to share our lives together. Then! –“

She looked out to the distance with a warm smile “Then when I thought about having a child with him... I can’t describe how it felt. The idea of sharing this life we’ve made together with a baby, to be honest I bursted out crying.” She laughed.

“We’re ready. –And yeah I know a baby will make life more busy, and I know it’ll be a handfull, and I know life wont be the same after.” She turned her smile to Katsuki. “But I know we’re ready to handly that.”

Katsuki thought back on his happiest moments. The day Eijirou had confessed to him and flooded him with relief that his feelings weren’t unrequited. Their first date going rock climbing together and how beautiful Eijirou was when they reached the top. The day they moved into an apartment together. The day’s the spend enjoying eachother’s company just laying at their home.

The day he finally worked up all his fucking nerves and proposed.

The day they got married.

In a way, Katsuki did understand where Ochako was coming from. But one thing stuck with him.

“How’d you know you were ready?”

Ochako took a moment. “Well I knew I kinda always wanted to have a baby eventually. Has that seriously never crossed your mind? Was ‘have a kid’ really never in your plans for the future?”

A lot of things happened that Katsuki never planned for. He never planned on falling in love with Eijirou for one– He really made Katsuki go back and rethink how he wanted his life to go.

Because his idea of ‘Go to UA, and Become the Number One Hero’ was not a future he could think about without the redhead. Fuck he was mushy.

But a baby had never been in his plans. Having a kid was honestly never something that crossed his mind. It use to be just ‘Become the Greatest Hero’, and now it was ‘Become the Greatest Hero with Eijirou’.

He’d never entertained the thought of having a kid.

"...Guess not." He admitted.

"Well, what about Eijirou? He's really good with kids, it wouldn't surprise me if he planned to have one." Ochako raised an eyebrow and Katsuki huffed against his hand. Eijirou was fantastic with kids. Be it rescuing them, taking photo's with them or just seeing one at the store and dedicating his time there to making it smiled. He was fucking great with kids.

But Katsuki had never heard him mention ever wanting one.

He fisted a hand in his hair and pushed off the railing. He really needed to sit and think on this information. It completely made sense for Eijirou to want a kid and Katsuki could definitely guarantee he was a hundred percent ready for one. Fuck what if he did want one? What if he's always wanted to have a kid? Why hasn't he brought this up with Katsuki before? Was it because Katsuki never showed any kind of interest in kids or having any?

Fuck, was Katsuki even remotely ready to have a kid?

Sensing the tension Katsuki had begun to spiral himself into, Ochako pushed away from the railing and nudged his shoulder. "We better get inside."

"Don't fucking tell me what to do." He responded automatically as he beat her to the door and returned to the loudness of everyone in the room cheering at Tenya and Ochako's familial developement.

Eijirou immediately saw the tension Katsuki was carrying and furrowed his brows in concern. Katsuki hurried to sit at his side before the redhead could rise and ask if he was okay. Eijirou put a hand on his thigh in a silent question. "M'fine..." Katsuki muttered.

What sucks was that Eijirou knew him and could tell he wasn't fine, but he didn't pry. He gave a supportive squeeze before moving to hold Katsuki's hand between their pressed thighs. He ran his thumb along a scar on Katsuki's hand to help ease him from what was on his mind. Katsuki watched his thumb as it stroked the worry away.

He thought of how good of a father Eijirou would make. That thought was quickly followed by Katsuki's uneasiness of his own parental abilities. He felt a ball of nerves curl in his stomach.

He had a lot to think about now.

Notes:

So my plan is for this to be a three part story, this first chapter definitely being the smallest because I wasn't sure if anyone would actually read it so I figured I'd just post it like that.
This is my first ever BNHA fic so I'm not really confident in the characterisation but since they're all much older I'm a little more comfortable with them now they've somewhat matured.

Please do leave a comment! I really do depend on them! ❤

Chapter 2: Back and Forth

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Katsuki heard the air splitting screech just a second before an enormous fist came flying at him.

The villain looked like a scarecrow made entirely out of barbed wire with tattered rags for clothing, he swung his springy arm and Katsuki was just quick enough to block the punch with his gauntlet. "-Ye're pretty fast, Hero!-" He taunted as he yanked his arm back, the barbed wire tearing through the flesh of his upper arm.

"-But if ye want to get to those hostages then ye're gonna have ta be faster!" His metal limbs scrapped together.

Katsuki scoffed. "Don't get full of yourself, Fuckface!" He blocked the incoming fist, blasted forward, grabbed the villains face and sparked an explosion. He dodged a frantic punch, grabbed the tattered shirt and flung the villain into the crumbling stone wall of the building.

