Chapter Text

-Y/N POV-
"Ugh what a pain" I said

I walked through the halls of the school trying to find my dorm. And of course I get stares since I'm a gray wolf. Not to mention I haven't seen nor smelled a single one here. And there was apparently a murder yesterday and then a new wolf shows up, it's making me look suspicious as hell.

It took awhile but I finally found the room

"Canine room 701" I whispered to myself

I opened the door and was greeted by five pairs of eyes

"...hi!" a Labrador said

"You're a gray wolf right? Just like Legosi? You look alot scarier than him though" a sheepdog said examining me

So there was another wolf here. We're probably the only ones though.

"Yeah I am. Where is my bed?" I asked

"You sound way scarier than him too. Since you guys are both gray wolves you can have the one that's above him" the Labrador said pointing to the bed

"Oh that's right. I'm Jack. He's Voss. That's Collot. And those two are Durham and Miguno" Jack said

"Y/N" I said curtly

"Right...we were just going to go to lunch wanna join us? I'm sure Legosi will be there" Jack said

"Sure"

I threw my backpack on the bed and left with them. Each time we walked pass a group of people they would start whispering but I could hear them. They would say something along the lines of "Another gray wolf? Maybe he did it". Jack seemed to notice and tried to take my mind off it

"So Y/N where are you from?"

"You wouldn't want to know"

"How about why you came to Cherryton?"

"My dad forced me to come here"

"...huh" Jack said

We got to the cafeteria and despite the smell of food and other animals I was able to pick up another gray wolf. I found out where it was coming from and that's when I saw him. It looked like he did the same as me since we were now staring at eachother. Jack pulled me over to him

"Legosi! Look another gray wolf like you! " Jack said

We continued to stare at eachother. We were about the same height but I was clearly stronger. To be honest he was cute for a gray wolf since most of us just look evil.

"Are you guys going to talk to eachother or just stare eachother?" Collot asked

"O-oh! I-Im Legosi" he said

"Talk about nervous. I'm Y/N"

He had just got his lunch and went to sit down. Me and Jack grabbed ours and went to sit with Legosi. I sat across from him as Jack sat next to him. They both are as I just looked at it

"Why aren't you eating Y/N?" Jack asked

"Carnivore food doesn't compare to the real thing" I said picking at the food

They both stared at me and a few other people heard me as well

"Uh...that was a joke"

Before anyone could respond a fight broke out. Apparently someone stepped on someone's tail. They fought as I just watched but I could feel somebody's anger growing. It was Legosi and he decided to interfere in the fight

"STOP IT!" he yelled

Stop it? Really? He sure is a weird wolf. The fox that was fighting then confronted Legosi and wanted to fight him now. He immediately became flustered so I decided to take over

"Wanna fight me instead?" I asked

"I'll kick your ass too!" he said cocky

I barred my teeth and they had a red tint to them. His expression changed to one of fear. I walked over to him and he was frozen in place. I grabbed his neck

"Herbivore or carnivore it doesn't matter to me. They all have the same rich taste of blood" I said moving my mouth to his neck

I could feel him tremble. Just as I was going to bite down someone else decided to say something

"I hope you were joking"

I turned around to see a red deer and the way he presented himself said that he was above everyone else. When I turned away to look at the deer the fox and the guy he was fighting ran away along with a few now scared students. I turned to the deer

"Of course it was a joke. The red stains on my fangs are from a drink" I said with a upbeat tone

He looked me up and down

"Hmmm...." the deer said circling me

"I want you in the drama club" he said bluntly

"What!" Legosi said

"Yeah I can't act"

"Which is why you'll work with Legosi. Show him the way to the auditorium. I expect to see you both there in ten minutes" the deer said leaving

Why me? I've never been on a stage before. Hell, I've never been in a school club before.

"C'mon we better go" I said

"R-right"

Legosi explained that he was a stagehand. And the second we got there I was put to work

"Glad you could make it there are some boxes over that need to be moved" the deer said

I rolled my eyes but did as he asked. We were supposed to sort through them with a couple of other animals

"Another gray wolf huh? And somehow you managed to look more intimidating than Legosi" a red panda said

"Why're you here anyway?" A mongoose asked

"Why am I in the club or school?" I asked

"The school" he replied

"I kinda broke my dad's one rule. He kicked me out and enrolled me here"

"What was the one rule?" the anteater asked

"I'd rather not say" I said looking through the boxes again

"Everyone was talking about your teeth having a red color to them. Is that related to the "one rule"?" the peafowl said

"...no, like I said before this is from a drink"

Nobody said anything about me after that but they continued to talk about other stuff. Once we were done the intercom said it was time for "territory time"

"What's that?" I asked following Legosi

"Oh it's a way for everyone to relieve stress in their own environment. So that means we'll go to the wolf room" he explained for the first time without stuttering

I followed him into a dark room with a huge light overhead

"That light is supposed to simulate the moon" he said

I always did like the way the moon lit up the night and the cool breeze on the air. It always made me want to do something, anything. I just needed to be active

"This is boring as hell" I said

"R-really? I always thought of it as relaxing" Legosi said

"Relaxing...Legosi I've been meaning to ask you something"

"What is it?"

"We're both large breed carnivores so we have to push our feral instincts back the most. How do you handle yours?"

"Oh ummm how do I put it....I just kind of hold it in. I know it's probably not the most healthy way but atleast I don't kill anyone"

I hated people like this. Why not just give in? We carnivores are the superior species but everyone is so docile

"Why do you ask?" he asked

"No reason"

After that territorial time was up and everyone was supposed to go back to their dorms for the night.

-Y/N POV-
I went through all my other classes and apparently the drama club was getting an award. Even though I just joined yesterday I was allowed to participate. Afterwards me and the rest of the stagehands were put to work. We just had to adjust light levels which was really easy. Kai started talking about how everyone here was recruited and they have some special trait or experience.

"If you didn't know I was abandoned at birth and adopted by a family of hyenas. So I guess that was good enough" Kai said

"I was too but not really many people know. So how did Louis know?" I asked

"You were adopted Y/N?" Legosi asked

"Yup by a single panda"

"But what's your reason Legosi? Do you have a secret?" I asked moving closer to his face

"A secret huh?..."

He turned off the lights and leaned closer to my face

"What could it be?" he said trying to be scary

I grabbed his chin and pulled him closer and moved my mouth to his ear

"It'll take a lot more than that to scare me" I said seductively

I was going to bite him but pulled away

"C'mon let's finish up here so we can go back to the dorm"

"O-oh o-okay" Legosi said a flustered mess

"You guys are dorks" Kai said

We went to join the actor group and I was called out by a familiar voice

"Y/N! You bastard you didn't tell me you went here!" Bill said

"I just got here yesterday dumbass!" I said slinging my arm around his shoulders

"You guys know eachother?!" Everyone seemed to ask

"Yeah I've known Y/N since we were kids. Did you know he grew up in the gh-"

I placed my hand around his mouth to stop him from talking

"I see you still talk alot. What's it been one, two years?"

"Yeah it's been around two. So...do you still have those underground connections?" the last part was said in a cold tone

There it was. His infamous sly personality that's hidden under a friendly persona. It was one of the parts I liked about him but I hated it when he'd use it like this on me. But nonetheless he was my one and only bestfriend

"C'mon Y/N" Legosi said pulling me away

"Thanks he can be a real asshole. But if I didn't know better I'd think you did that out of jealousy" I said

The face he made said I hit I right on the head

"N-no we have to ask Louis about the lighting"

"Uh-huh"

He opened the door we were by to reveal the red deer, Louis on the ground.

"Are you okay Louis?" Legosi asked helping him up

I walked in and closed the door behind me. I leaned against it with my arms crossed as they talked about the level of lighting for the play tomorrow

"Hey why don't you ever utilize your strength?" He asked me out of the blue

"Because that would be illegal"

Does he know about my past? Just who is this deer?

He stood up and stood right in front of me as he placed one of his hands on my neck

"Don't restrain yourself. I want you to show me your fangs" Louis said

"I would be arrested if I bare my fangs at a herbivore"

"DONT LABEL ME AS A HERBIVORE!" he yelled

He started pushing back my mouth to reveal my fangs

"Large breed carnivores like you irritate me the most"

His hand was lined up against my fangs

"Drop the act"

He started pushing his hand against my fangs

"Bite me!"

I could feel myself wanting to bite down just to taste the smallest hint of blood. But just before I actually did Legosi pulled him off me. I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding

"Our strength as wolves I a liability. While your strength is a asset. You're strong for the right reasons while we aren't" Legosi said

"Let's go Y/N" he said

"R-right"

I walked out with him to realize I was panting and my heart was racing. I took several deep breaths

"Are you ok Y/N? I would've never guessed he'd do something like that" Legosi asked

"Yeah I'm good let's just go back to the dorm"

-Day 1 of the play-
The play was taking place early in the morning so I had to get up early with Legosi early to prepare. It was just me and him on the lights. While we were setting up Louis came out and gave everyone a pep talk. And while he did I could tell that his leg had the smell of poultice. But I ignored it for now and me and Legosi went to our spots to use the lights

"You smelled it too right? Louis leg must be injured" I said

"Yeah but how do you know it's his leg?" Legosi asked

"That's where the smell was strongest but you probably couldn't pinpoint. My dad did always say my senses were stronger than most canines"

We watched the play as we tended to the lights when we needed to. And soon enough the first part of the play was over. We went to join the actor team but apparently Louis collapsed after the curtains closed. He was taken to the school's infirmary. Legosi was going with everyone there so I decided to follow

"The doctor said you had a stress fracture in you left leg. And you're in no position to finish the play tomorrow" Bill said bluntly

Everyone started talking about the way Bill said it and that Louis did a great job today. But Louis seemed to hate the compliments since he yelled at everyone probably a pride thing. But then he made Bill of all people take the role as Alder, the main character of the play.

"I want Y/N to be a mook as well as Legosi" Louis added

"I can't act though..." I said

"M-me neither" Legosi

"Looks only have two lines to remember. Surely you can handle that" he said

"Of course you guys can do it!" Bill said wrapping his arms around us

I sighed and we all went back to the auditorium. And Bill wanted me to play my part which was fighting him. That's probably why that deer wanted me in this spot. I picked up one of the weapons and stood on stage with him

"You sure you want to do this? After all the times we fought you've never won once" I asked

He tried to catch me off guard by attacking before answering but I managed to block it

"I've changed these past two years" he said

He wasn't lying either. He definitely built up his strength since the last time I seen him but so did I. I dropped down and kicked the back of his legs making him fall on his back. I put my foot on his chest and pointed the weapon in his face

"I thought large breed felines were stronger than the canines" I said

"Whatever just help me up"

-Day 2 of the play-
Me and Legosi were just going to get into our costumes but I smelled something. It was intoxicating and I wanted to smell it more and taste it. I turned around to see the smell of blood was coming from Bill. And it looks like Legosi picked up on it too

"What's wrong Y/N?...oh wait" Bill said

I walked over to him and stood against him with Legosi doing the same

"Oh! We have 30 minutes till the performance right? I have to go to the bathroom!" Bill said running off

"I uh have to go to" Legosi said chasing him

"Imma just go with them" I said following behind

When we go to the bathroom Legosi went in first but stopped at the door. I walked pass him and straight to Bill and pinned him against the wall

"What the hell is that?!" I asked even though I knew exactly what it was

"You of all people should know"

He pulled out a vial of blood. I let go of him and backed away trying my hardest not to give into my feral instincts

"This is rabbit blood" he said showing it off

When he said that Legosi pinned him against the wall

"Hear me out, will you? I'm only going to use this for the play. And somebody else gave it to me. It's justified doping. You'll never understand since you never had to deal with the pressure" Bill said

I covered my nose from the smell of blood as Legosi started to walk away from Bill

"We'll meet on stage Bill. I'll make you pay" Legosi said

He grabbed my wrist and dragged me out

"What did he mean by "You of all people should know"?" Legosi asked

I didn't think he picked up on that

"Oh he was uh... probably just picking at the fact that I was a wolf. C'mon let's get ready" I said changing the subject

He didn't ask any questions about it as we got dressed but there was definitely some tension. We looked like pirates instead of mooks. What even is a mook? Whatever. We went on stage and Legosi's eyes were fixed on Bill. He casually walked over to him and slapped him knocking him to the ground which definitely wasn't part of the script. Legosi got on top of him and started punching him over and over. I walked over and squatted beside Bill's head

"Rest now reaper your story is over" I said trying to make it look like this was part of the play

Bill managed to kick Legosi off him and tried to get up. Before he could get up I got on top of him and plunged my claws into his chest

"How long has it been since we fought like this Bill?" I asked dragging my claws down his chest leaving deep cuts

"Too long my friend" he said wrapping his arms around me leaving the same deep cuts into my back

"The matching stripes every predator can have. Proof of our kinship" we said together

The smell of blood was getting to me as I started to move my head to his neck. But before it could escalate any further Louis showed up and pushed me off of him. Him and Bill were talking to eachother but I wasn't listening. I was too focused on the blood on my hands. I was about to lick it off my hands until Legosi dragged me offstage and took me to the bathroom. He pulled me over to a sink and turned the faucet and forced my hands under it. I started to come down from the blood high. My back was still bleeding but my own blood didn't taste as good as someone else's so it didn't bother me

"I-Im sorry. Since I went off script Bill ended up scratching your back" Legosi said

"It's fine. It was kind of hot seeing you like that"

"R-really?!...I mean let's go get your back patched up"

Back downstairs Dom patched me and Bill up as we were lectured about the fight

"You guys need to apologize to Louis" the jaguar? Cheetah? (I forgot her name XD) said

"All three of us?" Bill asked

"Yes now go" she replied

We were wondering the halls trying to figure out where he was

"I'm sorry if I ruined you guys friendship" Legosi said

He definitely isn't like other wolves. But I had an idea to test him

"It's ok Legosi. Ain't that right Bill?"

Before he could answer I went in front of Bill and wrapped my arms around his neck. I moved my head closer to his ear

"Nothing can break a friendship like ours" I whispered but was loud enough for Legosi to hear

I made sure to have a seductive tone as well. I looked back at Legosi to see him staring with a mad expression on his face. I was going to let go of Bill but he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him and started to grind against me

"Took you long enough to come around" he said

"Bill...if you don't let go of me I'm going to kill you" I said trying to pull away

"Oh don't be like that ba-"

I punched him I his throat. He let go of me and started holding his neck

"I was joking dumbass. You haven't changed at all"

I looked back at Legosi and his expression of anger turned into one of shock

"C'mon Legosi you know you're the only person I have room in my heart for" I said pulling him to walk with me

"Wait for me you asshole!" Bill yelled trying to catch up

(Since Haru is a big part of Beastars and I can't just remove her she'll be Legosi's life long friend like Jack)
-Y/N POV-
I woke up because someone kept shaking me

"C'mon Y/N! We have to cut our fur!" Jack said

Oh god summer is coming. I looked at the rest of the canines and saw Collot already cut his hair. I got out of bed and grabbed his face

"No...where has my fluffy boi gone?"

"Don't worry it'll come back!" he said

After our classes me and Legosi were told to meet up in the drama club's store house. It's been a month since the play and now we have to start working on the meteor festival. The head of the drama club explained the details and then we were free to go. I left with Legosi but he suddenly stopped. He grabbed pulled me back into the school.

"Legosi, I'm pretty sure I know how to follow someone you don't have to pull me" I said

"Oh uh sorry"

He let go of me and continued to walk with me following behind. He seemed like he was following a scent since he had his nose out. We ended walking behind a white rabbit that seemed to snap since she was yelling at another rabbit. I flashed my red stained teeth at the other rabbit and her friends and they ran away leaving the white one.

"I hope they don't report me for that" I said to Legosi

The white rabbit turned around to us

"Hey Legosi...and friend" she said

"Oh! Haru this is Y/N and Y/N this is Haru" Legosi introduced us

"Hey" I said plainly

She didn't say anything back but started staring at my hands, I quickly shoved them into my pockets

"Uh...huh...Well since those bitches left let's go get something to eat at the cafeteria!" she said

"That's that new wolf right? I heard he was the one that killed Tem" some people said talking about me

"Are you sure you don't want any food Y/N?" Haru asked

"I've always been a drink type of guy. I'm fine" I said sipping on a red soda

The both of them continued to talk as I drank my soda. It's was pretty late when we decided to leave. Haru left by herself while me and Legosi walked together

"Y'know you're a pretty weird wolf Legosi. You're nothing like the ones from where I'm from"

"What are the other ones like?"

"Backstabbers to say the least. But that might just because of where I grew up"

"And where was that?"

"Can't say at the moment. But something tells me you'll be there soon"

We backed to the dorm together and the look on his face said he was trying to figure out what I meant. The adorable bastard

The next day I woke up and got on my phone and apparently a gazelle was killed in a neighboring town. It was probably the same person who killed that one guy here. Hopefully people would stop accusing me but they'll probably say that I went over to the other town.

I went through all my classes and went to drama club. Louis explained that the carnivore will go help with the festival. And the herbivores couldn't due to the murder today. He got up to leave but said something before he left

"Do not enter the ghetto" Louis said leaving

When he said that I felt my heart skip a beat. Some girl didn't know what it was and guessed it was a place that sold herbivore blood and meat. She was right but Bill lied to her about it

"The ghetto is just a red light district that sells porn mags to carnivores"

Me, Legosi, and Aoba left.

"Have you guys been to the ghetto before?" Legosi asked turning to Aoba

I put my finger to mouth telling him not to tell him

"Uh...no I haven't" Aoba said

Legosi then turned to me

"Me neither" I lied

"You shouldn't worry about it though. Just stay your innocent self" I added

The next day we were off and Bill said we should all go out. But I knew there was some kind of ulterior motive. I haven't been outside of the school since I got here and Legosi said he hasn't left in an entire year. The first place we hit up was a restaurant. Everyone ordered food but I just wanted some kind of red drink. All of them were talking with me and Legosi just listening. Bill brought up some sex story he had and pointed out that Legosi was a virgin

"You're a virgin right Legosi? Or did Y/N already take it?" Bill asked

I couldn't decide whether to tease Legosi or be mad at Bill so I said the first thing to come to mind

"Leave him alone Bill. I'll take it in time" I said moving his head to face me

He looked shocked but went back to eating. Once everyone was done we left and tried to go back to school but Bill said we were "lost" which was probably a lie. We walked around trying to find a way back but I noticed the area started to seem familiar. And that's when it hit me. We were in the ghetto we were heading for a staircase that would lead to the heart of it. And Bill lead us right up it.

