after years of neglecting to gather social skills and then being forced into servitude by toichiro, serizawa isn't used to being touched by people out of the blue. or really at all since it was a rare occurrence. so reigen decides the best way to fix that is by touch therapy in order to get serizawa used to being touched by other people. it doesn't go to plan the first time for sure and he's pretty sure he actually made things worse.