Katsuki waited a moment to see if the villain would move, no twitches, he then ran from the room in the search for his partner. "-Riot!?"

They'd received an emergency call from a bank that three villains had taken over and we're holding four kids hostage. He and Eijirou were the first responders seeing as how the bank was near their agency. They managed to take down one villain as the other two ran inside the bank where the children were being held. They'd split to take down the two villains and find the kids.

Katsuki heard the rhythmic pounding of punches getting closer as he ran from the room he had followed his opponent into and into the main entrance room where he sees Eijirou in his unbreakable form beating down a villain with green scales, a long tail and the head of a fanged snake.

"I'm fine! The children are in the locked room!" Eijirou yells as he grabs the villains tail, swings the man up and slams him into the ground. Not letting villain regain his ground, Eijirou picks him back up and slams him back into the ground leaving him unconscious in a crater.

Eijirou drops his shoulders and takes a deep breath before allowing his unbreakable form slip away. Katsuki spared him a quick smile before turning to the locked door at the end of the room.

He raised his arm, a throb struck up his limb as he finally took notice of the blood dripping down his arm, and prepared an explosion to blow off the lock. He froze when he registered the whimpering of the children on the other side. Katsuki dropped his hand.

"You break the lock." Katsuki turned and let Eijirou approach. He raised a brow before grabbing the lock and crushing it in his hardened fist.

"Hey kids, it's all okay now." Eijirou spoke soothingly as he slowly opened the door. Sitting under a desk at the far wall sat four cowering children, two boys and two girls looking to be at least four years old huddled together and held each other tightly as the heroes approached slowly.

Katsuki stood near the middle of the room, keeping his eyes on the entrance to make sure no more villains were coming while Eijirou tried earning the kids trust. He couldn't help sneaking back glances to see his husband handling the kids. He approached the desk and knelt down.

"Hi there. It's okay, you're safe now." Eijirou spoke softly, a little boy blinked up at him wiping his tears away. "My name's Red Riot, and that's Ground Zero over there. We're heroes so you don't have to worry anymore."

He managed to coax one child to take his hand and gently helped the kids out. All but one.

"You four are so brave! And so smart! You did the right thing by hiding." Eijirou praised as he knelt to the kids eye levels. One little girl with black hair and blue webbed ears seemed the fastest to cheer up as she wiped her eyes and began smiling.

"I found us the desk to hide under." Her voice was still thick nearly being a mumble as she tried to rub the redness from her eyes.

"And what a great desk you picked! I almost couldn't even see you." Eijirou ruffled her hair and that seemed to brighten her up enough to wrap her arms around his neck in a tight hug.

"Did you beat 'em up?" One of the young boys managed to ask as his sobs began dying down. Katsuki watched as Eijirou lifted a hand to help wipe the boys tears away. Not even five minutes and the kids already trusted him enough to let him help them.

"Yep! We're a super great team. Why don't you tell me your names? I'd love to know the names of there bravest kids I've ever met." Eijirou grinned as the boys and girl began cheering up and not five minutes later he had one girl on his back, the first boy hanging off his arm and the other boy on his hip. Katsuki watched with a warm expression as the kids laughed as Eijirou hoisted them up.

They swung giggling as he turned to Katsuki. "My hand's are a bit full, do you think you can help the last kid? Her name's Haru." Katsuki tensed up.

Shit. Okay, okay he could do this. Katsuki dropped his crossed arms and began approaching the desk. It's just a kid. He could do this.

Katsuki came to the desk and crouched down. Underneath was a sniffling girl with ashy blonde hair that faded into pink tips, she wore blue dungarees and had a headband with yellow horns attached. Looks like she's a Pinky fan.

"...Hey." She flinched and Katsuki cursed under his breath. Okay, just get the kid out.

"Hey. The bad guys are gone now."

She peaked her eyes open and hesitantly looked from Katsuki to Eijirou. "It's okay, I promise he's friendly." Eijirou piqued up as he swung the kids on his arms.

Katsuki held his hand out under the desk. "C'mon, we're gonna get you out."

He waited. Katsuki heard that kids trusted patient people, and scared kids needed soothing voices and reassurance. He may have learned these facts from some reading he'd been doing recently but he wouldn't admit it if he was asked. The pinky kid was hesitant, but after a couple sniffles she slowly took his hand. Katsuki let out a breath he hadn't realised he'd been holding and slowly he picked her up.

He felt unbelievably awkward trying to manoeuvre the crying kid onto his hip. Where was he supposed to hold her? Back? Leg? What was he suppose to do with his other arm!?