Legosi asked a old man for help with directions but the man asked him of he wanted a to buy one of his fingers, showing him his hands that had pricetags on his fingers. I pulled Legosi away from him but Bill quickly ran to the old man

"You're really selling your fingers?! If I buy one you'll really give it to me? You guys want to try it to right? So 70k divided by-" before he could finish his sentence Legosi slapped him

They started arguing and Bill kept calling him a kid for being against it. Legosi went to attack him but Aoba stopped him

"I would be on your side Legosi but look where we are. This is the ghetto and we're carnivores" Aoba said

"Whatever! I'm going to find the way back to the school by going this way" be said heading further into the ghetto

I tried to follow him but Bill stopped me

"Legosi! Call or text me if you get into trouble!" I yelled to him

-Legosi POV-
(Skipping halfway into his talk with Gouhin)

"So Legosi. Do you have a love interest?" the panda asked resting his head in the palm of his hand

"Well there is this other wolf"

"Ok what's her name?"

"It's a guy actually"

"Two male carnivores? Most of those kind of relationships don't end well. But what's his name?"

"Y/N. Why are you asking these questions?"

He didn't reply back but leaned forward in his chair

"Another wolf named Y/N...I suggest you stay away from him"

"Why?"

That's when it hit me. Y/N said he grew up here and his father was a panda

"You're...his dad right?"

"So he talks about me? Hopefully he's put in good words" he said as a joke

"He doesn't say much about his past. But he did say you kicked him out since he broke a rule. What was it?"

He didn't say anything for a few seconds but then did

"Listen, that wolf has a reputation here. I found him when he was just a pup and took him in. Despite everyone here in the ghetto being criminals everyone liked Y/N. He grew up with one rule I set "Don't give into your feral instincts" which he seemed to follow with no problem. I trained him on how to fight and use weapons but that was a mistake on my part. He would start fights with anyone. He would always win but always came out a bloody mess. His body is probably covered in scars but he always has a jacket on so I never saw them. I would lecture him but the fights only got more frequent and serious. Eventually he earned the name "the Bloodstained Wolf". His teeth became stained with a permanent red color and the fur around his hands were changed burgundy. It wasn't until recently that I found out he was killing other animals to drink their blood. Usually when a carnivore taste meat they undergo a phycological change but he didn't. I brought it up with him and he didn't deny it in the slightest. I told him to leave and signed him up for that boarding school but saying it now that definitely wasn't the smartest decision. But like I said you should stay away from him" he explained

"Th-thats alot to take in. We have to be talking about different people no way he could kill someone"

"...If you think so. My Y/N has the tattoo "BW" on the back of his left shoulder. If it is him tell him to call his old man sometime"

"I thought you kicked him out"

"Yeah but even though we aren't blood related I'm still his dad. You can leave by the way. Oh wait you can have this since I kind of told you to leave your crush alone" he handed me a male wolf porn mag

I got up and left without saying a word. I looked for an exit out of the ghetto and found one with a familiar face there

"Hey I've been looking all over for you" Y/N said

"You're not hurt are you?" he asked

I walked up to him and pulled his mouth back to reveal his fangs. He never fully showed them but when I pulled them back each one of them had a red hue that gets darker at the base of the tooth. He pushed my hand away and covered his mouth

"What's wrong?" he asked

I grabbed his hand to examine it and the fur was burgundy and rough. I turned him around and ripped his shirt to reveal his tattoo "BW" most likely meaning Blood Wolf. I let go of him and brushed passed him

"Your dad said call him sometime" I said coldly

-Y/N POV-
What do I do? Do I act dumb? I have to say something before he gets further away

"You met my dad huh? What did he tell you?" I asked

He stopped and turned around and ran at me. He reared his arm back and punched me

"I probably deserved that"

"No wonder you never talked about yourself. You're a...criminal!"

"What did you expect?! You saw where I grew up at. It came naturally to me"

"You even got a fucking tattoo about killing! Were you proud about it?!"

"It was...I was just trying to hold up my reputation. But I've changed since then I swore I wouldn't kill again" I lied

He started pacing while holding his face

"Let's just go back to the dorm. We'll talk about this later" he said

We walked back to the dorms not speaking to eachother. When we did make it I back he went straight to bed and I did the same

Like any other day I went through my classes. But when I went to drama club I could smell a gray wolf but it wasn't like Legosi's smell. I followed it and met a female wolf

"Oh wow I thought I smelled another wolf! I'm Juno" the girl said

"Y/N. Have you seen another wolf?" I asked

"No. I only smelled you"

"Sorry but I have to find him I'll see you later" I said walking away

It took awhile but I picked up Legosi's scent. He was in one of the dance teams training rooms. He was on his back with his arms extended in front of him staring at his hands. I snuck beside him and did the same

"God yours are so clean" I said

He just continued to stare at his hands. But then another pair of hands joined ours

"What is this? A male wolf thing?" Juno asked

Legosi rolled over and covered his hands as I just sat up.

"A-another wolf? Since when?" he asked

She introduced herself to Legosi and explained that she was in the actor team and came here to practice. But she asked me and Legosi to dance so she can have an idea on what to do. Back with exes I used to slow dance with them so this was convenient.

"I'm sorry for not telling you about me sooner" I said

"It-Its fine just promise me you'll never revert back to that"

"Anything for you cutie" I said licking him

The cheetah girl (Still too lazy to find out her name) came in and made us both flustered

"What are you guys doing in here?...three wolves..."

"We were just leaving!" I said

We all left but Legosi said he still had some stuff to do so I just went back to the dorm. But when I did Jack was the only one there and he was looking at something

"Whatcha looking at?"

"I uh this is...I found this in Legosi's bed"

It was a male wolf porn magazine. And it wasn't just any magazine it was the one I had when I was 15 before Gouhin took it

"This is definitely because of Gouhin" I whispered to myself

I handed Jack the magazine back and got into my bed

"So what're you going to do?" I asked him

"A-arent you guys dating? Shouldn't you do something?"

"Yeah but I have a idea"

Jack gave me the mag and left. I waited for Legosi to come back just to embarrass him. When he did come back he went straight to his bed. I got out of mine and stood by his

"I thought I knew you Legosi. But this is just surprising. What a dirty wolf you are" I said flipping through the pages

He jumped out of the bed and kicked me in the process, knocking me over. He pinned me down on the ground by holding my wrists

"Ohh harder daddy!" (JK 😂 Hazbin reference)

"Calm down I was just messing with you. I know it isn't yours"

"Because it used to belong to me. Now whenever you 'use' it just think of me from now on"

"I-"

Just as he was going to talk Jack came back with the rest of the canines. And all they saw was a flustered Legosi pinning me down.

"Sh-should we come back?" Jack asked

"IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" Legosi yelled

He got off of me and tried to explain to them what happened

"Atleast do it in the bed and not in the middle of the floor" Voss said

I teased him about the misunderstanding for a little while then went to bed. The next day we were going to start getting ready for the festival. Instead of going to drama club me and Legosi went to where the festival was going to be held. Today we were just painting some sculptures. I got some paint on my hands so I went to go wash them. Luckily there was a fountain. I washed my fur but the burgundy patches were still there. I always tried to get them out but they never did. While I was scrubbing at the patched I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned aroumd and they immediately started kissing me. I thought it was Legosi at first but their frame was too big and the smell was way off. I pushed them off me to see Bill. I felt my eye twitch and I started baring my fangs

"It was a dare. Chill out" he said

I didn't say anything but walked passed him and bump into him when I did. That's when I felt someone's stare hit my back like a knife. I turned around and tried to pinpoint the stare but there were too many people. I went back to painting but I could still feel it

-Legosi POV-
Y/N...and Bill? I know we aren't exactly anything but why is it bothering so much? Y/N seemed like he was into the kiss but he barred his fangs at Bill. I couldn't tell but I knew that I would have to claim Y/N as mine before Bill. Without a doubt...

"I'm in love with you, Y/N"

-Y/N POV-
I was squatted down painting the heel of one the dinosaur statues until a shadow was cast over me. I knew it was Legosi because of his smell. I stood up and faced him

"Need something?~" I cooed

"O-oh uh I was just seeing if you needed any help" he said

"I'm pretty sure I can handle painting"

"Well how about we walk to school together?"

God this wolf is adorable

"Why?"

"Because it's dangerous outside...?"

It's obvious he just wanted to be around me

"Yeah let's go now actually. This is getting boring"

We walked to a subway in silence. I could tell he was looking at me but everytime I looked at him he looked away

"Is something wrong Legosi?" I asked

"It's just that I've been meaning to ask you a question"

"And that is?"

"What am I to you?"

"Well I was thinking... future husband? To be so honest"

"O-oh w-wow really? Why me though? Surely you could find someone better than me"

I grabbed him by his waist and pulled him closer

"Trust me. There isn't anyone better"

Right after that someone grabbed my shoulder and pulled me off him. I turned around to see a leopard with an eyepatch

"You're Y/N right?" the leopard asked

"Depends on whose asking"

"Well I have to pay him back for this" he said pointing at his eyepatch

Three other leopards appeared beside him and that's when I remembered this guy. I clawed at his eye in a fight and left him to die in a ditch

"Ohhh now I remember. I thought you died. Gotta say though your blood tasted the worst" I said spitting in his face

After that I grabbed Legosi's hand and ran with him

"Do you know those guys?!" he asked

"Were you not listening?!"

We continued to run but felines are faster than canines. But I was much faster on all fours

"Hop on my back!"

He did without question and wrapped his arms around my neck. I got on all fours and ran as fast as I could. I managed to break line of sight with them and hid in a restroom. They were still in the area so I pushed Legosi in a stall with me. We were in there for a few minutes until I decided the coast was clear. The adrenaline started to wear off as I realized the situation we were in

"A stall scene? Classic"

He looked confused as to what I meant. I put my hands under his shirt and pushed him against the stall

"Wh-what are you doing Y/N??"

I ignored him as I started to lightly bite on his neck. And I caught myself wanting to bite harder to the point he would bleed. His blood would have to be the best in the world but I snapped out of my thoughts and desires

"I-Im sorry Legosi. I took it too far" I said not making eye contact with him

"I-I-Its fine! L-lets just go to the dorm" he said flustered as hell

As we walked out he had something to say

"I-I wouldn't mind being your h-husband"

"Awww. So what? Are we dating now?"

"Yup as long as you don't talk to Bill"

"You saw that? Trust me I will only have platonic feelings towards him"

-The next day-
I woke up before Legosi and decided to surprise him. I quietly snuck into his bed and got on top of him. He didn't wake up even though I was heavier than him

"Le-" I was going to say but...

"Legosi wake up we have to-" Jack opened the curtains

Legosi woke up and immediately understood the situation as he laid in shock

"Ok listen. I know how this looks but I was only waking him up" I explained

The rest of the canines poked their heads in the bed to see what was happening

"I know Voss told them to do it in the bed but I never thought they would" Durham said

I started to get annoyed. I growled, barred my fangs, and snapped at them. They all quickly left the room

"*Sigh* Well you should get up class starts soon" I said getting off him

"O-okay"

At drama club I could tell the festival was coming together. The herbivores were finally allowed to join us and everyone decided to just hang out there. It was around 8 when people started leaving but they were stopped by a blackout. I could tell it wasn't normal. This was definitely caused and had some intent behind it

"Be ready to defend yourselves!" I yelled to everyone

Herbivores couldn't see in the dark unilke us carnivores so all the carnivores formed a circle around the herbivores. I stood by Legosi but he suddenly grabbed me and started running

"Aoba watch these guys! We have to go see something" he yelled

He pulled me along and I decided not to ask questions. We eventually met up with Haru. He was searching for her

"Louis! I knew you would come back for me!" she said grabbing onto my leg

The lights turned back on and she realized I wasn't Louis

"Y/N! So you came to help me sorry for mistaking you"

"Nah that was all Legosi. He's your knight in shining armor"

She went over to hug him as I just watched. They started talking as I thought about who or what caused the blackout. But I could just be paranoid due to that leopard recognizing me

-Y/N POV-
Me and Legosi were walking through the park the festival was going to take place at. We didn't have classes today so why not? We were walking in a peaceful silence until I picked up the scent of multiple people. I managed to pick up the smallest hint of Haru's scent

"Hey Haru is up ahead wanna go see her?" I asked

"Yeah let's go"

We walked over to the group of students but something was off. As we approached the group I saw that they had Haru's shoe and a familiar card.

"No..."

"What is it?" Legosi asked

"Ummm...here let's get in this tree"

We climbed up the tree and stood on different branches

"Why are we up here?" he asked

"Sshh. Focus on listening to that group"

The group of kids knew who the card belonged to as well. The Shishigumi, a group of yakuza lions. And they came to the same conclusion that Haru was kidnapped by them. They mayor appeared and he just so happens to be a lion as well. He said he would handle it and the students have him the card and shoe. Only for him to rip the card up and toss the shoe to the side

I knew Haru was one of Legosi's bestfriends and I wanted to cut that lion down for doing that but the only thing protecting him was his mayor status

"C'mon we're gonna find Louis" Legosi said in a low tone

We looked around for about an hour and found him at the mayor's office which was suspicious. Legosi told him he had to save Haru since she loved him but he replied by punching Legosi. I punched him and he fell to the ground. I went over and pressed my forearm against his throat

"Play nice my little fawn. You could end up losing your life"

Legosi pulled me off him

"C'mon we'll find her ourselves" he said already leaving

As I walked away I glared at Louis and he returned it with his own. We ran for a little bit until we got to where Legosi wanted to go

"The ghetto huh? Hopefully I won't see my dad here..." I said

"We have to gather information on their gang"

"Ok but we'll have to be discreet. I have my hoodie to cover my face so I won't be recognized. You should probably cover your face so you won't be remembered"

He cover his mouth with his shirt. We looked around and eavesdropped when we could and eventually found some people talking about it. They were sitting down ordering meat. Me and Legosi sat on the table next to them and listened. But Legosi made it too obvious he was eavesdropping by pointing his ears up.

"Legosi" I whispered but he was too focused

"Put your ears down!" I whisper yelled (We've all done this)

The guys noticed us and pulled knives out. One went around me and pulled my hoodie off

"The Bloodstained Wolf is back in the ghetto huh? I wonder how much I could get for killing you right here"

They pushed us into an alley. The one who took my hood off was especially cocky swaying the knife in my face. In one quick motion I snatched the knife from him. I grabbed his arm and put him in front of me as I held the knife up to his neck from behind

"I suggest you tell your friend to stop before I slit your throat" I whispered to him

Before he could say anything to the friend who was still holding Legosi up a arrow shot his shirt and pinned him to the wall. I kicked the guy I had in the back of the knee and forced him to kneel

Wait...an arrow...and it was purposely aimed to not be lethal. Only one person does this kind of stuff in the ghetto. I turned around to see Gouhin. He walked passed me and pulled the arrow out of the wall freeing the other guy. I took the knife and stabbed into the owners shoulder and kicked him forward and he ran off too

"If I casually walk away maybe he'll forget about me" I thought to myself

I turned around and started walking and my hoodie was immediately pulled back and I was hit by his crossbow

"OW DAMN IT! What the hell are you doing?!"

"I thought I told you to NOT come back here!" Gouhin said

He hit me with the crossbow again

"And I said call me not text me!"

"Yeah yeah. Look, we need information on the ShiShigumi. I already know where they are just tell me if their numbers increased or not" I said rubbing my head

He completely ignored me and went over to Legosi

"I thought I said to avoid him. Now look where he has you"

"Actually sir I brought him here. We need to get to the ShiShigumi" Legosi replied

Gouhin looked back at me and sighed

"They have 35 members now. No way two canines can take on that many felines"

"I'm sure I can handle it. They probably feel secure with that many numbers. Not to mention they're lions so they'll be cocky. We'll use that against them. C'mon Legosi"

"Wait. You've always been a damn schemer and I can't just let my son go out there to die. I'll go with to even the numbers" Gouhin said

"Are you sure you can handle it? You're not twe-"

He hit me...again

"Shut up! C'mon!"

We made it to the ShiShigumi hideout. The gate had the bodies of dead animals hanging from it. I remember I used to do jobs for these guys by kidnapping other animals. I can't let Legosi or Gouhin figure out about that. It was raining and the smell of the water was messing with my nose so I couldn't tell whether or not any members were close by. But Gouhin and Legosi kept arguing

"Y/N could probably take out a few lions but I'm not sure about you kid. Felines are stronger than canines. All you guys have I jaw strength"

"Bite? I never bit anyone before. I can beat them up right?" Legosi asked

"Hey you guys need to be quiet they might hear us" I said

"Too late"

I turned around to see a lion pointing a gun at us but mostly me

"Guns? You can't even fist fight us first?" I said

I looked back at Gouhin and Legosi back the lion didn't seem to like that. He got closer and pointed the gun in against my forehead. And that's when I picked up Haru's scent on him

"You touched her too didn't you?"

I talked loud enough for Legosi to hear me. The lion pressed the gun harder against my head

"Oh you must be talking about that rabbit. Sorry to say but she is probably already dead" the lion said

That was all he needed to say to trigger Legosi he dashed into the lion and forced the gun to the lions head and shot it. I thought he killed him but he only shot his ear. The lion fell to the ground and he got on top of him. He was going to bite his neck but suddenly hesitated. The lion punched him and I had to finish the job. I pinned him down and held his throat in my mouth. I bit down as hard as I could and pulled my head back. The blood filled my mouth as it sprayed all over my jacket amd fur. The taste was intoxicating. I started to give into my feral instincts. I lapped up the blood that kept pouring out of his neck. I was suddenly pulled back

"SNAP OUT OF IT KID! There's more of them" Gouhin yelled

I looked around and noticed we were surrounded by lions. But I only saw this as a justified reason to kill. I immediately started to attack them. One by one they started to fall. I could feel myself being stabbed, punched, and kicked. But the desire to taste their blood tuned out the pain.

Before I knew it the fight was over and I was licking the blood off my hands. Someone grabbed my shoulder and I thought it was another lion. I turned around and tried to bite their neck but they blocked the bite with their own hand

"Look at you. I thought you were stronger than this"

It was Gouhin. I realized what I just did and immediately snapped out of it. I let go of his hand

"I-Im sorry! I-its just t-that with the whole l-lion thing and the b-b-blood"

I was stuttering too much and I couldn't stop. My heart rate only got faster and my breaths were heavier. The fact that I bit Gouhin only made me panic

-Gouhin POV-
Damn he can bite hard

I've never seen him like this. Like I told the other wolf. When a carnivore gives into their feral instincts they can't get out of them. But Y/N just snapped out of it the second he realized it was me. I placed my hand on his shoulder

"It's ok Y/N. Go help that other wolf. He already went inside"

He nodded and ran off on all fours. I looked at my hand to see the damage he did

"Asshole..." I whispered to myself

-Y/N POV-
With the blood all over me it took a second to pick up Legosi's scent but I managed to find it. I smelled him, Haru, and another lion. I followed it to a room and inside I saw the lion biting on Legosi's arm. I went over and clawed at his face to let go of him. The second he did I knocked him in his back and pinned him down. I repeatedly bit at his neck and pulled at any flesh I could fit in my mouth, he was nearly decapitated. At the same time I clawed at his stomach to the point I could feel his intestines.