He shifted uncomfortably until the kid seemed stable enough and began walking with Eijirou to the front of the building. She seemed just shaken up like the other kids, a couple little scratches from what he could see and tear streaked eyes.

She was looking up at him now. Big pink eyes blinked up at him.

Shit. He was suppose to talk wasn't he. Kids needed reassurance that they were going to be fine.

She blinked.

Katsuki panicked.

He saw a scratch on her arm. Might scar, kids thought scars were cool right? Katsuki used to think they were when he was a kid. He used to think they were like battle medals to show how awesome he was.

She blinked again and Katsuki swallowed the nerves in his throat.

"You got scratched." She blinked and looked down at her arm. "If you're lucky it'll leave a scar. That's if it's deep enough. But given that if it is a deep enough cut then it's gonna take a while to heal over. Since you're a pretty small kid it's probably gonna take a week or two to get better–" Suddenly she started crying again.

Katsuki felt his hair stand up on end as fresh tears rolled down her cheeks and she stared at her scratch. Shit! Wrong shit to say! The kid didn't want scars! He fucked up! Eijirou help!

Luckily like the fucking angel he was, Eijirou slowed and came to his side. Katsuki held the kid out by her armpits and all but dropped her in Eijirou's awaiting arms. The girl hung by his neck on his back and two boys were walking next to him holding onto his pants as he lead the group. Eijirou easily manuvered the girl on his hip and shushed the tears away. He spoke calmly and helped her take deep breaths.

Katsuki hastily sped to the door and called for the officers standing by to come and collect the villains. He spoke with the head officer and answered all his questions as Eijirou came out and helped the kids to their awaiting families who'd been forced out of the building when the villains showed up. He watched as Eijirou let the boys run to their parents, the girl on his back jumped off and gave him a quick hug around his leg before running into her awaiting mothers arms. The pinky girl he held had her face stuffed in his neck, arms tight around his neck as he soothed a hand on her back.

A blonde woman came running and began thanking him profusely as the girl slowly let go, she took one look at her mother before leaping into her arms. Eijirou crouched to the girls eye level, he smiled warmly and managed to get the girl to show a small smile before patting her head with a "Good job," he waved as the mother thanked him again and let him join Katsuki.

It had been a few weeks since Ochako had announced her pregnancy. And Katsuki would be lying if he said their conversation hadn't gotten under his skin. Since that day he really began to contemplate what it would be like to have a kid.

Katsuki has always been a determined fucker. Anything he wanted to learn, he'd read all he could, study his ass off, and give everything he got to master what he wanted to do. But the huge problem with kids is that it didn't matter how much he read up or how much he'd learn about them, because he was shit with dealing with them.

As a Hero, Katsuki specialised in villain fights and emergencies, he'd avoid rescue mission if he could. Mostly because he wasn't what anyone would call a people person. Especially kids.

Sure he got fanmail from kids saying how cool he was. But the second he had to talk to one it would almost always result in them crying.

Luckily he was married to the worlds biggest people person. Eijirou thrived whenever kids were involved. They just fucking loved him. Not that Katsuki could blame them. Eijirou is the most loveable person on the goddamn planet. His ease with talking to people was never something Katsuki envied, he was quite happy not wanting to bother with people, but he couldn't help wishing he could at least put kids at ease like Eijirou could.

Said man was currently stripping off his Hero face guard and setting it on the dining table before stretching his arms above his hear, his back muscles shifting as he stretched. Katsuki watched from their apartment door as Eijirou moved.

"Do you wanna stay in tonight? Maybe take-out?" Eijirou smiled over his shoulder as he began removing his sleeves.

"Mmm..." Katsuki hummed finally following him into their bedroom and took his mask off. They'd showered back at the agency after the hostage rescue, he had helped bandage Katsuki's upper arm and both had filled their reports then patrolled for a few hours before finally heading home.

"Take-out it is!" He smiled as he slipped into a pair of sweat pants and tank top. Katsuki was in the middle of taking his Hero shirt off when Eijirou approached him with a concerned look on his face.

He cupped Katsuki's jaw and traced his thumb along his chin. "Hey, what's wrong? You look lost in thought."

"Mmm... Nothin' wrong." He muttered.

"Hey," He brought Katsuki's eyes to his own. "I'm really proud of you, babe. You did real good today."

"I made a kid cry, Ei. Pretty far from doing good." Katsuki scoffed.

"But you really tried today! You picked her up, you really tried to make her feel better."

"But I didn't! She still ended up bawling–"

"–But you really tried! I'm so proud that instead of just walking her out and not even looking at her, you picked her up and made a real effort to make her feel better. It'll take a lot of interaction to learn how some kids operate and what to say to them. But you're starting to make the effort. And I'm so damn proud of you, Katsuki." Eijirou was pressing kisses along his jaw, his cheek, one on his nose and one on his forehead. Katsuki wrapped his arms around Eijirou's waist and dropped his head on his shoulder.

"I fucking love you."

"I love you too." Eijirou pressed a kiss to the side of his head and Katsuki responded with a kiss to his neck.

"Let me help you feel better if you're still feeling like a little bit of a grump." Katsuki could feel the smile in Eijirou's voice as he smoothed his arms over Katsuki's shoulders and carded a hand through the hair at his scalp. Katsuki couldn't help his smirk as he pressed himself against the redhead and began leaving a trail of kisses up his neck.

They slotted together easily, knowing the others body in great detail, knowing how the other moved, how they kissed, how they liked to be held.

Soon Eijirou was pressed against the wall, Katsuki slid a thigh between his legs and licked a stripe up to his ear. Eijirou let out the most delicious shudder of a breath, Katsuki just had to taste it.  Their lips met and Katsuki slid his hands across his husbands abdomen to really feel the muscles adorning his body. Eijirou's hand tightened in his hair as he tilted their heads to kiss deeper.

He sighed against Katsuki's lips as they parted for a breath. Katsuki gave his ass a squeeze and delighted in the gasp the redhead shuddered out.

Katsuki slid his thigh up and rubbed against the beginnings of a bulge and Eijirou pulled him back in for a kiss.

Katsuki absolutely loved the feeling of Eijirou's hands grabbing him. Be them fisting his hair, pulling him by his arms, holding his face, Katsuki loved the feel of the calloused hands on him. He loved Eijirou needing him so badly he had to grasp at him.

One particularly hard press had Eijirou arching his head back against the wall to let out a moan that had Katsuki realising his own tightening in his pants. He helped himself to the expanse of Eijirou's neck as the other bit his lip.

"Hahh... –Not fair, Katsuki –Ahh... I wanna help you feel –Ah!" Katsuki gave his collar a nice bite before Eijirou pulled him back by his hair. He pressed one long lasting kiss to Katsuki's lips before Katsuki saw him slide down the wall.

He felt goosebumps prickle his skin at the sight of the redhead sliding his hands to the back of his thighs and pressing warm open mouth kisses to Katsuki's abdomen. Katsuki threw his hands against the wall to support himself as Eijirou traced his tongue along the curved of his abs and dipped into his bellybutton. His hands massaging his thighs, sliding along his Hero pants material.

Katsuki kept his eyes open as he watched Eijirou slide his hands to loosen his belt and parted his pants to see his half mast erection pressing against his underwear. Eijirou let out a puff of warm air over him before he opened his mouth and licked a long stripe against the material and Katsuki practically convulsed against the wall. He licked his clothed erection over and over until he was panting hot breaths and the second his underwear was pulled down and Eijirou kissed his tip he almost fell to the floor.

His knees buckled as Eijirou took him in hand and pressed his other hand to his thigh. He licked a stripe from his base to tip before pressing a kiss to a vein on the side. He traced the vein with his tongue before flattening his tongue to lick the shaft. "F-Fuck... You're way too good at this." Katsuki shuddered.

Eijirou spared him a smile, "Well I've had a lot of practice." He whispered against the blondes cock.

That turned him on way more than it probably should have. Soon Katsuki was lost in the sensation of his husband taking him in his mouth and slowly pulling him out. His tongue drew a long line along the bottom of his dick. The only problem was since it'd been a while since they'd fucked, Katsuki's fuse was shorter than usual and he was all but ready to blow his load now had Eijirou not held his cock's base.

Katsuki's hands tried to grab the wall as Eijirou moved his hands to slide back and grip his ass to push him closer.

"–Ah! Shit, Ei..." Katsuki dropped one hand to hold Eijirou's drooping hair. Eijirou took his hand and slid it to the back of his head. 'Please, I want you to use me.' Katsuki took the hint and slowly helped push himself further inside. He felt Eijirou's throat open up the more he pushed in. He let out a stuttered exhale as he was pressed all the way inside.

Eijirou held himself, nose nestled in the blonde's hair and eyes closed. Slowly Katsuki pulled him back and gave him a second before pushing him back. Eijirou moaned low and Katsuki choked.

Soon enough he was thrusting faster, Eijirou had tears pearling in the corner of his eyes and fuck he was beautiful.