"Y/N STOP! YOU ALREADY KILLED HIM!" Legosi yelled

I looked back at him and he had Haru behind him like he was protecting her from me

"R-relax. I won't hurt anyone you care about"

I tried to step towards them but I instantly felt like shit and was dizzy. I fell to the ground and started to feel the severity of my wounds. Haru and Legosi came to my side

"It's fine. I've been through worse. Let's get out of here before more come"

I got up and saw Legosi was hurt too. I let him lean on me. Back outside I saw just how many lions I took out. The ones Gouhin fought were still alive but tied up. He left a note that said "You're welcome" which made me smile. I noticed that there was a gun on the ground and I picked I up

"What do you need that for?" Legosi asked

"We're two wolves with blood all over us and with a small rabbit. Plus we're injured. It'll be a last resort"

He didn't argue with me after that and I holstered in with the waist of my pants. We walked for awhile aimlessly since we couldn't just go back to the school.

"Pack in the mail, it's gone
She like how I smell, cologne
I just signed a deal, I'm on" I said

Haru and Legosi looked at eachother then back to me

"What? I sing to take my mind off the pain" I explained

"Speaking of which I should patch you guys up. It's the least I can do for saving me" Haru said

We sat at a bench and I told her to do Legosi first as I just hummed to a song I knew. It was pretty late at night and I stared up at the moon

"I'm sorry. I'm the reason you guys got hurt this much" Haru said

"It's fine Haru" I said

"No it's not! Why would you guys go that far for me?!"

"Because you matter to Legosi. If he wants to protect you I'll do it before he does" I said still looking at the moon

Neither of them said anything

"I said something corny huh? Just forget I said anything"

They both started laughing making me embarrassed. Haru asked me to take off my jacket and shirt so she could patch my wounds. Without think about it I did and both her and Legosi stopped laughing. That's when I remembered that my back and chest were badly scarred. My fur was uneven and some scars didn't have hair anymore at all. My arms were the same

"Ugly isn't it?" I asked

Haru stood in front of me shocked. Probably thinking at the fact I was only 17 and my body looks like this. Legosi put his hand in mines

"I don't think it is"

My throat felt like it was burning and my heart ached when he said that. It was a feeling I haven't felt since I was a pup...sadness

"Shut up. C'mon we should all do something. You guys trynna go out to eat?" I asked

I stood up and stretched but the point of stretching was to wipe a year from my eyes. I put my shirt back on leaving my bloody jacket off

"Yeah!" they both said

We went to the closest restaurant.

"I'll just have a beer. You guys order whatever you want. It's on me"

They both got yakisoba noodles. And I gave our waiter a fake ID with a credit card. Again, Haru and Legosi were staring at me

"What has you guys more concerned? The card or ID?" I asked them

"Both!" they both said

"I saved the money I got from jobs and stealing from since I was a kid. And it's not hard getting a fake ID in the ghetto" I explained

The waiter came back with my drink and their food. We all talked about random things do awhile until Legosi asked me if I had any money left

"Yeah why?"

"We should get a hotel. I'll pitch in" he said

"What would we do in a hotel?" I asked with a wink

"I uhh..."

"Don't worry I have a place we can go"

"Where?" Haru asked

"It's a surprise"

-Legosi POV-
We left the restraunt and followed Y/N to wherever he was taking us. We ended up going into the city and we got a few stares due to me and Y/N's beat up states. He took us to a very expensive looking hotel. No way I could afford this. We followed him up to the counter

"Ah Mr. L/N we haven't seen you in awhile" the receptionist said

"Yeah me and my friends here are just going to head up" Y/N said

She dismissed us and we all got into a elevator

"Ummm Y/N? What are we doing here?" Haru asked

"Just wait" he said

We got out of the elevator and followed him to a door. He reached in his pockets and pulled out a key and we went inside. He walked right in as me and Haru were awestruck

"Th-this is...A PENTHOUSE!!" we both yelled

"Yuup. Make yourselves at home" he said plopping down on a couch

It was huge to say the least

"If you guys get hungry...or I mean thirsty that entire fridge is filled with fruit punch sodas" he said

I ran over to the couch he was at

"Forget the sodas! How I this place yours?" I asked

"Like I said earlier. I've been doing particular jobs since I was a kid. And I often stole from people but the work I got was what paid the most" he said

"What kind of jobs?" I asked

"Ummm...Just come sit with me" he said

-Y/N POV-
Haru said she was going to bed so I showed her the bedroom she could use leaving me and Legosi

"Soo what do you wanna watch?" I asked him

"Actually I wanted to ask you a few things" he replied

Fuck

"Fire away"

"What are those jobs you keep mentioning?"

"I uh..."

"Tell me please"

"Kidnapping, killing, threatening, backstabbing, stealing. I did it all if the price was right"

He didn't say anything

"Me and nine other wolves made a group. I was the youngest at eleven but I was the most competent. We called ourselves the 27 club. Like all those famous people who died at that age. Based off what we were doing we didn't think we'd make it pass that age either"

I started to tear up

"We had issues huh? We really made a group about us dying young.....I miss them"

Legosi put his hand in mine again

"What... happened to them?" he asked

"Exactly what we thought would happen. Once our name got around for the stuff we did some other gangs decided to test us. Out of nowhere they jumped three of us. I wasn't there but we completely lost contact with those three only to find their bodies mangled to hell. The rest of us decided to do the same back to avenge them. We saw a pretty big group of the rival gang and went to attack them but we didn't expect them to have guns. Thanks to the other wolves protecting me I was the only one left alive. But I was shot a few times. Heh I remember Gouhin was furious that day"

I looked over at him and saw the expression on his face was sad.

"Awww c'mere I didn't mean to bum you out" I said wrapping my arm around his neck

"Sooo what now? I would say sex but I don't think I can with my body like this" I said

"We could go to sleep"

"Yeah c'mon there's another bedroom"

We got into the bed together and didn't say anything to eachother. It was quiet but it wasn't awkward. Peaceful even

-Legosi POV-
When I woke up I immediately wanted to go back to sleep because the bed was so comfy. But I had to get up. Once I sat up I noticed Y/N wasn't in the bed anymore and there was a faint smell of smoke. I got up and left the bedroom. I saw Y/N smoking a cigarette flipping through channels on the TV while Haru was sitting in the kitchen drinking a soda

"Damn Legosi you're not exactly a early bird huh?" Y/N asked

"What time is it?" I asked

"11:32 we were waiting for you to get up so we can go back to school" Haru said

I ran back to the room and got my tank top. When I went back Y/N was still smoking and I didn't know he even did smoke

"I didn't know you smoked" I said

"I didn't but being with you is making me have feelings I thought I repressed completely. But the taste sucks I'll stop if you want me too" he said putting it out

"It's fine if it makes you feel better"

"God you're adorable. C'mon let's head back

-Y/N POV-
We left the penthouse I still can't believe I own and made our way to the school. On the way there we passed where the festival I going to be held and decided to stop there. Haru still went towards the school and Legosi told her to be careful

"Thanks for saving me you guys!! And thanks for the night of luxury!" she yelled running off

On our way there I lit a cigarette and started smoking. These things really are addicting but hopefully they would take my mind of the blood of those lions. When we got there Juno, Bill, Dom, and Els were there talking about us not being there

"Speak of the devil" I said blowing smoke

"Sorry for making you guys worry" Legosi said

"OH MY GOD YOU GUYS...look like shit where were you?" Dom asked

"Saving somone" I said curtly

"Are you okay? You have so many cuts and bruises on you and we and that's just on your arms and face" Juno said examining me

I looked over at Legosi and he had a guilty look on his face. Probably because he feels like it's his fought since he asked me to help him

"I'm fine. I've been through worse" I said blowing smoke

"So what happened? You guys had a threesome with that rabbit?" Bill said placing his arm around my neck

I glared at him and so did Legosi. I grabbed his arm and digged my nails into it and pulled it off me

"I don't know if you can be my best friends anymore"

"Ow ow ow don't say that. I was just kidding"

"C'mon let's go back to school and see the nurse" I said to Legosi putting the cigarette out

We went back to the school and was immediately approached by our dorms housemother. She escorted us to the nurse while lecturing us about curfew on the way there. The nurse stitched up Legosi first since he only needed his arm did. But me on the other hand had to sit for about two hours getting stitched

"If you came any later you might've got a infection...and I don't think you should be smoking" she said leaving the room

I looked at the multiple stitches on my arm

"Gouhin could do better"

I looked at Legosi and he had that guilty look again

"Legosi if you feel like you caused this, don't. To be honest I had fun getting Haru back with you" I said with smile

"Wh-whatever just hurry up and heal"

(Skipping the actual festival since I lost interest and the manga picks up ALOT after it sooo in short.... Juno calls you up with her and says you helped Haru yourself. You take the mic and say it was both you and Legosi. He runs off saying you and Juno are a better couple. But you say something dumb like "Legosi I'm not sure I you knew but I'm gay" he laughs you laugh and leave the festival together)

-Y/N POV-
I woke up to the sound of Jack yelling which was annoying. Apparently he was trying to wake up Legosi but he bit him in his sleep. They got up and went to brush their teeth and I decided to join them. I looked at my teeth in the mirror and noticed they got a few shades darker. I looked at the stitches on my arms and sighed. It was only us three since the other three went back to their families for summer break

"Why didn't you go back home Y/N?" Jack asked

(Flashback of Gouhin yelling at you)

"Uhhh...its complicated"

We walked around for awhile just talking about whatever came to mind. But Jack had a obvious question that Legosi didn't pick up on

"What did you guys this summer?"

"I... didn't get to eat any watermelons" Legosi said

"What? No. He wants to know if we fucked or not. And sadly the answer is no"

They both had embarrassed expressions as they looked away from me. Legosi was the first to talk and he acted like I didn't say anything in the first place

"L-lets all go shopping"

"Y-yeah!" Jack said

"Whatever"

-3 months later-
Since we rescued Haru alot has happened. Louis is dropping out, Juno is a symbol for carnivores at our school now, and I haven't made any advances on Legosi yet...what's wrong with me.

Legosi was on cleaning duty for the drama club and I just hung out with him on my phone. He decided to take out the trash and I followed. But we both started to hear something

"You hear that too right?" He asked

"Yeah and I can't pinpoint where it's coming from... weird. Let's go back to the dorm"

We kept hearing the sound and I could feel someone staring at me. I started to think someone from the ghetto found out I went here. But whoever has been hiding out has been patient and have been watching me and Legosi for the past four days. Legosi tried to ask whether or not the other canines can hear the noise and feel the stares. Collot brought up some ghost story but I backed up Legosi and said I heard it too. Jack said we were just paranoid from our fight with the Shishigumi. Legosi agreed with him but punched a hole in the wall

"Not bad but I can do better" I said admiring it

"Do you want to come with me to get the toolbox? I have to do laundry anyway"

"Yeah let's go"

We left the other canines and went to the laundry room. I was on my phone while Legosi did everything

"You can come out now. It's only us" I said to whoever's been watching us

A fat ass snake fell from the ceiling

"I've been watching you two for awhile and there isn't anything I don't know about you guys" she said

"What do we do, Legosi? Do we attack?" I asked

"Well she hasn't made a move on us let's just see where this goes" he replied

"HEY! Anyway...if you guys think you're going to live the rest of your school life in peace. You're in for a terrible surprise" she said mad from us ignoring her

"Hold that thought. Gotta get the laundry" Legosi said

I followed him and sat on one of the machines

"So you say you know everything about us but I doubt that" I said

"Trust me I know about you Bloodstained Wolf" she said

"Ok that has to be clear indication that she means harm" I said to Legosi

"Wait. You'll have your fun when she attacks first"

"I like it when you talk like that"

"Looks like I dropped my hat on the floor when I fell!" she said trying to get our attention

She put on a hat that sent a chill down my spine

"I'm the security of this school. My name is Rokume" she said

Security guard? Why now?

"A security guard huh?..." I asked

As she went to answer my question I ran straight for the door

"Damnit! I can't be caught. I'll probably be put to death if she knows all my crimes" I thought

Just as I was going to reach the door my body was suddenly restricted. She wrapped herself around me. I immediately went to bite her but Legosi stopped me

"Wait Y/N!! She isn't hurting you only stopping you" he said

"D-DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY'LL DO TO ME IF IM CAUGHT?" I asked him becoming more and more panicked

"Two wolves in love but they couldn't be anymore different" she said

"One's heart is pure and bright and it only gets more brighter the more it's hurt. The others heart is scarred and dark and only grows more reckless and merciless each time it's hurt. Two sides of the same coin" she said

"L-LEGOSI WHAT DO I DO? DO I A-ATTACK OR NOT?" I asked still panicking

"And it seems that the scarred wolf only seems to listen to it's counterpart. What has caused this?" she asked

She finally let go of me and slithered out of the room. Legosi started chasing her and I did the same. She led us to where the student was killed the day before I came here. Legosi said I couldn't hurt her so I kept my distance but he went over to examine a bouquet that wasn't there before. Rokume explained that the culprit is still out there and is probably pretending to be a friendly face. And that she wanted the both of us to look for them

"A-avenge him? I dunno..." I said

"I...want to do it Y/N. But if you don't want to I won't either" Legosi said

"Wh-whatever. But what'll you do if the culprit ends up dead?" I asked the snake

"Surely it'll be because of self defense right?" she asked

"Yeah we're doing this. I need some action anyway" I said finally calming down

"Say less. C'mon Legosi" I said

We left the snake in the hallway but she probably went back into the ceiling

"So where are we going?" Legosi asked

"Oh I don't know. I kind of wanted to get away from that snake"

"..."

"She not only wants us to find the murderer but we have no information about them besides the fact they killed Tem. I'm no good with detective work" I said

"Well Tem was in drama club. And there are quite a few carnivores that knew him so let's start there"

We walked to drama club and did our work as usual but Legosi decided to bring up the investigation in the male dressing room.

"...meat" is all he said

Everyone turned to him and I pulled him by his waist into me

"Legosi if that's what you wanted you should've said so. You're being to direct already" I whispered the last part

I let go him and he went right back to being direct

"Tem talked to quite a few carnivores in this club right?" he asked

"What are you mumbling about?! What the hell is wrong with you?! You not only bring up Tem but suspect us too?" Bill asked

I sighed and watched to see how this would play out

"I'm only bringing it up since we carnivores should keep it in mind" Legosi replied

"I don't trust anything from a no good bunny fucking wolf" Bill said as he slowly made his way to me

"Why don't you just ditch this asshole and be with me?" he asked

"Shut up and get away from me"

Before be could say anything everyone noticed the smell of a herbivore

"Knock knock is this the guys changing room?" A sheep asked

One look at him and all I saw was asshole

"Aren't you bold. I don't think it's wise to enter a room of carnivores by yourself little sheep" I said provoking him

"Hehehe excuse me doggy" he said trying to push me out of the way

I didn't move but gave him a smile since I couldn't bare my fangs (Insert Gyro Zeppeli "GOGO" smile)

He looked at my red stained teeth and froze. Legosi elbowed my back and I stopped showing them. And the sheep immediately tried to change the subject

"I-I see you have stitches. How many?" he asked

Everyone was just watching seeing how I will react

"106" I said glaring at him

"I'll be leaving now it's clear that I'm not wanted here"

He left and the room was quiet for a few seconds until Legosi hit me

"What did you smile like that for?!" he asked

"I needed to show him that he could suffer the same fate as other people who fucked with me"

I realized what I said and looked around the room

"But the red is from sodas though...heh"

Everyone didn't seem to care and just continued changing. We went to go see the head of the club only for him to introduce that sheep to the group as the newest member. Legosi saw me growing more and more annoyed and pulled me to the side to avoid the drama. I managed to ignore everything the sheep had to say but something caught my ears

"Day after day carnivores lose the shine in their eyes by being consumed by their desires and instincts. They're just not beautiful"

I was going to rip all the wool from his body but Legosi stopped me and made me sit back down. I tried to calm down but that damned sheep put his arms around us but looked at me

"Didn't Tem die the day before you came here? And the star actor is dropping out. And both of these wolves have injuries. But you seem more humble than red teeth over here. So how did you get your stitches?" he asked

Bill pulled me and Legosi from him

"Both of them have always been good carnivores and they wouldn't kill anyone" Bill said surprisingly defending us

-Two hours later-
Bill asked us to join some carnivore meeting on the rooftop and me and Legosi saw this as the perfect way to get some clues

"Who do you think it is?" he whispered to me

"Can't tell but I realized this person must be alot more dangerous than we expected"

"How so?"

"When a carnivore kills for meat they undergo a mental change and become completely feral. Which is something I've done but I like to think myself as stable. Gouhin called me a rare case but they would mean the suspect is too. They can flip a switch and turn feral whenever they want then come back to us and smile like nothing happened...I'm being a hypocrite aren't I?"

"What're you two whispering about?" Bill asked

"Nothing important. Anyway what do we do here?" I asked

"...wait you guys were talking about that threesome with that bunny huh?"

Once he said that all of the other carnivores in drama club leaned in

"Can a rabbit even handle one large breed carnivore?"

"I know right? So how did they both do it?"

"Did they take turns?"