Katsuki had enough sense to pull out as he felt his gut tighten and ready to burst. One glance down showed him Eijirou with his mouth wide open, tongue lolled out and eyes looking up at him with such love -fuck!

His heat uncoiled and he came in thick ropes across Eijirou's face. Most landing on his tongue, one striped across his eye and a bit dribbled across his cheek. He looked fucking beautiful.

Katsuki fell to the floor. Eijirou swallowed and smiled as Katsuki caught his breath. Katsuki surged forward smashing their lips together. He pulled the breath from Eijirou's lungs as he kissed himself off his husbands tongue. When they separated he licked the cum across Eijirou's cheek. "Gonna be the fuckin' death of me."

He pressed his open palm to the bulge in Eijirou's sweats and massaged the cock straining there. Eijirou grasped his shoulders as he curled into the touch. "Y-You don't have–"

"I want to."

Eijirou gasped as he squeezed. By the sounds and feel Eijirou was ready to bursting. Katsuki captured his mouth for another long kiss that Eijirou held onto like he was desperate. His hands grasping at Katsuki's arms and fuck he loves it. He slides his hand into the slacks and had Eijirou coming apart in his hands within a few strokes. He's panting hard leaning his head against Katsuki's throat.

"Haah... You feeling better...?" Eijirou panted against his neck.

Katsuki pressed a kiss to his forehead. "You always make me feel better."

Eijirou chuckled against him. "Babe, that was really sappy–"

"Shut up! I know what I said!"

Eijirou was laughing now and Katsuki didn't care anymore that he got disgustingly sappy and cuddly after sex. "We should get changed before we get gross." Katsuki muttered, kissing Eijirou's head once more before pulling him up. They changed quickly, Katsuki fell on the couch and turned the tv on as Eijirou called up their favourite take out place.

Katsuki watched Eijirou as he spoke. He thought back to Eijirou laughing with the kids earlier, how brightly he smiled and how happy he seemed when carrying them.

'Well, what about Eijirou? He's really good with kids, it wouldn't surprise me if he planned to have one.'

Katsuki had her words in his head again. He laid back against the couch and threw his head back to stare at the ceiling. He comprehended the words well enough and the more he thought about them, the more he agreed with them. Eijirou definitely was the kind of person who wanted to be a parent.

Katsuki just wasn’t sure if he was that kind of person. He closed his eyes. He’d just have to man the fuck up and talk with someone like him who was a parent.

It was almost two weeks later Katsuki managed to get a day to himself. Eijirou was meeting Tetsutetsu for some ‘bro’ time and things had finally started to quieten down so Katsuki had himself a day to do whatever. Unfortunately he already knew what he was going to be doing and he wasn’t looking forward to it.

”So my ass of a son finally decided to visit.”

”Shut up Hag. Me and Eijirou had dinner here like a week ago.”

”–Eight weeks ago! Can’t believe you can’t even make time for your own parents.”

”Well shit! Works been a fucking nightmare lately so sorry I’ll ask the villains to shift their shit to another week!”

Katsuki watched his mother eye him unamused before rolling her eyes and letting him in.

He stuffed his hands into his hoodie and made his way to the living room where a tea tray was set next to her work tablet still open.

He plopped down on the couch and avoided his mother’s eyes as she sat opposite him and picked up her cup. He could feel her stare as she sipped.

“So... Where’s dad?”

”Out working, we’re not joined at the hip you know.”

Katsuki grumbled out a “Whatever.”

She lowered her cup. ”Where’s Eijirou?”

“Out, we’re not joined at the –Fuck you.” She laughed.

“Now we’re through bullshitting a conversation, are you planning on telling me why you called saying you needed to talk?” Katsuki stiffened and shot to his feet.

”This was a mistake–“

Sit you’re 500 yen ass down before I make change!”

Katsuki groaned loudly and sat back down. He suddenly felt like he was a 15 year old kid again and not an married adult contemplating having a kid.

“Now cut the bullshit and talk to me Katsuki.”

He avoided her gaze and instead focused on his hands hanging between his legs. She must really be worried because she’d yet to mention his slouching. He sighed and kept his eyes down.

“...Uravity and Ingenium are having a kid, you know.”

”I’ve heard. What is she now? Nearing 3 months probably by now.” Mitsuki took another sip and glanced at the notification that lit up on her tablet.

”Yeah something like that. She’s got some baby shower happening soon too.”

”Well surely you don’t need my advice on a baby shower gift. Eijirou knows kids, he’d know what–“

”That’s not the fucking reason I’m here! I wanted to know wh–agh!” He slid a hand down his face in frustration and laid back against the couch.

Mitsuki remained silent except for her tablet still pinging. She waited for him to speak.

”I wanted to know,” he took a breath, “What it was like... having me.”

Mitsuki leaned over to turn her tablet off. She sat back comfortably and swirled the tea in her lap.

”You were a very... Independant baby. Always desperate to do things yourself. When you were learning to walk you would cry if we tried to help.” She grinned down at her tea.

”Not... Not that.” She looked up at Katsuki with her brows furrowed. “I mean what it was like having me. Like, how did you and dad know that you were, y’know... ready?”

”Oh, we were far from prepared.”

”What.” Katsuki wide eyes snapped to meet hers.

“We had no idea what we were getting to to when we had you. Absolutely underprepared. Hell you were actually a bit of a surprise–“

”–What!?”

”Oh come on, you’re a big boy now Katsuki. You’re old enough to know this.” She sipped nonchalantly.

”Did you even talk about having a kid before you had me!?”

”Well sure we’d considered it but we never really set a solid date and time to start trying. You were a surprise but not really an unwelcome one.” Katsuki remained frozen.

”I mean sure we were ready enough to really settle down with a kid and honestly I wouldn’t have done anything any differently.”

”How the fuck could you possibly be ready to have a kid if you were barely fucking prepared!?”

”Well first stop fucking yelling at me.” She pointed, “And second, no matter how ready you are to have your first kid you will never really be ready. Parenting ain’t a box to tick. There’s no real checklist to go down to show you’re a certified parent. Your first kid is as much a learning curve for you as it is for them.”

She placed her empty cup down. “You’re an amateur parent with an amatuer kid.”

Katsuki dropped back against the chair after realizing he’d shot to his feet somewhere in that conversation. He rubbed his hands up and down his face to smooth out how tense he’d gotten.

To be honest, it stressed him out and somehow calmed him down knowing that his parents were as underprepared to be a parent as he felt.

”I need to get going.” He stood.

”At least drink you’re fucking tea!” He grabbed the spare cup, sculled it and slammed it back down. Mitsuki roller her eyes.

”Good talk. Make sure you bring Eijirou around next time, you know I miss seeing him.” She smirked as Katsuki adjusted his hoodie.

”Yeah sure, thanks and shit.” He shuffled to the front door.

”Oi! And Katsuki!” He gripped the door handle and spun around.

”What!”

Mitsuki was walking up to him, she put a hand on his shoulder and gave him a surprisingly tender concerned look. “I’m always here if you need to talk about this shit.”

Katsuki nodded and looked away. He shrugged her hand off and she responded by ruffling his hair like he was still a fucking kid.

Katsuki decided to take the longe route home. Eijirou would be out for a while so it’s not like he was in a rush to get home. Besides he felt like he needed to register what his mother had told him.

He was in deep thought when he heard screams and a loud thud.

His mind immediately went into hero mode and he sprinted to the direction of the screams. He skidded to stop at a park where a villain with green skin and enormous arms wrapped in throned vines stood swinging his arms.

Parents were grabbing their children and running. Katsuki cursed remembering he wasn’t in his Hero Uniform.

He threw his hands down, sparked explosions to launch him up to the villain and prepared to shoot an explosion in its face.

But he was spotted as he flew and the villains swung and arm up looking to block his path. Katsuki gasped in panic as in the villains grasp was a little kid. A girl looking five years old with pale blue skin, white hair and a petrified expression.

Luckily Katsuki was quicker, he threw his hands down and launched himself overhead. He landed hard but shook it off and met the kids eyes.

”Don’t try anything! Just turn around, let me go and the kid’ll be fine!”

”Why the fuck should I trust you?! Hah?” He began trying to stall the villain, knowing the area of the city he was in then the closest agency would be Deku and Half n Half’s. Katsuki hated teaming up, with certain exceptions, but hostage situations were best delt with by at least two heroes. He just had to stall enough for one of them to get here.

“Have it your way then!”

Panic. Katsuki couldn’t grab the villain otherwise he’d put his hands out of commission. But the kid was crying as thorns tightened around her middle. The vine villain shot his spare arm out aiming vines right for him. Thinking quick, Katsuki yanked off his sweater and blew himself forwards.

He spun over the villains head, holding his sleeves he covered the mans face and using a blast, he managed to spin the villain mid air.

The girl flew up free from his grip. Katsuki quickly blew himself back just as she was falling. She thumped against his chest as they were propelled through a he air.

Katsuki secured her with a hand as she wrapped her legs and arms around him tightly.