I looked over at Legosi and he was messing with his nose. I grabbed him and we left. We sat in one of the window sills of the outside hallway

"We still have no clue who could have done it. We can't even find out their species. They managed to kill someone in the school and left zero evidence behind" I said becoming annoyed

Legosi grabbed my chin and pulled me to look at him

"This isn't like you. Usually I-"

I was cut off by him kissing me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer. We made out for a few seconds until I had a realization. I pulled away from him

"Wait aren't you sick?" I asked

It took him a few seconds to register what I said but when he did his face turned to one of shock

"...I FORGOT!! IM SORRY" he yelled

"It's fine Legosi. I haven't been sick in years so I like to think my immune system is pretty good"

"But I didn't think you'd kiss me first. I thought I would have to"

He just sat there embarrassed

"C'mon let's go to the dorm"

"Actually I'm gonna stay here for awhile" he said

"Oh well don't stay out too late. And watch your back"

I left him as he stayed in the same spot staring at the moon

-Next day-
"Y/N wake up you're snoring too loud"

I got up and tried to breathe through my nose but I couldn't. My nose was stuffed and it seems like I was snoring really loud since everyone was up with tired looks

"I think I jinxed myself" I said getting out of the bed

"You guys could've woke me up sooner if you couldn't stand it"

"Yeah but you're kind of scary! We had Jack wake you up since you seem to be closer to him than the rest of us" Collot said

I looked around and saw Legosi wasn't around. He must have already left to do something

"I wouldn't hurt any of you. I see you guys as friends"

"Awwww" they all said together

My phone started ringing as they all made fun of me for showing a soft side. It was Legosi. When I answered it there was some kind of noise. Jack managed to pick up the sound and said it was Legosi's nose making a noise from running. He grabbed a box of tissues and told me to follow him to find Legosi. I had no sense of smell whatsoever and it made me paranoid. We were walking in silence but Jack came to a sudden stop

"What's wrong?" I asked

He didn't answer me but instead started running. I chased after him. Even though my nose was stuffed all I could smell was blood and it made me extremely worried. I followed the smell as best as I could passing Jack. And just like I feared the smell of blood was coming from Legosi

-Legosi POV-
I heard someone rush over to me at a lightning speed. It was definitely Y/N since it sounded like they were on all fours. Once he was by me he immediately sat me up

"LEGOSI! ARE YOU OKAY?" he asked

"Yeah I'm-"

"Please I can't lose you too"

He started crying and his arms were trembling. I never thought I would see him like this. I reached my hand to his face to wipe away his tears

"I said I was okay"

He started wagging his tail and removed the bindings on me. He hugged me pretty tightly and I winced in pain

"S-sorry" he said

When I looked around I noticed Jack was there too

"What happened to you Legosi?" he asked

"He attacked me. They must've known I was sick and that narrows the list down. Jack you need to go back to the dorm it's not safe out here. Also I won't be here at the school for a little while" I said getting up

"I won't ask who "he" is or why you need to leave the school. Just make sure you come back. You too Y/N" Jack said walking back to the dorm

"I promise!" I yelled out him

He stopped for a second then continued walking. I looked back at Y/N

"So how worried were you?" I asked

"Shut up and let's go. Where are we even going?" he asked

I was thinking about having Gouhin train me but I knew that he would be against it

"We're going to the ghetto to see if we can get any information about Cherryton students"

"Ok but I'm gonna go grab another jacket and my backpack real quick" he said leaving

-Y/N POV-
I met back up with Legosi and we both left heading for the ghetto. I didn't want Gouhin to recognize me if he was walking around so put my hood over my head and lit a cigarette. It started raining so I gave Legosi my other jacket

"X...O?" he asked

The jacket was black with "XO" in white on the back and a heart acting as a apostrophe in between them. My jacket I had was the same but the colors were reversed

"Yeah. Never heard of it?" I asked

"Can't say I have"

"Regardless you look good in my clothes. Plus we match" I said blowing smoke

We walked around the ghetto for a bit until he said he needed to buy something. I followed him and he went to buy some bamboo

"Y'know you could just ask me if I was okay to see Gouhin" I said putting a cigarette to my mouth

Legosi looked at me or atleast I thought he was. Turns out he was looking above me. Someone took the cigarette from my hand when I noticed. I turned around and was going to punch whoever it was but stopped when I realized it was Gouhin

"I thought I taught you better than to smoke" he said flicking my cigarette away even though he had one himself

"Like father like son. But I was just leaving. Y'know school stuff and all"

I turned around and was going to walk away but he put me in a headlock

"You need stuff from here for school? You could atleast try to lie better"

I didn't even try to fight back since I know it's damn near impossible to break free from him.

"I see you brought your friend again. So what are you really doing here?" he asked

"Well first that's my boyfriend and second I think he came here to ask you something"

"I didn't know you were capable of love. What did you want to ask me?" he said letting go of me

"I-I want you to train me Gouhin. I need to be stronger"

"Train with Gouhin? It's a little harsh you think you can handle it?" I asked him

"I have no choice but too"

-Y/N POV-
Gouhin didn't say anything besides telling us to follow him back to his place. He took us into an all too familiar room. Legosi explained the whole situation about the murderer and how Rokume told us to find them. Gouhin seemed hesitant at first but he randomly agreed to. He told Legosi to sit in a specific seat. And when he did Gouhin pushed a button and Legosi was instantly strapped to the seat. The Berserk Patient chair is what he called it.

"If you want me to train you then you'll have to come in and out of the ghetto. And the new ShiShigumi might recognition you" he said pulling out a curved blade

Legosi struggled and I couldn't help him. Gouhin went to work and cut most of his hair off making him look like a fox

"And done" Gouhin said releasing him

Legosi got up the second he was free to see himself in the mirror

"You're up, Y/N" Gouhin said pointing to the chair

"B-But everyone around here already knows me based off my teeth and scars. There really isn't a point in doing this" I said trying to convince him

"In. The. Chair"

I stopped arguing and did as he said

"The fur on my face is the only good fur I got left" I said still trying to stop him

"Sorry kiddo we have to cut it"

I sighed and let him do it. On the bright side my fur was going to be even but scars that were visible are now more seeable and hidden ones were now shown

"I...didn't know you had this many..." Gouhin said

"Me neither Y/N..."

Legosi handed me the mirror. It wasn't as bad as I thought but it was worse than they thought. I didn't want them to pity me so I put on an ignorant act

"Cool" I said looking at myself

They both cracked small smiles seeing me "okay" with it.

"Now that's out the way we can start with you guys training. Follow me"

He took us to an empty room with a huge slab of meat in the middle. He wanted to test if we'd give into our urges but eating meat was always gross to me

"Y'know this isn't doing anything for me right? And I wanted to work on my physical strength anyway"

"Ah that's right you've always been a weird case. Stay here"

He left for awhile and I could tell he was on his way back by the smell of blood. He had a cup with him and it was filled to the brim. He sat it in the room then came back out

"There. You'll both sit in there and test your resistance. No talking to eachother either"

"I'm pretty s-sure I can control myself" I said to him

"Then why did you stutter?"

"I-"

"Get in. Both of you"

I went in and sat a good distance from the cup. Gouhin was underestimating me even after all the countless times we did this. We sat in front of our desires for 7 hours each day for the next week. After we finished the week Legosi said we should go back to school. Our schedule was to go to school in the morning to evening and back to Gouhin's from night to sunrise

On our way back to the school I started smoking again

"Does that help with your feral instincts?" Legosi asked

"Nope not I the slightest. I just like the way the smoke looks. It's... calming"

Back at the school me and Legosi got a bunch of stares. Especially me since I was still smoking and the scars on my face. We went to the our dorm and was met by a bunch of familiar faces

"Uhhh who are you guys? And put that out! We'll get in trouble" Jack said

The rest of the canines seemed to hide behind Jack. Our looks were completely different and the smoke masked our smells so I didn't blame them. I put the cigarette out of the wall and threw it into the trash

"Jack you wound me. Don't you know Y/N and Legosi when you see them?" I asked

"...YOU'RE Y/N!? AND THATS LEGOSI?!" Jack asked

"H-hey guys..." Legosi said

"Are you okay Y/N? You didn't have all those a week ago" Collot asked

"I've been had these don't worry about it. Anyways I would love to stay and all but I have classes"

Like any other school day I went through my classes and met up with Legosi in drama club. When I went in everyone was gathered around him admiring his new look. But when the doors behind me closed everyone turned their attention to me. The girls gasped at me or more like my scars. We're they that bad?

"Y/N?..." Aoba asked

"Yep it's me"

"Why do you smell like that? Since when did you smoke" Bill asked

"I don't"

I didn't say anything else to anyone and just started doing my job as stagehand. Bill started explaining some game to some herbivores but Aoba said that it was a carnivore secret even though I never heard of it. It's just tug o war with our jaws. And even though Aoba just told him it was a secret he wanted to do it to show the herbivores. He said he was going first and that he wanted to play against Legosi

"Watch me" Bill said to me

They had a start timer and the second it went off Legosi lost. Bill tried to show off to me but I had to see what was wrong with Legosi. When I went to his side I noticed he bit an apple or atleast tried to. There was barely a mark on it. But I remembered this happened to me awhile ago but can't remember why

"Hey let's go see Gouhin maybe he has an answer" I said

When we met up with him before we could tell him what was wrong he said we should go out to a bar. Once there I ordered a few shots of whatever the strongest thing they had. Which turned out to be vodka. I've never done stuff like this why am I now? I took them and the burn down my neck was actually a calming feeling. I craved it. I realized that Gouhin and Legosi were staring at me

"What?" I asked

"I don't think I like how you're turning out. You took that way too easily for a teenager. Have you done it before?" Gouhin asked

I looked over at Legosi and he seemed to be waiting for a answer

"Nope first time" I said throwing back another

Legosi explained to him his lack in jaw strength as I kept ordering shots. After nine Gouhin stopped me and I just sat quietly. Gouhin then told us about a hyena that was in the bar and that he has completely given into his feral instincts. He said that he needed to capture him so that's what we left to do. We ended up on a rooftop above the hyena. He put a muzzle on Legosi and pushed him off the railing. I stood on it to see how Legosi would do. I thought I was going to fall since my balance wasn't exactly the best after the shots

"C'mon Legosi! Show him wolves aren't just about jaw strength!" I said cheering him on and giving him a hint

-Gouhin POV-
I expected Y/N to say something about me pushing Legosi off, but nothing. What is going on with him? He's now smoking and drinking. Maybe he did have some kind of mental change. But why would it be this late?

"Hey, Gouhin" he said

"Yeah?"

"Remember that group I was in?"

"Yeah"

Something was definitely wrong he never talks about that

"Why didn't I die? Why did a pack of feral wolves protect me? Did they pity me since I was the youngest? Aren't I feral myself?"

He wasn't facing me and he still stood tall but he was crying. I haven't seen him cry in years, since I first found him.

"I can't tell you why Y/N. I'm just glad you did make it out"

He turned his head to the side and I saw half of his face. His eyes met mine and all I could see was sadness in his. He snapped his head back to the fight

"I know the group was made to be a group of wolves on a path destined to die. But why does it hurt so much? I haven't felt anything since then so why now?"

"Wait...my bad I shouldn't just dump this all on you" he added

After he said that I realized he didn't stutter at all. He usually does when he does get in touch with his feelings. Liquid courage. Looks like he's an emotional drunk. I joined by the railing to see how Legosi was doing. When I got there he had just slammed the guy into a wall. Now that I was closer to Y/N I could hear him humming. Legosi looked up at us and we both gave him a thumbs up. We all went back to my place

The next day Y/N said he had a hangover so I gave him some pain killers. He didn't seem to remember last night so I didn't ask him about it. And just like that they left to their school

Chapter Text

-Y/N POV-
I was working with Legosi in drama club but I was kind of out of it due to my hangover. I just hoped I didn't smell like smoke or alcohol. I was mindlessly helping Legosi until my nose was filled with the sweet intoxicating smell of blood. I was kind of glad Gouhin put me through the resistance training. I looked behind me and some panther ripped Kibi's arm clean off. I was pretty neutral about it but the yelling coming from him and the other herbivores just made my headache worse. Legosi didn't seem to be bothered too much by the situation either which was low-key a turn on. Everyone was running around as I kept my eye on one specific person. Aoba tried to help him to the nurse but he refused help from a carnivore but...

"I want Legosi and Y/N to take me" Kibi said

"Are you sure? I'm not exactly a-" I was cut off

"SHUT UP AND GO" Bill yelled

Legosi picked him up and I went to grab his hand but Riz did instead

I went with them to the nurse. Legosi went inside the nurses office alone to drop Kibi off leaving me and Riz alone. I looked at him and he only smiled.

"You're pretty bold aren't you? I guess you can do that as a bear"

"But I didn't think you were bold enough to kill Tem" Legosi said coming out of the nurses office

The way he finished my sentence was perfect if only other people saw it. Legosi told me about the whole kiss and water bottle thing awhile ago. But the fact he was one of the two people who were calm when Kibi's arm was taken off was the icing on the cake

"The two wolf lovers figured me out huh? I guess I have no choice but to kill them both" Riz said

He looked like he grew twice in size. He reached for the ceiling and put deep scratches into it. He was trying to assert his dominance by doing that but I didnt falter. I pulled out the gun I've been saving and pointed it right at his head. His expression immediately disappeared and he seemed to be sweating

"What's wrong Riz? I thought you were going to kill us?? You hesitated with that whole ceiling thing and hesitation WILL lead to death" I said

I slowly started to squeeze the trigger and all I needed was the tiniest twitch from my finger and the bullet would've been shot

"Ugh. I'm tried of waiting. Excuse me!" Pina said

He walked right in between the gun and Riz. I let go of the trigger but didn't lower the gun. He went into the nurses office and came back

"I just needed to drop of Kibi's bag. You guys can continue. I won't tell a soul" he said walking away

Legosi stopped him from moving and started saying something to him but I didn't pay attention. I kept the gun pointed on Riz's forehead waiting for him to move. But Pina came to my side and had me lower the gun

"I'm not gonna ask why you have that. But let's all talk this out like civilized animals"

And just like that the four of us were in the library sitting together at a square table.

"All right this is a peaceful discussion so don't look at me like a predator Riz" Pina said

I had put the gun in my jacket pocket but I had my hand on it the whole time. I couldn't let Riz get the upper hand at all

"I'm...nervous" Riz replied

"I bet you are. Three students know what you did. How will you sleep?" Pina asked

"Pina, I must kill you" Riz said bluntly

I nearly broke out into a laugh. He couldn't be dumb enough two commit two murders in the same place which is also basically his home. That confirmed that he didn't have underworld connections

"Awww isn't that just adorable. Surely you're not that dumb Riz" I said pulling on his cheek

He didn't reply and Legosi was surprised that I did that. Pina explained to him the same thing I thought. After that the three of us left Riz. Outside Legosi thanked Pina for defusing the situation while I sat next to him smoking. We gave him our numbers and Legosi had me smell a pen of his to remember his scent

(Skipping to Riz saying what Tao did was unforgivable. Should I stop skipping like this? Comment so I know whether or not to stop)

"It was a accident but he still hurt Kibi. It's a terrible crime to be careless around herbivores" Riz said

I didn't bother me much but it definitely bothered Legosi. He ended up smashing one of the lights. I had to match his energy and I followed behind him as we approached Riz.

"Tell me Riz. Tell me how guilty Tao is for his crimes" he said in a very cold tone

Legosi put his arms against his chest but Riz grabbed them. I was going to punch him but Pina tried defusing the situation again

"Waaah! Owww! You're so mean!" he said

Everyone turned their attention to him

"I was speaking for the spotlight Legosi broke. Speaking of which you two should calm down. You don't want to cause anymore damage than you already have. Isn't that right Riz?" he added

He made Legosi apologize and say that he would pay for the light. The three of us all went outside to discuss what just happened

"He's playing the whole 'huggable bear' role too hard. How come we6re the only ones that see it?" I asked

"Y'know I my suspicions about you are right. You're not that different from him, Red Teeth" Pina said

"I have a name you know"

Legosi was deep in thought and I don't think he heard what we just said. But after a few seconds of silence he finally spoke up

"I have you guys as my allies and Riz is all alone. How can he be so calm? It's like he's in a completely different world and he knows something I don't"

"What? The fact that he ate someone? It definitely gave him strength and he might be off his pills making him especially scary" I said

"What pills?" Legosi asked with Pina leaning in for a answer

"Bears who grow over two meters tall are required by law to take strength restrainers. But he still might be on them to not cause suspicion" I explained

"... C'mon" Legosi said grabbing me

We ended up going back to the Gouhin's but the second we got there he wanted to go back out. I couldn't just leave him alone so I went with

"What're we doing in the woods?" I asked

"To find insects"

He wants to get stronger but I wasn't sure if bugs would have the same effect as animal meat

"Hey Legosi"

"Hmm?"

"Why do you put up with me? Am I not different from Riz?" I asked

We weren't very different. He gave into his urges and so did I. He acts like he never did and I'm doing the same too. If anything I was much worse. I've killed multiple people to feed my instincts on multiple occasions

"Because I like you Y/N. And you've been trying to change for me. Well you haven't said you have but I've seen it" he said smiling at me

"Ch-change for y-you? Don't flatter yourself"

"When was the last time you attacked someone for blood?" he asked

"...when we were fighting the Shishigumi"

"I've noticed that you do what I say or ask me for permission before you do anything. Which you don't have to do"

"N-no I haven't!"

"I've also noticed you stutter alot when you're flustered or nervous"

Oh god he's reading me like a book

"L-lets just get these damned bugs"

His smile grew wider and he went back to finding bugs. After we got a few we went back to Gouhin's. Once there Legosi had us turn the lights off as he lit candles.

"I didn't think you would start some creepy ass ceremony in my clinic. What's with the candles?" Gouhin said

"Oh I thought the fire would help their souls find heaven" Legosi replied

I sat next to Gouhin across Legosi. We looked at eachother when he said that with the thought "He is too innocent" in our heads. Eating bugs was legal but eating them alive was frowned upon. Legosi picked up bug and stared at it

"Here goes nothing" he said eating it

He chewed and looked like he was going to throw up. He held it back and passed out

"I-Is that supposed to happen?" I asked Gouhin

"Yup. Just give him a few minutes" he said lighting a cigarette

I laid down on my back and stared at the ceiling overlapping my legs

"What do you see in him?" Gouhin asked randomly

"I can't say. His looks? Personality? Pure heart? It probably is his heart. And I subconsciously might want to c-corrupt it with mines"

I didn't look at him but I knew Gouhin was now looking at me

"You think you're 'corrupting' him?" he asked

"Well what else? We're complete opposites. You should ask him what he sees in me instead"

"You're kinda blind aren't you? I think it's the other way around"

He thinks I'm the one changing? I'm pretty sure Legosi had no desire to eat meat before he met me. Now look at him trying to find the most legal way for a carnivore to gain strength. But I guess he is changing me too. A few minutes of silence passed

"I'm sorry kid" Gouhin said

"What for?"

"I shouldn't have kept you here in the ghetto"

He was staring at me so he must've seen my scars and think it's his fault

"It's fine Dad. What I did here was my fault you shouldn't take responsibility for it. To think you would be a big softie"

"Shut up" he said smiling

After that Legosi started waking up. I sat up to see him and he grew all his hair back

"So how do you feel?" I asked

"I...can't even...lift a finger" he replied

"Well all your hair came back atleast" Gouhin said

After Legosi got his strength back we left for the school to stay the night there.