They landed with a skid and a hand dragging the dusty ground.

The villain pulled the bow torn sweater from his face, “–You son of a–!” Then suddenly as he tried to step he found his feet frozen to the floor. Katsuki let out a breath and Shouto froze the mans legs and secured him on the spot. “That’s enough out of you.” He spoke as he approached in his Hero uniform.

Katsuki and Deku may be on neutral ground now but he still couldn’t stand working with him for long. Shouto at least he could tolerate for a while.

”About time you showed up.” Katsuki straightened up keeping one arm secure around the girl who was peeking curiously at the other Hero on the scene.

”Apologies, though you seemed to be handling yourself well enough.”

Katsuki scoffed, “Of course I was.”

He felt a hiccup at his side and came to the abrupt realization he was still holding the kid.

Her tears had stopped and her skin was a bit scratched, the green dress with the bubble word ‘Froppy!’ a little torn but not too bad.

Oh shit she was looking at him now. Shit. Okay try something else. Don’t bring up scars!

”Uhh...” Katsuki fumbled over his words as the big blue eyes blinked up at him. “Uh... good job.” He brough a hand up and patted her head twice.

Christ this was awkward. But she wasn’t crying again so that was something!

”...You were pretty tough.” He muttered as she wiped a tear off of her chin. Maybe he should...

Katsuki brought his free hand up and began wiping rough fingers over the tear streaks on her cheeks. She squeezed her eyes shut as her babyfat cheeks squished under his rough thumb.

”You...” She mumbled and Katsuki froze. “You’re not around kids a lot aren’t ya.”

Katsuki let out a long sigh. “What, am I that obvious?”

”Uh-huh!” She nodded and brought her smaller hands up to his hand. She began demonstrating how to wipe her cheeks. “You gotta be softer! That’s the proper way.”

”...Okay...” He nodded slowly and allowed her to let him wipe her cheeks the ‘proper’ way.

”And then you gotta pat my head and go ‘there there!’ Okay?” She demonstrated by sitting up straighter and patting his head twice.

Katsuki let out a soft chuckle, he humored her and gave her head a couple pats “There, there.”

”No! You gotta do it two times, not three!” She pouted.

”Oh come on! That was pretty good!” He objected thinking it was better than his first attempt.

”Again!" She chanted, bouncing in his hold. He rolled his eyes before giving her head a good two pats and punctuating each with "There, there."

"Much better!" She giggled and Katsuki found himself smiling.

"Ame! Oh baby thank god!" Katsuki turned his attention to a woman with white hair running from the newly formed crowd of people. "Mama!" The girl cheered and reached her hands out for the woman. Katsuki allowed her out of his hold and for a brief moment he felt that he missed her weight before swatting that feeling in favour of leaving the embraced pair and grabbing his tattered hoodie off the floor.

"Sir!" Katsuki looked back to the mother. "You're Ground Zero, right? I can't thank you enough for saving my baby girl." The woman had blue freckles dotting across her face and relieved tears dotting her eyes.

"Yeah, just keep an eye on her." He shrugged and looked to Shouto talking with the officer who just arrived.

"Absolutely! Thank you so much!" She bowed frantically. Katsuki turned away.

"Hey!" Katsuki felt a weight hit his leg. He looked down and saw a smooth head of poofy white hair rub against his leg. She was hugging his leg very tightly. Katsuki didn't know what to do with his hands. Ame then smiled up at him and Katsuki felt so badly that he wanted to pat her head again. "Thank you for saving me, Ground Zero!"

"Yeah... stay outta trouble."

"Okie dokie!" She grinned and gave his leg one last squeeze before running back to her mother and waving enthusiastically. "Bye-bye!" Katsuki raised a hand back without realising.

"That was... surprisingly sweet." Katsuki felt a shiver like cold water run up his spine as he heard Shouto speak. "You handled her pretty well–"

"–Shut up! Don't say anything! Don't you dare say a fucking word!" Katsuki snapped pointing a finger at the Hero and fighting the embarrassed flush he felt on his cheeks. Shouto held his hands up showing he'd drop it. Katsuki was quick to pass the situation off to Shouto, let his agency deal with the damage control since Katsuki at this point couldn't give a fuck about the villain situation.

All that was on his mind now was that he saved a kid and the whole thing didn't end in tears!

Katsuki tossed his tattered hoodie in a bin and resolved to just wear his undershirt until he got home. Not that he cared by this point. He was feeling so fucking elated! He had to tell Eijirou! Katsuki may have began walking with a bit of a spring in his step but hey, he fucking earned it!