In the morning I was woke up by someone softly saying my name. I thought it was Voss but he wasn't even in the room. I focused my hearing and realized it was Legosi's voice. I got out of bed and poked my head in his. He was saying my name in his sleep and his arms were raised up

"Hey whatcha dreamin about" I said poking him

He opened his eyes and stared at me trying to focus his eyes

"Yeah you kept saying his name like all morning" Collot added

After he said that Legosi pushed our faces out of the bed. I left him alone and decided to bring it up later. I went through all my other classes and i was going to be a little late to drama club due to being slow on writing what was on the board. On my way to drama clubs changing room I smelled Legosi and the iron like smell of blood. It was coming from the boys shower. I saw a janitor walk right pass it. She was a herbivore so she didn't smell the blood.

Once she was out of sight I ran in. Legosi and Riz were clearly fighting. Legosi only had one clear injury while Riz had scratches on his shoulders. They were just talking to eachother while washing the blood from the floor. They didn't seem to notice me so I took this as an opening. I ran as fast as I could to Riz. He heard my footsteps and turned around. I clawed at his neck but he managed to pull his head back so it wouldn't be lethal

"Pick it up. Swing faster and harder" I thought to myself

He went for a downward punch but I managed to dodge it.

"Y/N!" Legosi yelled

After missing that hit he left himself wide open. I dug all ten of my claws into his chest and pulled downward to his stomach. He yelled and I jumped back to Legosi

"Not...bad. Your moves are way too fluent and precise to be those of a regular carnivore" Riz said

"Yeah yeah. You should probably leave before I decide to kill you" I said

He turned around and started leaving but Legosi had something to say before he left

"New Years Eve, Riz. I won't let you continue living like this after the year ends" he said

"New Years Eve huh? That's in ten days from now. I'll be ready to kill you both by then" he said leaving the room

I sighed and looked over at Legosi

"Soooo....?" I asked

"What?"

"Why the hell did you try to fight him yourself?"

"It kind of just happened. It was only us two"

"C'mon let's go see Gouhin"

Gouhin patched up the cuts over his eye but I was worried that they would scar

"Why don't you guys just turn him into the police? It'll be easier that way" Gouhin said

"Well first it'll ruin my reputation if I did. And I will definitely be investigated and definitely arrested" I explained lighting a cigarette

"Gouhin..." Legosi said

"Yeah?"

"I need a disguise to see Louis"

I decided not to question Legosi about it

"Ummm....I think you could use my wife's clothes" Gouhin said

I choked on the smoke and went into a coughing fit. That asshole Gouhin waited for me to calm down

"YOUR WHAT?!" I asked

"Why're you acting surprised? Don't you remember her?" he asked

I thought for a second and didn't remember anything about Gouhin having a significant other

"Maybe you were too young to remember. She always took care of you while I worked" he said

I glared at him and started barring my teeth while growling. Which wasn't the best idea since he hit me in the head pretty hard

"You know better than to bare your teeth at me" he said leaving the room

I sat there contemplating about this wife of his and didn't even notice when he came back. He threw some kind of clothing on my head. I pulled it off and it was a jacket. It was a BAPE jacket at that. It was a camo green with the classic shark on the hoodie

"She got that awhile ago for you. She told me to give it to you when you were 18 but I don't see a problem with giving it to you now" he said

He handed Legosi a 'disguise' and sat back down. He left to go put it on

"Bape is an expensive brand. I'll have to pay her back for it" I said

"Do you want to ask about her?"

"I'll wait until after we fight that bear"

"... Speaking of which I went through your backpack and took that gun"

"Why?" I asked calmly

"Because you don't need it. I'm the weapons guy anyway"

"I've noticed you've been alot softer lately. What's up with that?"

"I can say the same for you"

Legosi came back in his disguise

"How do I look?" he asked

He came back in a dress and make up...

"You...look like...IM SORRY I CANT" I said breaking out laughing

Gouhin started laughing too as Legosi just pouted. I got up after a few seconds

"C'mon let's go find Louis" I said putting on my new jacket

It took us awhile to pick up his scent but we did eventually. He was at a bar with one other lion. Since I didn't have a disguise Legosi went in by himself while I waited outside. After about 20 minutes he ran out and pulled me with him

"What did he say?" I asked

"He laughed!"

"That doesn't mean anything!!"

We started laughing together on our way back to Gouhin's. For the next seven days we trained our physical strength. On new years Eve Legosi took off his bandages revealing a scar. I didn't want him to have any. It was kind of my fault since I couldn't fight Riz with him back then. I wished that I could've took the hit. I couldn't bring myself to say anything about it. We left for the fight with Gouhin saying good luck.

"Okay. It's a two versus one so he'll definitely be off his pills. He'll be slower than usual but his attacks will be alot more lethal. We'll need to-" I was cut off by Legosi kissing me

After a few seconds he pulled away

"W-What was that for?" I asked

"Well we don't know whether or not we'll be able to do it again"

Did he think there was a possibility of us both dying or just him?

"I'll let myself die before I let you"

He smiled slightly but there was definitely sadness hidden behind it. We ran to the fight while I was still thinking about what just happened.

"...he thinks that I'll die saving him huh?" I thought to myself

I decided not to dwell on it too much and just continued running. I could start to smell Riz. I thought he wouldn't even show due to the chance of me having a gun but he seems ballsy. I didn't smell Louis or any herbivores in the area either. The fight was taking place under a bridge. Once we went under that's when we saw him waiting patiently

"Sorry did we keep you waiting?" Legosi asked

"Nope, you guys came just in time" he said

"So when are we starting? I've brought the starting gong with me. You just have to take notice" he added

I knew what he was talking about. It was Pina's blood. But I knew Pina was nearby and he wouldn't be dumb enough to kill him. This was him trying to make us reckless. He unzipped his jacket to show us his shirt covered in blood

"A dall sheep's body is alot to take in. While you guys were doing who knows what a dall sheep lost his life. Pretty boy is dead" Riz said

Legosi was furious and started walking towards him but I stopped him by grabbing his hand

"That's real cute Riz. But do you think making us mad with a lie is going to help you?" I said

Legosi thought for a second and took a deep breath in

"He's in a dump under a bridge two kilometers and a hundred meters away from here. He has a gash on his left arm" Legosi said

Riz was shocked by how precise he was

"Not bad. I didn't get the under the bridge part though. You're fighting canines. A lie like that had zero effect" I said

Legosi got impatient and ran towards Riz with me following behind. Legosi went to punch his face while I went for the stomach. Our attacks hit but Legosi yelled in agony. Riz was biting in his stomach and completely ignored me. I went for another attack but before it could land Riz let go of Legosi and jumped back. He seemed scared. He was wide open. Me and Legosi both went to punch his head and put all the force we could into it. He was now on the ground seemingly unconscious. We started to pull our fists back only for him to grab both of our wrist. He stood back up and held us off the ground

"I won't let either of you ruin my genuine friendship with Tem" Riz said

I spit in his face

"You think Tem let you eat h-" I was cut off by him slamming me on the ground

The pain was excruciating but this is what I needed to really get into this fight. The feeling of pain, the taste of blood in mouth, hearing my heartbeat in my ears. I slowly got up and saw he was slamming Legosi on the ground multiple times.

"Damn it!" I yelled running over to him

-Legosi POV-
I heard Y/N and saw him running over but I also saw Riz smile when he heard him. Riz had his back turned to Y/N and this was definitely a trap

"Y/N WAIT!" I yelled

It was too late. Riz turned around and clawed his face making him fall backwards hitting the ground with a thud. And to top it off Louis showed. Y/N was still conscious but there was a large amount of blood leaking from his face. He slowly started standing up only for him to fall back down. Riz was still holding onto me so I took my jacket off and through it at his face blinding him. I knee'd him in the face making him let go of me

"Y/N grab Louis!" I yelled hoping he could

He seemed to have a burst of energy and stood on all fours. He ran in between Louis' legs putting him on his back and ran off. I followed behind

When I finally caught up with them they were both sitting down. Y/N was sitting against a wall while Louis was sitting across from him. I ran over to him to see how hurt he was. The left side of his face was drenched in blood and I couldn't see the injury

"Where are you hurt?!" I asked

"My...eye. I can't see out of it" he said

I looked at his eye and moved his fur. There was a single straight line from his eyebrow to his cheek. It was deep and his eye was cut right down the middle

"Here" Louis said

He ripped his pants leg and handed it to me. I used it to patch Y/N's wound and sat next to him as he looked up at the moon

"Sorry I'm late...what're you guys going to do now?" Louis asked

"It's okay now Louis. I'm glad you came to see us" I said

I grabbed Y/N's hand in mine

"Squeeze tightly so I know if you start losing consciousness" I told him

He did pretty tightly and started humming with his eyes closed still facing the moon

"I'll leave Y/N here while I go fight Riz. Help me up Louis"

Y/N's grip got slightly tighter

"You think you can fight him when you can't even stand?!?!"

"You have a huge bite mark on your on the right side of your body. It's bleeding"

"Yeah I'm pretty sure was Riz was trying to kill me. It's not even about justice anymore. We're just pitting our ways of carnivore life against eachother. I've go to see this through. I need to utilize my strength right?" I said

"You still remember that? I didn't even say that to you"

"I remember everything we've all been through. Louis you were always there to stop me from becoming monster"

Y/Ns grip loosened a little when I said that. I looked over at him and he was still humming

"And you're going to prove that by getting yourself killed? Pitting our ways of carnivore life against eachother? Nonsense. If you want to get yourself killed so badly then go. Leave me the weakling behind. Just go" he said crying

I've never seen Louis cry before. He wiped his tears

"What? It's raining? That's unexpected" he said

As soon as he wiped them away they started coming back

"I think this is the first time I cried. And I can't stop" he said

I couldn't think of anything to say

"You guys are strong. Go fight Riz. I have no right to stop you" he added

"I'm sorry..." I said

"Don't be. You'll probably die if you try to fight him when you can't even stand. I want you guys to eat me! I'll give you the strength to fight!" he said

"Tell me why do you still love me
Why do you love me?
You know you shouldn't love me" Y/N sung quietly but we heard him and he continued humming
(Shout out to you if you know this song)

"I-Is he going to be alright?" Louis asked

"Y-yeah I hope so" I said looking at Y/N

His grip was the same in my hand. I snapped my fingers in face but no response

"HEY! I want you guys to eat my leg for strength! I know you have I heard about you in the ghetto!" Louis yelled to him

"Oh uh...Y/N doesn't eat meat just blood" I explained

"Does it matter? You guys have to fight Riz"

"But I've trained so hard to be strong without eating meat"

"You've reached the limit of that strength and it wasn't enough! Now hurry"

I noticed that on the bottom of his foot was the number four

"What's that number?" I

"It's my curse. Break it"

I grabbed his leg

"I won't let this go to waste!"

I started eating his leg and felt a burst of energy. Once I was done I went over to Y/N and scratched my arm making it bleed. I held it up to him and he slowly started lapping it up

"I'm sorry Legosi" Y/N said

"Don't be c'mon let's finish this"

He got up and we ran back under the bridge. Once he saw Riz he started growling along with me. Y/N ran over to him at a lightning speed and punched him in the gut. He was alot faster than before. Riz bent over from the punch  m Y/N wasted no time grabbing his head and kneeing it a few times. Riz broke free from his frenzy and was going to hit him but I ran over and punched him in the stomach knocking him back and making him fall in the ground. The strength of eating meat was incredible. I stood by Y/N and we both watched him

"You chose to be a monster Riz. When you ate Tem. What do you think of Tem now? Or do you only remember the way he taste?" I asked

He stood up and looked at us

"The relationship you guys have between eachother and with Louis I nothing compared to mine and Tems" he replied

Y/N started growling again and went to attack with me right behind him. I couldn't let Louis' sacrifice go to waste

"Hey Legosi at you trying to reduce me to a flashback character? I'm alive you dumb dogs" Louis said sitting on the ground watching

Riz was distracted by Louis and turned his attention to him leaving himself wide open. Me and Y/N punched him in the stomach as hard as we could making him spit up blood. He fell to the ground but was still conscious in fact he seemed pretty okay since he stood back up but was definitely dazed. At the same time the New Years bell rung. I walked over to him and shook him

"Hey Riz. It's the new year now" I said to him

"Haha...you guys win I give up.

Y/N started growling louder. I walked over to him tapped the side of his face snapping him out of his anger. I held my hand on his cheek and pulled back the cloth covering his eye

"C'mon let's get Louis and take you both to a hospital" I said

We walked over to Louis and we both as he wrapped his arms around us

"You didn't hold back on eating my leg"

"...sorry" I said

We all walked towards Riz

"You're lucky Legosi wants to keep you alive. Any other time your head would be on a stick" Y/N said

Riz didn't say anything back to him

"Hey Riz" Louis said

He turned towards us

"You-" he was going to say

"FREEZE! WE'RE THE POLICE" a man said

We were quickly surrounded and I looked over at Y/N and I've never seen him so scared. The police went over and pinned Riz down first but Louis wanted to finish what he had to say but I focused on Y/N more. But then a cop came and pointed his gun at us

"BOTH YOU WOLVES TOO! PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR!" he yelled

"L-Legosi wh-what do I-I do?" Y/N asked me

He looked like he was going to spazz at any second

"Officer it's fine. These two saved me" Louis said

"Calm down Y/N. Just breathe" I said to him

Louis passed out due to blood loss and was taken away. This without a doubt made us all closer. An officer came and told me and Y/N that we were going to the station with them. Me and Y/N walked with him but Louis called out to us

"I'll see you guys at school! That's a promise" he yelled

I shook my head and so did Y/N

Chapter Text

-Y/N POV-
I was arrested. And they knew about the whole "Bloodstained Wolf" thing thanks to my teeth and tattoos. But I was allowed to leave after ten days of being on custody. I haven't seen or talked to Legosi at all. My record was apparently clean before this but now I was a Predatorial Offender. Along with my name they found out about my credit card and asked how I got that much money. I refused to tell them and they said they would just let it slide. I was treated for my eye in the hospital but they gave me their infamous "This is the best we could do" quote. My eye was intact but it was dead. I couldn't see out of it and its color turned gray. I wondered how Gouhin would respond to it

On the tenth day I was released and told to go back to school but on the outside I was greeted by a familiar face. It was Legosi and he charged into me

"Y/N!" he yelled licking me

I kept my left eye closed so he wouldn't see it was dead

"Awww I've missed you too" I said hugging him

He looked at me and saw the scar over my eye anyway

"Is your eye okay?" he asked

Damn...I opened it to show him it's new color

"It's still there but I can't see out of it"

He let go of me and started looking at the ground with a sad look on his face

"I-Its not your fault though! C'mon if you keep looking like that you'll make me cry. Let's go back to the dorms" I said trying to make him not worry about me

"Actually about that..."

"What?" I asked

"I want to drop out. And I want you to come with me" he said

Drop out huh?

"Sure why not"

"You're not going to ask why?!"

"Nope. I'll follow you anywhere you go. But where to first?" I asked

"Well we have to go back to the dorm and get your stuff and find some place to live"

"Why don't we just stay at my place?"

"That would be too easy we need to work out way up. Ex-convicts can't live that easy"

"Sounds like fun. C'mon let's go"

We went back to the dorm during school hours so the rest of the canines wouldn't see me like this. But after that we got on a train. It was pretty packed with a bunch of carnivores and it made me paranoid. We stopped off at our stop but a small sheep got in and started slapping her cheeks at Legosi. He quickly pushed her off along with us. He grabbed me and started running for some reason

"That is very rude!" he yelled back at her

He started walking again after a while

"What was that about?" I asked

"I can't touch another herbivore after what I did to Louis"

He must be having meat withdrawls and doesn't want to connect with herbivores in the slightest. We ended up going to a real estate place and I let him do all the talking while I stood outside. I decided not to hide my eye anymore and I got quite a few stares. He came outside and just like that we were given a condo. When we got there the place was kind of beat up and our room was small as hell

"Atleast we didn't pack much" I said

Legosi immediately went to the floor and started wincing in pain. I knew it was because of the withdrawls

"Do you need anything Legosi?" I asked

"N-no just give me a few minutes" he said

I sat in one of the corners and went on my phone. I saw that Gouhin left multiple messages. Twenty-seven to be exact....

"I'm fine" I text

It didn't take long for him to text back

"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?" he text

"I've been in custody for the past few days"

After I sent that Legosi shot up

"I have to go to the bathroom" he said

"Where are you now" Gouhin text

I didn't want him to see my eye like this so I decided not to tell him

"Thanks for checking on me 👍"

I put my phone down and leaned my head back. I felt it vibrate a few times but ignored it. Legosi came back so I put my hoodie on and drifted off to sleep

I was woken up by the sound of familiar voices and smells and unconsciously started wagging my tail

"That's the first time I seen him wag his tail!"

I opened my eyes to see who the hell was talking. It was Collot staring at me. And I stared right back him with my dead eye. He grabbed my face

"What happened to you?" he asked

It didn't take long for the rest of the canines to surround me to see what he was talking about

"Y/N..." Jack said

"Can you see out of it?" Durham asked

"Nope. But you guys shouldn't worry about me" I said

"Of course we worry Y/N! You said it yourself. We're your friends" Jack said

I started to tear up and of course my left eye could do that. I put my hood on and put my head on my knees

"Awww c'mere" Collot said with them all hugging me

They all talked with Legosi as I tried to get over my feelings. After a little bit they left as I said bye to them

"W-why do feelings hurt s-so much?" I asked

Legosi sat next to me and put his arm over my shoulders

"I don't know why but I know it's a good thing"

"S-so will we be seeing anymore guest?"

"Yup. Gouhin, Bill, and Aoba"

Siiiiigh

"Gouhin is going to kick my ass"

A few hours passed then he showed. I tried not to show him the left side of my face

"So why didn't you want to tell me where you were kid?" he asked

"I-I'm not a kid anymore. I shouldn't h-have to tell you w-where I am"

"...look at me"

I didn't say anything to him nor did what he asked. And as a result he grabbed my head and saw the damage for himself. I ended up looking right at him with both eyes but I quickly averted them

"...Is this what you were trying to hide?"

I nodded my head avoiding eye contact. He suddenly brought me into a hug as I started to tear up again. I hugged him back tightly

"I hate having feelings dad. It just keeps hurting" I said full on crying this time

Legosi came and patted my back

"How do I stop them?" I asked

"I don't think you can. All those years you went being out of touch with your emotions are now catching up with you. All you can do is embrace them" Gouhin said

"I have to say that I like the soft side of you Gouhin"

I let go of him and me and Legosi explained the fight and our imprisonment. After all that he left and to be honest I didn't feel any better but atleast I stopped crying. Me and Legosi talked for a bit until Bill and Aoba showed up

"Whoa can you see out of it?" Bill asked mere centimeters from my face

"No. Now get back!" I said pushing him

"Did you guys know Bill will be the head of the drama club next year?" Aoba asked

"Congratulations Bill. I'm glad that you're doing okay" Legosi said

"I don't want to hear that from a drop out. Plus Louis told me to do it" he said

"You guys heard about Louis right? He found out Riz was Tem's killer and confronted him. But lost his foot in the process" Aoba said

So that's how everyone sees it as? It wasn't a kill so I guess I shouldn't be mad

"That reminds me. Dom and Pina want to come see you guys. It's all right that I give them your room number right?" Bill asked

I was going to say it was okay but Legosi jumped to answer first

"What? No way. You want us to hang with a bunch of herbivores after we quit school? That's effin lame" he said and his acting was bad...really bad

"Effin?" I asked

"It's amazing how bad you are at faking. That was so weird" Aoba said

"You guys have always been weird. I don't know why you guys would drop out of highschool. How can you support yourselves? Adult carnivores need social ability most of all and neither of you guys have it. Become friends with your neighbors or something" Bill said

After that they left. It was kind of late so Legosi decided to go get ready for bed. I told him that I was going to go out for cigarettes. It didn't take long to get them. On my way there and back I was met with stares. When I went into our condo Legosi was wide awake

"I expected you to be sleep by now" I said

"I almost ate a herbivore" he said bluntly

I sat in front of him

"What happened? Did you leave the room?"

"No in fact she walked right in here" he said pouting at me

I must've left the door unlocked when I left

"M-my bad"

"It's fine. Anyway she told me how to get the electricity working and how we can get jobs"

And like he said in the morning we went job hunting. We ended up going to a few and getting declined. But one accepted us at a restaurant. The manager said that I was allowed to work but only in the kitchen due to my scars. I never really cooked before but I just followed the recipes and the co-workers said I was pretty decent.

When it was time to close we all gathered in the staff room. And once all the herbivore staff members left the carnivores asked me and Legosi if we wanted to go to the ghetto with them. They didn't recognize me which was good and they said that the only reason they asked was because "they know what we're going through as teenagers". Me and Legosi declined and went back to the condo. On our way there I started smoking. Just as we reached the condo Legosi stopped suddenly. And a komodo dragon approached him. I noticed they both smelled the same despite the difference in species.

"Grandpa-" Legosi was cut off by the reptile putting his fingers in his mouth

Grandpa?! Why was he here? Oh god, why am I like THIS when I finally see his family?

"How've you been Legosi?!" the dragon asked

"That's such a peculiar greeting grandpa. Not what I expected for our five year reunion"

"You're my only grandson by blood" the reptile said hugging him

By blood?!

He then turned his gaze to me. I dropped the cigarette and stepped on it

"H-hello s-sir" I said holding my hand out

He didn't shake my hand but instead studied my face

"How old are you?" he asked

"S-seventeen "

Legosi introduced us

"Grandpa this is my friend Y/N" he said

I didn't mind the whole friend part but what he said next....

"Why don't we all go out somewhere to eat" he added

And the next thing I know we're walking into a restaurant

"Why don't we sit here?" Legosi asked

It was by a window so I sat on the side so my left side was facing it. Legosi sat by me while his grandfather sat across from us. He asked a waiter for a menu and there was no more talking after that. Just awkward silence until his grandfather broke it

"IS IT MY FAULT?!" he said out of the blue

"What?!" Legosi asked

"You're dropping out of school, that scar on your face, and look at who you're hanging out with! Is it my fault you've become a delinquent?!" he said

"Grandpa it's rude to refer to him like that" Legosi replied

He then went on saying some personal things about Legosi's family more specifically about Legosi's mom. Why did I have to come along? I just spaced out while they talked to eachother

"Why is a toxic lizard sitting at one of the good tables?" a bird asked

"You ought to get out of here before you turn this restaurant into a gas chamber" he added

He must be really bold huh? The confidence must have come from his friends behind him

"What? I don't think I heard you right. Sounds like you think komodo dragons emit gas. Are you serious?" Legosi asked standing up

The vibe he gave off when he said that was a turn on

"What? Don't get smart with me pup" the bird replied

"Do you want to fight?" the bird added

I got up and stood beside Legosi

"Sure why not?" me and Legosi said in unison

I barred my teeth and started growling. They froze at the sight of my clouded eye and red teeth. The owner of the place interfered before we actually started fighting and the birds left. I calmed down and turned back to the seat to see Legosi's grandpa with a mad look on his face

"Fuck..." I thought

We ended up leaving the restraunt since Legosi's grandad wasn't approving of what we did

"I'm disappointed in you! You really have turned into a delinquent! You guys acted like thugs back there" he said

I wasn't in any place to say anything so I left it to Legosi. We ended up walking into a dead end and was surrounded by the birds

"You guys made asses of us. You know what's gonna happen now right?" the one from earlier asked

He walked over to Legosi

"You bunch of freaks" he said pushing him

Me and Legosi's grandpa both attacked him. He slashed his shoulder as I slashed the side of his torso

"Don't touch him!" we both yelled

I realized what I did and turned to Legosi

"I can fight these guys right?" I asked

"Y-yeah...hold back though"

I did as he said and fought the birds alongside his grandpa which didn't take long

"Not bad for someone your age. Those scars must have a story" he said

I was instantly nervous again after he said that

"Uhh thanks?"

We ended up all going to a bridge and sat on a bench there. Legosi and his grandfather talked for a bit while I felt like I was intruding. But his granddad called for a taxi and was going to leave. He was already in while me and Legosi stood side by side at his door. And Legosi had something to say

"Oh! Before you leave I want you to know that Y/N isn't just my friend but instead my boyfriend" he said with a nonchalant tone

Both me and his grandfather were shocked. Before his granddad could respond he closed the door and hit the roof telling the driver to go. The car drove off as I looked at Legosi

"What?" he asked

"N-nothing let's go back to the condo"

The next day at work Legosi was tasked with doing a delivery. I told him to be careful before he left. About two hours passed and he came back talking with a seal. And he asked me of we could go to his place for a bit after work so he can explain his lifestyle to us. To which I agreed to. And once our shift was over Legosi introduced me to him. His name was Kazguān. We walked back to the condo as Kaguān explained the sea creatures way of life

I was on my phone when we entered Kaguān's place which happened to do be in the same condos as us. I closed the door behind me and stood next to Legosi. I felt his attitude change so I looked up at him. He was shocked, while looking at Kaguān. I looked over at him to see him now naked.

"Make yourselves comfortable" Kaguān said

I quickly moved behind Legosi and put him into a choke hold

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU BRING ME TO?!"

"I...DONT KNOW!"

I tightened my grip

"Did I do something wrong? In the sea we are usually naked. And I know it's wrong to be naked to opposite sex but we're all males here. What's the problem?" Kaguān asked

I looked at him and back at Legosi. I sighed and let go of Legosi before he lost consciousness

"Whatever" I said sitting down

Legosi caught his breath then joined me

"You both are bold wolves or so I've heard. "The new residents are two wolves convicted with predation". Is what the rumors say" Kaguān informed

Rumors already? Who could've started them?

"It's true we were both convicted with predation" Legosi said

"Did you guys go through something terrible?" Kaguān asked

Did we? I looked at Legosi waiting for him to answer. He looked back at me and I saw that his gaze glanced at my dead eye

"Yeah...and it was because of me" Legosi said

He must still feel like it's his fault my eye was like this

"Nonetheless you guys accepted my culture so I'll accept you both as well. Let's toast to our new friendship" Kaguān said raising his glass

He poured us some of his tea and we did a toast

-Legosi POV-
After we left Kaguān me and Y/N went back to our place. It was pretty late and it didn't take long for Y/N to go to sleep and I did along with him. But at some point he left from beside me. I was woken up by the sound of him growling. He was sitting up against the wall still asleep but his growling only got louder. I started to wake up more and noticed the iron smell filling the room. It instantly woke me up and I looked at Y/N closer. He was gripping his arm with his claws, digging them into it. I got up to stop him

"Hey Y/N!"

He didn't respond but kept growling. I tapped his head a few times and his growling stopped. His eyes shot open and so did his body, making his head hit the wall behind him

"Oww...damnit"

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah...? All I did was hit my head"

"No...you were... hurting yourself in your sleep"

He didn't seem to know what I was talking about but he must've felt a shock of pain since he looked down at his arm

"M-my bad"

I got some stuff to patch his arm up and sat next to him. I asked for him to hold his hand out and he did but when he did he turned his head away from me

"Are you okay Y/N?" I asked

"Y-yeah"

"You stuttered"

"A-and?"

He couldn't have been embarrassed because I'm patching him up. Was it a nightmare?

"You know you were growling too right?" I asked

"Uh huh"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN UH HUH?"

He turned to me with a smile on his face

"Let's just go back to sleep"

It was fake wasn't it? I sighed and finished up with his arm. He laid down with me again but had his back against mine. Why was he being so distant? It had to be a nightmare right? Did he forget it? No if he did then he wouldn't act like this

In the morning I decided to introduce him to Sebun since we planned on shopping together. When I did he knelt down to her level which I was proud he did but once we left he kind of hung behind us. I just wanted to grab him and have him tell me what was wrong

We ended up at a shoe store. Me and Sebun looked around the shoes and she asked me what I preferred and I explained that flashy shoes mean that carnivores don't want to be asscoiated with herbivores. I noticed again that Y/N was distant from us. Our eyes met and he quickly looked back at the shoes. I went over to him and pulled him to the restroom

"We'll be right back!" I told Sebun

Once inside I pushed him against the wall. He turned his head to the left as a response

"Did I do something wrong?! Why are you being so distant?"

He didn't respond. I grabbed his chin and forced him to look at me. Surprisingly, he smiled but its was a nervous smile

"Y-youd laugh if I told you why"

"Just tell me please"

"I had...a nightmare"

I guessed as much

"About?"

He was still facing me but turned his eyes to the left

"Uhh l-let's just go back out with Sebun"

I sighed

"Will you tell me later?"

He nodded his head pretty vigorously. We both left the restroom to see Sebun in front of three carnivores. I looked at Y/N and saw that he sharpened his gaze at them. We both stood by Sebun as I slung me arm around Y/N but he kept his intimidating look

"Hello we're Sebun's neighbors" I said to three

"H-hi we're lambs co-workers" the fox said

"Her name isn't 'Lamb' it's Sebun" Y/N said coldly

"We know but...who came up with that name?" the alligator asked the others

They started arguing over who started the whole 'lamb' thing. But they quickly left. Y/N squatted down to Sebun

"Are you okay? Those guys seemed like assholes" he asked

"I didn't need you guys help!" she yelled running off

Me and Y/N followed her and she explained that it wasn't fair that social outcast like us have more privileges than her

"I thought they were just being nice" I said

"No! Their ears were drooping! That's a sign of being submissive" she informed

I didn't know that. I wonder...

"Hey Y/N" I said

"Hmm?" he replied drooping his ears

I just realized that he's been doing it for awhile

"Nothing"

We followed Sebun as I kept trying to get her attention only for her to ignore me. She went to a convenience store and bought some drinks and we followed her back to the condos. But instead of her going to hers she went up on the roof and we followed

"I'm sorry Sebun. I should've taken your feelings into consideration" Y/N said

His voice was very low and gentle I've only heard it like this a few times

"Don't apologize I'm the one at fault. You're making me feel miserable" she replied

"What do you want us to do?" I asked

"I want you both to shut up...and drink these with me" she said holding out her bag

Y/N grabbed his and looked at me drooping his ears like he was asking for permission

"You know don't need to ask me for stuff like this"

Before he could answer back Kaguān joined us. I introduced him to Sebun but I couldn't get over why Y/N was acting like this. We talked for awhile then went back to our condos

Y/N went in and immediately fell to the floor with a sigh. I stood by the door waiting for him to give me an answer to his behavior. He didn't seem to be bothered by it so I cleared my throat

"What?" he asked

"You said you were going to tell me why you've been acting like this"

"Ohhhh yeah! About that...I lied so you'd let go of me. I'm sorry" the last part was said in a sad tone

I jumped on top of him and pinned him down

"Tell me!"

He stared right into my eyes as his breathing picked up. He closed his eyes

"Please...tell me Y/N"

His breathing slowed and he only opened up his bad eye. I knew he couldn't see out of it but the way it looked right at me told me otherwise

"That nightmare I was talking about was...about that group I used to be with. It was just an endless loop of them dying and me leaving them behind"

He's been very touchy about this subject and always sheds atleast one tear when he brings it up but now he was smiling

"Not a day goes by without me thinking about them. But I can never understand why they helped me get away"

His smile didn't falter and he still didn't open his good eye

"I still don't think I'll live long but I can spend the rest of my life protecting you"

This isn't like him. He would've atleast stuttered once. What the hell is going on?

"Don't talk like that..." I said

He drooped his ears and turned his head like a confused dog. Was he acting like this because his eye was closed?

"Open your eye"

"...I think if I do I'll mostly likely cry once I see the face your making"

I didn't say anything and just waited for him. He sighed and opened it looking right at me. And like he said his eyes became glassy. Before I could see a tear drop he pulled me into a hug

"I-Im sorry for being a dumbass. I-I don't ever want to leave you Legosi"

"It's ok Y/N just talk with me. You're not alone"

"I will"

That's when it hit me. He must have survivors guilt. He hugged me for awhile and eventually fell asleep doing so. I didn't look up at him the whole time but I did when he was sleep. He had tears on his cheek even though I couldn't hear the slightest bit of him crying. I wiped them off his face and fell asleep as well

At work today wasn't any different from any other day. But once me and Y/N left a group of carnivores approached us talking about a energy drink

"How old are you guys?" one of them asked

"We're both seventeen" Y/N replied

"Would you guys like to try a sample?" the guy asked

They started walking so we walked with them

"Our stamina is pretty good so I don't see the reason in a energy drink" I replied

"All you have to do is taste it and tell us if you liked it"

The guy then put his box of the drinks on the ground and pulled out a bottle. And once he took the cap off I knew exactly what they were doing. This was the blood bone drug and he handed me the bottle. They were probably expecting me and Y/N to give into temptation but neither of us did

"That's the new drug ain't it?" Y/N asked

I dropped the bottle and became mad at their petty attempt at tempting me. I took off my shirt as Y/N started stretching. While the other guy pulled out a butcher knife with his friends getting ready to fight as well

"I guess we targeted the wrong guys" he said

"I'm kinda hating life right now but I assure you that by the end of this fight that knife will be in your gut if you don't put it away. Even though I have no depth perception" Y/N said

What did he say?

"Wha-" I was cut off by the guy charging at me bringing the knife behind his head to cut me

Right before the blade hit my face Y/N's blocked it using his own arm. The cut was definitely deep

"Good answer" he said

And just like he said he grabbed the knife and rammed it into his stomach

"I suggest leaving it in there to stop yourself from bleeding out" he said licking the blood from his hand

I was stunned by the way he looked he seemed like a demon of some sorts. But I couldn't dwell on it too much. I went to attack the other guys but just as I punched one we were surrounded by cops

"I found the two wolves and the drug dealers!" one said

"Capture them!" another said

I looked over at Y/N since I know how he gets around the police and surely enough he had his scared look on which only made him look more suspicious. He looked at me as if seeking comfort and all I did was nod. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. But from the smell of the drug I passed out into a trance

When I woke up I was in what seemed to be a hospital bed with Y/N in a chair next to the bed laying his head at my feet. There were also police officers in the room

"Oh look our other hero is up! You did a great job exposing that drug cartel" one said

"A friend of yours is outside. We'll let him in" the other said

Once they left Y/N started wagging his tail and looked up at me

"Passing out from the smell of blood huh?" he asked with a genuine smile

"I guess I'm becoming you"

I looked at his arm and it was already patched up and he caught me looking

"Don't worry about me"

"Yeah surely the Bloodstained Wolf can handle himself"

Louis came into the room with a bag

"I knew it was you two. I read a article about two 17 year old wolves taking down a drug cartel" he added

"You guys are both heroes in the eyes of the police"

I was still shocked by the fact he was here. Y/N's face didn't exactly show happiness but his tail was still wagging

"Anyway I brought you guys some souvenirs and some cake too"

He pulled out fruit jelly and a castella

"So you guys can choose to eat these or me if you want"

His response made me choke on my own spit. Y/N didn't falter though and just stared at me

"What's gotten into you Louis?" I asked still coughing

"About time one of you said something. I thought about that joke on my way here" he replied

"That wasn't funny! You scared me!" I said

"You scared me first. You ate my leg then dropped out without telling me"

I looked down at his now prosthetic leg and then to Y/N's gray eye. I put these two through alot of pain all because of my own ideals

"But let's not talk about my leg" Louis said

"Which do you guys want to eat first?" he added

"I'll take the castella but Y/N doesn't eat food" I informed

"Yeah I remembered so I got him a soda" he said holding out the can

Y/N went to grab it but completely missed. He stopped and stared at the can then actually grabbed it this time

"What...was that about?" Louis asked

"Since I only have one eye my depth perception was badly damaged. It's hard for me to tell how far something is" he explained

That's what he meant earlier? He fought just like any other time though. He then looked at me

"But you shouldn't worry about me though"

(Skipping Legosi's 'I have a fetish for herbivores' thing to the point you and him go back to the condo together)

Once we made it back to our place and saw that there were two huge boxes by our door. Y/N grabbed the note on top of them as I started opening them

"Its just some prize for dealing with those drug dealers... hopefully people in the ghetto won't find out I did that" he said

I opened and saw that it was filled with rice cakes. Y/N didn't know what they were so I explained that they were a luxury food

"Why don't you try one of these?" I asked

"I doubt I will really taste anything though"

"How about we share these with everyone else here at the condo? And you can try one then"

He stared at me and a smile appeared on his face. He then hugged me

"Awww you nice bastard"

"Listen Y/N...I'm sorry for your-" I was cut off by him kissing me

After a few seconds he pulled back

"Don't be. You didn't do it"

"Now let's invite everyone to share these" he added

He pulled the boxes inside as I started writing a note to post on the buildings new board. Once I put it up Kaguān and Sebun joined us

"Wait I take it back I don't want to meet new people" Y/N said

"Too late. It's already posted" Sebun said

I borrowed a shichirin (some kind of mini stove) from the manager and set it up on the rooftop. We waited for about two hours until people started to show

"These guys look sketchy as hell" Y/N whispered to me

I elbowed him in the side

"How do you think we look?"