Luckily Eijirou's favourite gym was close enough that Katsuki's mood hadn't even begun to diminish as he approached. He opened the door and let himself in, he began scanning the people in the gym looking for his husband and fighting the proud grin from spreading on his face. After shifting around he managed to spot the redhead paired up with Tetsutetsu. Eijirou was putting on more weights as Tetsu chugged his water bottle before laying back and grabbing the bar.

"You got this, dude!" Eijirou cheered pumping his fist as Tetsu went into his steel form and began to push. He struggled but with Eijirou cheering him on he managed to push the excessive amount of weights up. Both men cheered happily as Tetsu dropped the weights back on the rack. "Nice job!" Eijirou reached into his bag and tossed Tetsu a fresh water bottle.

Katsuki watched the two engage in their manly conversation of offering the other fitness tips. A usual discussion for these two. Katsuki was starting to get tired of waiting for their conversation to end and was about to pull Eijirou away so they could maybe grab lunch and he could tell him about his encounter with that girl. He froze around the corner from the two as a topic came up.

"I know man, I'm so happy for her! She texted me earlier saying that she and Tenya went shopping for more loose dresses. I can't imagine how it must be to buy a whole new wardrobe because her clothes won't fit." Eijirou smiled.

"I guess it's something we just won't experience." Tetsu agreed before looking at his water bottle held in a loose grip between his legs. "But actually, now you bring it up, the whole baby thing that it... Me and Denki, we've been... talking a lot lately." Tetsu scratched the back of his neck.

Eijirou could already see where this conversation was going because he started to brighten up. "Bro..."

"...And we're thinking of having a kid."

"–Bro! That's huge!" Eijirou thumped him happily on the back and his face was positively glowing. "I can't believe it! That's amazing! What're you gonna do? Adoption? Surrogate?"

Tetsu chuckled. "We're seeing someone about what they call a Quirk Birth, there's this Doctor that specialises in same sex couples wanting biological kids and in 9 months can give them one. It's a legit Doctor too! She's really well praised and yeah... We went for an introduction to see if we wanna go through with it."

Eijirou was almost vibrating with happiness from where Katsuki could see him. "And...?"

"And we're planning another appointment next week."

"Oh my god! Testu, bro, this is amazing! My two dudes are gonna have a baby!" Eijirou hugged him around his shoulders.

"Ha ha thanks bro!" Tetsu laughed and hugged him back. "What about you? Haven't you brought up the whole 'I kinda wanna have a baby – no big deal – please don't get mad but please hear me out' topic with your Katsuki yet?" Said blonde stood rooted to the spot as he hid from view. He carefully watched Eijirou wince and suck in a low breath. He released the steel hero and looked away.

"I guess not then." Tetsu remarked sounding concerned.

"It's not that–" Eijirou dropped his shoulders and sighed. "It's not that I think Katsuki will get mad. It's just... Sure I'd love to have a kid. But even if I don't, I still have Katsuki, so I'll still live a really happy life anyway. Plus Katsuki hates it when he can't do something, I love him and I love that about him, but I'm worried if I bring this topic up then he'll never be able to stop thinking about it until he decides it'll never happen and– and... I dunno..."

Tetsu placed a hand on Eijirou's shoulder in an effort to sooth him from the stress Katsuki was obviously putting him through.

"He won't leave you if you say you want a kid, Eijirou." Katsuki bit his lip. Eijirou didn't believe that, did he? Katsuki loved him way too fucking much to ever leave him over something like a disagreement. Katsuki couldn't even imagine a kid being a deal breaker. He just... He just didn't know. After talking with his mother he'd gotten a better understanding on what it would be like having a kid wether he was or wasn't fully ready, and that encounter with that little girl really did boost his confidence.

"I know, Tetsu. It's just... I don't want to put him in that kind of position. I love him way too much to worry him with this." Eijirou gave a smile and Katsuki felt a pain in his chest.

"...That was pretty gay, bro." Tetsu chuckled.

"Well we are pretty gay, bro." Eijirou matched his grin and the two laughed together. Katsuki excused himself and snuck out of the gym. He was making Eijirou worry. Eijirou wanted something and Katsuki was making him feel like he couldn't even talk about it with him. He fisted his hands in his pockets and began his march home.

Katsuki had a lot more research to do before he could give Eijirou an answer to a question he's apparently been wanting to ask.

Is he was ready to decide if he wants to have a baby.

Notes:

So there's chapter 2! Not gonna lie after the final chapter I might do an epilogue. But we'll just have to wait and see how that goes.

Please do drop a comment! I’d really love to read anything you'd have to say ❤