"R-right"

"While we wait for the cakes to roast why don't we introduce ourselves?" I asked everyone

We went around in a circle as everyone explained themselves. The rice cakes were ready so we all sat down and continued the introductions. I handed Y/N one and he just looked at it. I also noticed his bad eye was closed probably so he doesn't freak anyone out

"You said this is supposed to be a high class food right? What if it doesn't taste like anything like, everything else?" he asked

"There's only one way to find out" I replied

He sighed and took a bite out of it

"This taste like!-"

"What?!"

"Absolutely nothing..." he said laughing

"Sorry for leading you on like that. I couldn't help myself" he said leaning his head on my shoulder

Why is acting like this?! Should I just be up front about it? I'll have to ask him bluntly later

Y/N was the last to introduce himself and he just said his name and that was it. He looked back at me as if saying "was that good enough?". I shook my head and he sighed and opened his other eye

"I'm Y/N and I'm a gray wolf just like Legosi and all I really do is follow him around"

"Can you see out of that?" Bogue asked

"Nope not in the slightest"

"How'd it get like that? I've been meaning to ask" Zaguān asked

Y/N looked at me again wondering of it was okay to tell the story to which I said yeah. We all talked for a few hours then all said our goodbyes. Once me and Y/N got back to our condo I was determined to get a answer out of him

"Y/N we need to talk"

"I want to know why you still-"

"What's this?" he cut me off

He pulled out a fancy letter from one of the boxes and handed it to me. It was sent from someone named Yafya. It said that we wanted to see his both of us tomorrow about our views of the city which was weird

"We're going to need some fancy clothes"

In the morning that's exactly what we did

"Does this look good?" I asked Y/N

"It's very sexy" he said wrapping his arms around my neck pulling me into a kiss

He pretty much had the same thing as me on just with different colors. He looked really good in it so we bought the clothes and left. But once outside I remembered I was supposed to ask him why he's been so different. I sighed at myself for forgetting

"What's wrong?" he asked

"Nothing. Let's just get to the place"

We walked around for a bit as I tried to remember where I seen the name Yafaya at. I realized that going through the ghetto would be faster and that's when I remembered that's where I seen the name from. It came from here

"Do you know anyone named Yafaya, Y/N?" I asked

He stopped in his tracks

"Please tell me that's not who we are going to go see"

"I thought I told you the name already"

"All you said was that we needed fancy clothes!"

"So do you know him?"

"...Not personally. He's the bad guy around here in the ghetto which makes him a hero everywhere else. Some rumors say that he is the Beastar"

"A Beastar..."

We continued to go walk to our destination which ended up being the metropolitan police department. I looked over at Y/N and he was constantly looking over his shoulder

"Do you want me to hold your hand?" I asked as a joke

"Sh-shut up!"

He continued to follow me inside but was still paranoid. When we went in a rabbit knew exactly who we were and told us to follow a bunch of mice into a elevator who took us to the top floor. As soon as the doors opened a horse was right in front of us

"I've been expecting you two" he said

Me and Y/N was shocked by the aura he gave off but I'm sure Y/N was just scared from where were at. The mice then pushed us out by our shoes and the elevator closed behind us

"Welcome Legosi and Y/N" Yafaya said

"Nice to meet you, Yafaya" I replied

"How did you guys get here?"

"We used the train and walked the rest of the way" I replied

"Did the guys at the bottom floor treat you well?" he asked

"Yes" I replied

He started walking towards a table that only had two seats

"Please sit" he said

Y/N went ahead of me and pulled the chair out for me. I sat then he pushed it in and stood behind me. Yafaya then sat down on the other end of the table

"Sorry I'm not used to having more than two people here" he said

(Skipping to where he tells Legosi that the carrots were grown in corpses)

After he said that he knocked me down by kicking my feet. Y/N went to attack him but he shot him with a tranqulizer

"Damn...it" he said falling to the ground

He tried to get back up only to fall again and passed out. I tried to get up but Yafaya stepped on me, pushing me back down. He then pulled out a real gun and pointed it at Y/N

"You don't want your boyfriend here to be turned into fertilizer, right? He has never killed a herbivore before but you ate the leg of one. Get down on your knees and grovel for forgiveness for being born a carnivore then I'll atleast spare his life"

He then took his leg off me but kept the gun pointed at Y/N

"Now...grovel"

I ate Louis' leg and cost Y/N his eye. I can't be mad at Yafaya for using carnivores for his source of nutrition. But I couldn't just let him kill Y/N. I bowed my head to him and started pulling out my teeth

"I'm sorry for being born a carnivore and for eating my friends foot. It was consensual but its unforgivable. At the same time by being careless my boyfriend lost his eye and not a day goes by where I don't feel the guilt from it"

I stood up

"So in exchange I don't need my fangs anymore"

I showed him all the ones I pulled out which shocked him. I used my tongue to feel around my mouth for more and pulled out the last one. I was putting all my hope on Y/N waking up from the smell of my blood

"Now my bory haff ra right to punh you right in ra fafe" I said with speech impediment

I did exactly as I said and punched him in the face but I mostly held back but he still went flying backwards. I looked at Y/N to see he was slowly standing up

"A gentle ineffective punch like that symbolizes your true nature" Yafaya said standing up

A fire started and an alarm went off

"You triggered my smoke detector. The guys on the bottom floor must be on their way here" he added

I bowed my head to him again

"Even carnivoref have a fenfe of reavon rey're all fuffuring. I puhnt in ra fafe to tell you rhat. I'm forry for being rude to ra beaftar. We'll be leaving now"

I went over and grabbed Y/N and pulled me with him. We ran out of the room and soon out of the building. I tried talking to him but he only responded by saying "huh". He was half asleep while I couldn't make my words clear

I didn't really think of going anywhere else but Gouhin's place. By the time we got there Y/N passed out again. I banged on the door and Gouhin came out

"What happened to you guys?! What happened to your teeth Legosi?" he asked

The adrenaline started to die and I felt weak

"Help...Y/N first"

-Legosi POV-
It's been about a week since we saw Yafaya. Me and Y/N have been staying at Gouhin's but Y/N hasn't talked to me much at all. I was cleaning the clinic until Gouhin approached me and gave me a pair of dentures. I declined them but he told me to try them on anyway. We ended up going into one of the patient rooms and I put them on

"Do they feel weird? How are they?" he asked lighting a cigarette

"They calm me down...I can make "s" sounds now" I replied

"Gouhin?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you know how Y/N is doing? Hasn't really talked to me since we've been here"

"He's fine he just hasn't left his room much"

"...have you seen a change in the way he acts?"

"Yeah he seems more...reserved. But he's always been like that. Why do you ask?"

"I just feel like he's changed. One night he said he had a nightmare and since then he hasn't been the same. He smiles but most of them seem fake. He even asks for permission to do the most simplest things and does whatever I say"

"A nightmare huh? Did he tell you about it?"

"Yeah he said it was about that group he was with"

"...I'm not sure you noticed but Y/N has survivors guilt. He feels like it's his fault they died. And he probably feels like if he does everything you say he can avoid a fate like that again"

I guessed that already. But how do I bring it up with him?....And now he probably feels like me pulling my teeth was his fault. I'm a dumbass

"Gouhin we're going to go now!" I said running out of the room

I went to Y/N's room and when I opened the door he was laying down staring at the ceiling

"Yes Gouhin?" he asked not looking at me

"It's Legosi..."

He shot up and his tail started wagging and his smile was genuine. But neither of those things lasted long. His tail stopped wagging and his smile faded as he averted his eyes away from me

"You're ready to go right? C'mon" I said

He nodded his head. I left the room and got my stuff together. After a few minutes we both left the clinic

We both didn't say anything to eachother. How do I bring this up? I know he wouldn't hurt me but the vibe he gives off makes him kind of unapproachable

We walked in silence for a while then I finally got the courage to ask him

"Y/N do you-"

"Y/N! Legosi!"

You've got to be kidding me. I looked back to whoever was calling us to see Haru

"It's April 9th! Happy birthday Legosi!" she yelled from a bridge

Y/N looked to me

"It's your birthday?!" he asked wagging his tail

"Y-yeah looks like I lost track of time"

He went behind me and put his head in-between my legs and lifted me up on his shoulders

"Let's go see Haru then"

He carried me onto the bridge with her

"Hey you guys! It's been awhile since I've seen you two and I knew Legosi would forget his own birthday" Haru said

Y/N put me down and we both squatted to her level. She saw Y/N's eye and the scar over my eye

"What happened to you guys?" she asked

"Y'know...wolf...stuff" Y/N replied

"O...kay. Anyway let's go do something!" she said

And he did just that. We went out to a restaurant with Y/N paying. He seemed so sociable with Haru but I couldn't just ask him in front of Haru. We all hung out and catched up for about four hours then Haru left. Me and Y/N walked around for a bit until we sat at a bench. He sat down and immediately started staring at the moon

"Y'know it is relaxing" he said

"What is?"

"The moon. Remember you said that awhile ago?"

I'm surprised he remembered that

"Yeah...Y/N?"

"Hmm?"

"I need to talk to you"

"A-about what?"

"It's just that you've been acting weird and I can't help but feel like it's my fault"

"I- uh don't k-know what to say"

He turned to look at me and his expression looked worried or scared even

"I just want you to tell me what's wrong"

He looked away and turned back with a sinister smile. He wrapped his arm around my neck and pulled my face only inches away from his

"What of I'm pent up and need some kind of...release?" he said in a seductive tone

Was that really the case? No it couldn't be. He didn't even stutter. This is just him trying to ease his way out of talking. I pulled back

"I need you to be serious Y/N!"

His smile faded and he closed his bad eye along with drooping his ears

"I-Im sorry..."

"It's fine just tell me what's bothering you"

"I-It's just that I feel l-like I'm going to lose you. And that I won't be there to h-help you. J-just like t-the-" I cut him off by hugging him

"I'm not going anywhere Y/N. So please stop worrying about me. And if you want to talk about your friends then I'm here for you"

I pulled back from the hug to see his face. It was neutral but he had tears rolling down his face

"I also think it's adorable that you stutter"

He wiped his face and opened his other eye

"Shut up...god I need to stop crying" he said smiling

"Sooooo...." he said

"What?"

"Sex or....not?"

"N-No! C'mon let's go to the dorm we're seeing Jack and the rest of the canines tomorrow" I said walking away

"Now you play hard to get?!" he said following me

Now that we got that out of the way I just need to make sure he doesn't get like that again. I looked at him and he looked back with a genuine smile. He protects my smile so I'll have to do the same for his

The next day we were waiting to meet up with the other canines since they were off from school and we were off from work

"What're we doing anyway?" Y/N asked

"We're going to B-strike"

"...And what's that?"

He doesn't know?!

"Well if you don't know I'll let it be surprise"

-Y/N POV-
B-Strike huh?

We waited for about ten minutes until I started to smell the other guys. Once we saw them me and Legosi ended up running to them and we all started smelling eachother cause you know...dog stuff.

We walked for a bit until we got to a huge building that had "B-Strike" in fancy lights. The outside of the building seemed professional but the inside was definitely chaotic

"Do they fight here?" I asked

They all exchanged looks with eachother like I was insane

"Have you never been here before?" Jack asked

"Nope. Never even heard of it"

"Just follow us. Trust me you'll love it" Durham said

Once inside I kind of figured out what this place is. It's basically a more expensive version of Cherryton's territory time. If the canine room is just a light I'm going to be disappointed

Once we got to our room after a long ass wait time I was disappointed. It was just a big room with some kind of machine against a wall. But the other canines were ecstatic.

"Am I missing out on something? This is boring as hell" I said

They then explained that the machine would shoot out a ball and all we had to do was catch it and bring it back. Can I even catch anything with my depth perception fucked up like this?

We knelt down in front of the machine waiting for it to do something. It started shaking but then it just stopped

"What the hell is this?! I'm leaving!" I said becoming frustrated

I stood up as everyone else tried to keep me down but when I did my instincts told me to hold my hand up which I did. It shot out a ball and I actually caught it. As I held onto it I started to get why they were so excited about it. I subconsciously started wagging my tail

"What are you doing?! Put it back! Don't keep the machine waiting!" they all yelled at me

I did as they said and rushed the ball back to the machine and tossed it in. A big dumb smile started to form on my face

"Amazing! How did you get the ball in so quickly? Words can't express how grateful we are!" the machine said

I noticed my smile and covered it with my hand

"Sh-shut up!" I yelled at it

The other canines all started hugging me

"Great job Y/N!" they said

I tried to push them off me but I gave into the affection which wasn't bad. We continued to catch the balls but after a while we had to leave. We were pretty sweaty so we all went to the bathhouse. All of the other canines talked to eachother while I was off by myself. I was leaned back staring up at the ceiling. I didn't exactly feel a specific emotion but I was smiling. These few moments of peace were relaxing. I closed my eyes and started humming but Legosi picked up on it

"Are you okay Y/N?"

I opened my clouded eye and looked at where his voice was coming from

"Yes. Why wouldn't I be?"

"Well you're... humming"

I opened both my eyes. And moved my face only inches away from his

"What if it means I'm happy?" I said kissing him

We made out for a few seconds until I felt the stares of the other canines. Plus I was starting to get too "into it"

"I- L-lets stop for now" I said pulling away

After that we left B-Strike and hung out for a bit but Legosi asked a random question

"Can we still hang out when we're all grown up?"

I went to answer his question but realized that I couldn't. I knew what he meant by the question but I realized that my only long term friend that's alive was Bill. Thankfully the rest of the canines answered

"Of course we can! We're all canines here! You guys can call us anytime!" they said hugging us

The next few days were pretty basic. Just going to work then back to the condo. But one day on our way back home Legosi suddenly fell. I managed to catch him by his shirt and I noticed that there was a tripwire. But I pulled him back up

"Not bad. I expected you to fall with him"

I turned around to see that damned horse. Legosi told me he pulled his fangs out on his own accord but this horse was definitely the reason why he did. I took off my jacket and started stretching (when I say this I always imagine how Goku does)

"I know you're the Beastar and all but you're pretty bold to show your face again"

I started to walk towards him but Legosi stopped me

"He doesn't seem hostile. Let's see what he has to say"

Why has he like this? He pushed you to the point you pulled out your own teeth. Why doesn't he want revenge?

"Well since you seem to have a short fuse I'll get straight to the point. I want you two to help me. I'll give you 100,000 dollars up front. And when the job is done I'll give you another 250,000 once the job was done" Yafaya offered

Now he's trying to tempt us with money...

"I have more than that" I whispered to Legosi

"We're fine. Plus I'm done doing dangerous work since it worries the people in my life" Legosi said

Seeing him decline the Beastar was hot in its own kind of way. Yafaya smiled but I could sense his frustration

"Look. I can't get rid of neither of you guys scars but I can clear your records" he said

"O-our records?! Really?" Legosi asked

Why was that more intriguing to him than the money? I mean I guess with a clear record we can get better jobs but that's about it. I pulled him to the side

"Why is the record thing catching your attention?" I asked

"Isn't it getting yours? That way if we wanted we could get married"

We couldn't get married if we were convicted of predation? What type of bullshit law is that?

"I- whatever. I'll follow you no matter what you choose"

We ended up taking Yafaya's request and followed him back to the police station. He then gave us suits and explained that we were looking for a half leopard half gazelle criminal at a illegal party. Once we got there we were given mask to where. I picked the panda while Legosi got the deer. We all sat down on a couch while two girls started making out. Which made Legosi flustered

"Maybe we should do the same? Y'know to blend in" I asked him

"We don't have time for that. C'mon" Yafaya said cock blocking me

He pulled us over to a bar but the second we go there some woman offered Legosi drugs and started groping him

"HEY! Back the fuck off him or I'll rip your goddamn throat out!"

Even though we both wore masks our eyes met eachothers. My bloodlust filled eyes met her terrified ones. She was frozen for a second and she slowly walked away

"Bitch..." I said

I turned back to Legosi and even though he had his mask I could feel an angered vibe coming off him

"You didn't have to go that far"

Instead of replying I decided to grope him too

"Pretty sure I'm doing it better, right?" I whispered in his ear

Again Yafaya pulled us apart and dragged us to the to the middle of the party. We all stood with our backs together

"Scan the room for Melon's characteristics" he said

I couldn't be that hard. All I have to do is look for one scent that is a mix of two. Just thinking about that I found one person with a scene like that

"That guy on the second floor smoking is him" I whispered

"How can you be so sure?" Yafaya asked

"He's right. It's covered by the smoke but two smells are coming off him"

"Okay. It'll be suspicious if we all leave to go upstairs so you two stay down here until I confirm it's him" Yafaya said leaving us

Well there's nothing else to do

"Mind if I have this dance?" I asked Legosi

"I- uh yeah"

I took the lead by grabbing his waist and hand

"You know this isn't exactly a slow song" he said

"The one in my head says otherwise"

"Speaking of which why do you hum when you're in pain?"

"I dunno it's just something to take my mind off it. I was actually called the 'humming' wolf before my teeth turned like this"

I couldn't see his face so I didn't know what kind of expression he was making. But he did lean closer against me and rested his head on my shoulder. We danced for a little bit until I saw Yafaya motion for us to go up with him. Once we got there Melon was already cuffed to the table. Yafaya gave Legosi the keys and a gun and said he was leaving to call for backup. There were two seats at Melon's table so we took them. Legosi took his mask off so I did the same

"Hey...you're not a pure-blooded wolf are you?" Melon asked Legosi

"...how did you know?" Legosi responded

I just watched other people enjoy the party as they talked

"Call it hybrid intuition. But you're friend over here reeks of two different species"

He was talking about me? I turned to look at him

"Yeah. The upper body strength definitely belongs to a bear. The slight shift in fur color around your eyes makes me want to say...panda. Does that make you part herbivore? I dunno they seem to play both sides"

He's got to be lying. Gouhin is my adoptive father...right?

"That was too easy...but you. I can't seem to tell what you're mixed with"

"I-Im part komodo dragon..."

"Pfft! A reptile?"

I let them talk as I wondered if Gouhin really was my blood related dad. He couldn't be. He would've told me if I was. There really isn't a point in lying about it. But I always was stronger than most wolves. I did notice the slight color change around my eyes but that had to just be a coincidence. Oh god is this what they call an identity crisis? I'm too young for this!

I was broken out of my thoughts by Legosi unlocking Melon's cuffs

"I...just want to talk to him more" Legosi explained

"I-its fine. I need a distraction right now anyway"

We casually left with the criminal. Well I guess I couldn't complain since I wasn't exactly the most innocent person either. We walked for awhile until I decided to bring up what Melon said

"You said I'm a hybrid right? Of a panda?"

"Do you not know? It's seems you only picked up the strength and color traits from the panda though"

"I'll tell you more if he can manage to tell me a joke" he said pointing to Legosi

A joke? Sorry I'm not really a comedian" he replied

The mood definitely changed and I could feel malice radiating off Melon. I put my guard up waiting for him to do something

" Do you have anything that could give us a good time? Like cards or candy?" Melon said putting his hands in his pockets

Legosi started patting his pockets and I realized what was going on

"LEGOS-"

BANG

I felt a sharp pain in my chest and fell backwards as I heard another shot

"You guys are jokes" Melon said walking away

My mouth instantly started filling with blood and I started coughing

"Damn...he must've shot my lung" I thought

I kept forcing myself to cough up the blood so I wouldn't drown myself in it. But god, was it excruciating. I crawled over to Legosi to see he wasn't responding to the shot at all

Why didn't I push him down? Why didn't I take the shot? Why couldn't he have just shot me? Why am I so goddamn useless? Why does everyone around me...die?

I let out a small choked laugh. I keep talking about I'll lay my life down for him. I'm a joke just like Melon said

"Life fucking sucks anyway"

I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore and slowly closed them...

Chapter Text

-Legosi POV-
I slowly woke up to the sound of someone mumbling something. I started to remember what happened and shot up. I was in a hospital. I scanned the room and noticed the person that was mumbling was Y/N. He was sitting at my bedside in a chair. His head was laying down on the bed not facing me

"Now won't you listen honey, while I say,
How could you tell me that you're goin' away?
Don't say that we must part,
Don't break my aching heart" he sung very quietly

His voice was very hoarse and his breathes were heavy. I remembered he was shot too

"Y/N...?"

He didn't respond but kept humming. I went to touch him but my hand went straight through him

"A-AM I DEAD?" I yelled

I got up and saw my legs phase right through him. I also saw my body but I was more focused on him. I moved in front of him to see his face. His good eye was closed while his bad one was open. I also saw dried tears on his face. How long has he been waiting here? He didn't have a shirt on and his chest was wrapped in bandages. I started to cry too

"Why do I keep hurting him?" I thought

All I've done was pull him into my bullshit and he would get hurt. Maybe I should...break up with him

"You know he cares about you, alot"

"Yeah but all I do is h-"

I turned around to see who was talking. It was my mom

(Skipping the whole talk Legosi has with her)

When I went back to my body I saw that Y/N hasn't moved an inch. I sat on the bed and aligned myself with my body and somehow that let me join my body again. I opened my eyes and rubbed them. Y/N didn't seem to notice. I just stared at him as I thought about all the stuff I put him through. Should I break up with him? I probably shouldn't. Not right now atleast

I reached over and flicked his ear. His ears perked up but slowly went back to drooping

"Y/N?"

He shot up and faced me. Before he could even form his first word he started coughing

"Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah... I've been through...worse" he said out of breath

Tired from coughing? It had to have been from his gunshot

"Where were you shot at?"

He looked away from me and shrugged. I was going to ask him what that meant but he cut me off

"Enough about me. Are...you okay?"

I sighed

"I'm fine but I want to know if your fine"

"Yup, see?"

He pulled the bandages off to reveal the gunshot wound on his chest. It seemed to already have healed

"Are you sure you're okay?"

"Y-yup"

"Why'd you stutter then?"

"I was holding back a cough" he said smiling

I looked into his eyes and he didn't seem to be lying but the look in his eyes made him seem...feral. He moved on top of me

"What about you though?" he said lifting up my shirt

I was shot in the stomach so it wasn't as bad as the chest. I didn't mind him being this close with me. In fact it was reassuring to know this side of him was in tact. But he started to lick the wound and he started licking lower. But I decided not to stop him

"Oh shit. We're doing this?...Wait can I even do this?" he asked

He took a deep breathe in but immediately started violently coughing

"Are you okay?! Do you need something?!" I asked

"No just *COUGH* give me a second"

This isn't just him being sick. He definitely was shot in the lung. I couldn't imagine the pain from just breathing. Let alone coughing like this

"C'mon let's get out of here" I said

When I said that he started calming down

"Oh? And where are we...going?"

"You'll see"

I grabbed my clothes and wrote a note to the doctors as Y/N snuck back in his room to grab his clothes. We then both snuck out

"How long have we been there?" I asked

"A week. I woke up two days ago though"

And he must've been at my bedside the entire time. I feel like I'm ruining him physically and mentally. We walked for awhile until we got to the Deep Night. Y/N knew I was just some place to eat at. I told him to find a seat while I got the food. I got noodles but I saw that some pandas were selling bamboo and got it for Y/N. I probably shouldn't believe a word Melon said but I don't see a problem with testing. I rejoined him and gave him his stuff

"Bamboo?..."

"Yeah. Maybe you'll taste it. Melon did say your were part panda. Why not try?"

"It's raw bamboo..."

"What does that mean?"

"It has cyani- whatever. What do I have to lose?"

Cyanide!? I tried to stop him but he was already eating it. I got up and tried to make him spit it out but he held me back

"Relax. Look, I'm fine"

"Why did you do that?!"

"It's fine Legosi. I guess I really am part panda. I even tasted it" he said kissing me on the cheek

This isn't normal at all! And it seems like he took it as a joke or a gamble

"What? You could've died if you weren't"

He got up and pulled me by my waist into him

"I know. That would've sucked. I wouldn't be able to see you anymore"

The look in his eyes and the way he smiled made him look like a devil. I pushed him off me

"Stop acting like this is just some game!" I yelled

His sinister expression disappeared as he drooped his ears

"I-Im sorry. I should've c-considered your feelings"

I couldn't stay mad at him. I couldn't be mad at him in the first place. I sighed

"I'm going to go apologize to Yafaya about Melon. Please come with"

He nodded and followed behind. I couldn't leave him alone anymore. He might...hurt himself. While we were walking I had a sudden realization

His old group were killed by guns. He probably had to re-live that moment with me. And he just found out that his "adoptive" dad is actually his real one. Not to mention he was shot in the lungs. But despite all that he still smiles at me and worries about me. And I really thought about just breaking up with him and leaving

"Y/N I'm sorry for bringing you into this"

"D-dont be. You didn't shoot me"

"I also want you to worry about yourself first before you worry about me"

He didn't reply so I looked back at him. He looked away of course. I brought him into a hug

"Please?"

He looked back at me with a shy smile

"Yeah yeah let's just go"

We went to the police station and we were welcomed to the top floor. Once there I immediately apologized to Yafaya

"It was my idea to let Melon go. I don't know how to make up for it"

"No. It's my fault for enlisting you guys help despite your inexperience" he replied

"How about you give us another chance to capture him? I gotta pay him back for this" Y/N said

"Are you sure!? I think that you should rest for a little longer" I said trying to stop him but he ignored me

"We spent all of that money you gave us anyway. Might as well let us finish the job"

"What?! How? You've guys been in the hospital most of the time" Yafaya asked

Y/N shrugged but I knew he was lying. I should call him out on it so he doesn't pursue Melon but who am I to stop him? I'm the one who caused his drive. Yafaya looked like he was thinking about it. Im the end he told us to leave but he gave us Melon's mask, telling us to search for him ourselves. We both left the station and Y/N immediately wanted to start looking for him. I told him no and that we were going to go to the condo to rest but he pulled something I didn't think he could do. Puppy eyes. And weirdly enough his gray eye made him look more adorable. I gave in and we started looking for his scent in the ghetto. Y/N said he picked up his scent and it lead to a tattoo parlor

"He might be in here. Be on your guard" he said going in

The second we went in I froze at the smell of blood. Y/N wasn't fazed

"It always smells like this in here" he whispered

"Do they kill people here?!"

"No...maybe? One of the tattooist is a sloth. So yknow...slow movements with the needle. I actually got all mine from him"

"That's...concerning"

"I don't think he's here. His smell isnt that strong. I'll ask around. Try blending in"

He then walked over to one of the employees. He told me to blend in so I decided to get a tattoo. Y/N asked for someone named Holger. I just sat in a chair but then I realized Y/N said "All mine" earlier. Y/N was pulled into a booth that had a curtain. I couldn't see him but I heard him

"I want 27 on my hand and I want you to retrace my other ones" he said

Whoever he was talking to didn't respond. I heard movement on the other side of the curtain. After that I heard a needle start and not too long after, Y/N growling.  Usually he hums when he is in pain so it couldn't have been that. Was he being threatened? Was this his way of getting my attention? Before I could dwell on it any longer another animal went into his booth with a mop

"Ugh another freak who likes Holgers way. I'm not cleaning this up" she said

She then opened the curtains to reveal Y/N laying down on his stomach getting a tattoo on his calf. And "Holger" was the sloth he was talking about. He was facing me but his eyes were closed and his growling was pretty loud. I whispered his name but he didn't hear me. I stomped on the ground pretty loudly and that got his attention

"Hey~" he said in a seductive way

"What are you doing!? I thought we were here for Melon"

"We are. That lady said someone else came here for Holger and I think it was him. He also hasn't said anything, his conversation might be delayed"

"And why are you getting a tattoo from him?!"

He didn't say anything but just stared at me with an admiring look. But his eyes were like this morning...feral

"It's hot when you get mad"

"Just...you need to slow down. I feel like we're doing too much at the same time"

"We can go home if you wa-"

"Welcome Melon" Holger cut him off

Y/N started smirking with a "told you so" kind of face. We listened to everything he said and it ended with him basically saying that Melon went to the sea. My tattoo didn't take long but Y/N's took awhile due to who was doing it. He seemed to be getting off on the pain. I didn't think much of it since he always did seem to be a masochist.

Once his tattoos were done we left to the nearest beach. He had a tattoos of multiple names underneath eachother on his calf and got the number 27 on his hand. I couldn't see the names due to the excessive amount of blood covering them. I sat down on the sand while he stood. Both of us staring at the ocean

"Whose names are those?"

"Suge, Collin, Andrew, Jalen, Josh, Xavier, Adam, LeBrae, and Dad. My...old friends..."

He was talking about his old group. I wonder if it's okay for him to talk about it right now. He's been through alot

"Dad?" I asked

"Not Gouhin. We just called him that since he was the oldest. His real name was Zane"

I noticed he wasn't stuttering at all. Was that a good or bad sign?

"Speaking of Gouhin I should probably text him or something about the whole half panda thing"

I stood up and brought him into a hug

"W-what's this about?"

"I-I don't know. Just felt right to do it"

He held me back tightly. He was going to say something but pushed me away pretty hard. And I fell back on the sand

BANG

It was a gun! I shot up and saw Y/N staggering backwards

"I'm surprised you're alive. I thought I shot a lung last time"

I looked over to who was talking to see Melon and the Shishigumi. Y/N didn't fall but instead stood tall. He was shot in the shoulder and was licking his wound

"You'll have to try alot harder than that to kill me"

I went to get up but the lions restrained me while Melon kept Y/N at gun point

"I see you like Holgers work as well. But to think you guys believed everything he said. You guys really are comedians. Anyway I have stuff to attend to so I'll leave you with my henchmen. You guys can eat them both. Make sure they're dead this time" he said walking away

"Soo do we fight? I know Louis is friends with you guys" Y/N said

A bunch of them tackled him and tied his arms up along with giving him a gag

"Yo wolf boy. Remember me from last winter?" Free asked

"Yeah...long time no see" I replied

They went on saying that they themselves didnt like Melon either. But they blamed it on us since we killed their original boss. They tied me up as well and pushed us both into a van. I looked at Y/N and he was expressionless, looking at the ground. We didn't drive long and our destination was a cliff. Once we were out of the van they got chairs and tied us to them. And filled buckets with cement and forced our feet into them. They pulled us to the edge of the cliff

"We're going to make you guys experience the death felines hate the most. We're just going to drop you into the ocean" one of them said

They said that they knew some way to stop Melon. That he had some weakness. The presumed leader of the group took our gags off and asked if we had any last words

"If we come back here in thirty minutes could you tell us Melon's weakness?"

They were all surprised by what I said but Y/N kept looking at the ground with a sad expression on his face

"I...I don't think you understand the situation you guys are in. Your legs are buried in cement. You're tied to a chair. And we're throwing you into the ocean. Do you understand?" Free asked

"I'm calling your bluff. But if somehow you do make it back I'll tell you both" the leader said

Y/N then shot up

"We're doing request? Well if thats the case I want you guys just to drop me. And if I make it back you guys tell us his weakness" he said

What was he thinking?! The lions actually agreed to it

"I didn't expect some canine to be able to experience empathy. But if you don't make I back within thirty minutes we'll drop him in too"

I was hoping on using the the language Zaguān taught me but he was never there to learn with me. So how can he escape?

"Y/N wait, don't do this!" I said trying to stop him

He looked at me with that feral look in his eyes with a sinister smile

"Cya" he said in a low voice

He pushed himself backwards into the water as I started to cry. The other lions just waited around waiting for the thirty minutes to be up. He was gone. And it was my fault. I pushed him to the point where he thought his own life was pointless. I should've talked with him more. I should've hugged him more. I should've kissed him more. I should've...loved him more

Twenty five minutes passed

"Looks like he's gone. It was dumb of him thinking he coul-"

"Hey! You bum ass lions! Come help me!"

It was Y/N. He was limping up the cliff

"I'll be damned. You guys help him and let this one free" the leader said

They brought out a sledgehammer and broke the cement on my legs and cut my bindings. I ran over to Y/N who was being helped by another lion. Once I got to him I punched him in the face

"Do it again~"

I broke down and hugged him putting my face in his chest

"I thought I lost you!"

He pulled my head off him so our eyes could meet

"I'd never leave you" he said kissing me

"How the hell did you survive?" One of the lions asked

They took him to the back of the van and he sat there

"It was more or less a gamble. When I fell I knew I wouldn't last long in the water with my lungs like this. So I had to get free as fast as I could. When I fell I had to break the cement on my feet against a rock. I could've fell on a rock or could've been impaled by one but luck was on my side. My legs hit a rock and my body was fine but I think I sprained my foot though. I ripped the bindings on my hands apart with sheer strength but dislocated one of my shoulders in the process. I used my other hand to get myself free from the chair. I also had to relocate my arm so I could swim upwards. But in short... I'm cool"

The chance of falling on a rock, spraining his leg, dislocating his leg, the shot from Melon earlier, the bloody tattoos, then having to walk from the shore all the way back here. He seems invincible. But I know it's hurting his mental state

"I don't think I'd be able to handle all that" one of the lions said

"Yeah whatever. Tell us Melon's weakness" Y/N said

They told us to get into the van and that they'll tell us somewhere else. We ended up going to a restaurant. We went to a booth but Y/N laid down in it with his head in my lap, the other lions couldn't see his face. They then explained that they didn't have the information themselves but that a pure-blooded supremacy group did

"So what? They just kill hybrids?" Y/N asked

"Don't know. They rarely make an appearance. But the point it is since they target hybrids they must know some kind of weakness. Their boss is a civet and he controls a bunch of bats. There group name is from the high quality coffee the civet makes, Kopi Luwak" Free explained

After that we decided to go look for the group. I helped Y/N up and let him lean on me. But once we left, the lions said they wouldn't let us follow them unless Louis was with us.

(Just gonna skip to Louis arriving and you guys leave to find the Civet)

We came to a intersection and the lions couldn't decide on which way to go. Y/N said he knew about the group and that the way was up some stairs but the lions didn't believe him

"It's that way!" he yelled

"How can a dumb canine like you know where to go?" Dolph asked

Y/N started growling and barring his teeth but I pulled his ear to make him stop

"I hate that we have to do it in front of some wolves but you guys pull a strand of hair from your manes" Dolph ordered

They did as he said and handed him the hairs. Y/N rolled his eyes and explained that felines do this to "make decisions they're too dumb to make on their own". The hairs pointed to the stairs and thats the way we went. It didn't take long until we found the Kopi Luwak hideout. The civet immediately introduced himself as Deshico. He didn't seem as bad as the Shishigumi thought. He said he even knew what Melon's public appearance. Dope offered that we'd do anything in exchange for the information. Deshico said we should negotiate over a cup of coffe and tossed us a bag

"There's one weeks of my poop inside. I want you all to get the coffee beans inside so we can drink Kopi Luwak together" he explained

There were a few seconds of silence...

"I'm not doing that" Y/N said

"I am" I said

"Are you insane?!" Dolph asked

"I came here expecting to fight! It's a cheap price to pay if all we have to do that to get information on Melon!" I yelled back at him

"If we work together we'll get it done in no time" I added

"What? No! I'd rather fight" Y/N said

I decided to pull what he did earlier and gave him puppy eyes with a small whimper

He took a deep breath and sighed

"The stuff I do for you..." he said smiling

We were given gloves and we immediately started getting the coffee beans. Y/N pouted the entire time so I nudged him from time to time trying to lift his spirits. Once we were done we gave the beans to the bats and they made each of us a cup of coffee. Y/N wasn't all that thrilled to taste it

"Can't you taste drinks?" I asked

"No. I just drink red soda so I can blame the color of my teeth on it"

"Wait are you a hybrid?" Free asked him

"Yup. So far I can only taste blood and bamboo. My dad is a panda" he explained sipping on the coffee

Once he did he immediately froze

"Can you taste it?!" I asked

"N-no"

I took a sip of mine and so did the other lions and immediately felt the urge to eat meat. But the taste of the coffee was a good substitute. We drank the rest of it in seconds. But once it was gone the urge only became worse and the only herbivore around was Louis. He talked to Deshico while we kept our distance. None of us could keep our eyes off him. But Y/N stared at me with a very intimidating gaze. He seemed mad at me

"Did I do something wro-"

He suddenly tackled me and pinned me to the ground

"We're doing this right now!" he yelled

The look in his eyes definitely belonged to a feral animal. And the way he sounded made him seem like a completely different person

"Doing what?!"

He didn't respond but instead placed my legs around his waist. He then took his shirt off

Oh...

"WAIT! WE CANT RI-"

He cut me off by covering my mouth

"Claw at my back!" he yelled starting to unbuckle his pants with his other hand

Before he could go any farther Free pulled him off me. He tried to bite Free but Dolph chopped his neck or something and he passed out

"Claw at his back? Is that a wolf thing?" Dolph asked

"I- uh" I was still trying to process what just happened

"Doesn't matter. Just put his shirt back on"

I put his shirt back on and noticed that he seemed so relaxed and unbothered while he was asleep. But just a few seconds ago we was like some sexual deviant. All that from the guy who stutters when he lies. Louis finished up the negotiation while we still kept our distance from him. Deshico whispered something to him then said we were free to go.

I was honestly kind of scared to do it but I had to wake Y/N back up. When I did he had the normal look in his eyes and even had a genuine smile on his face

"I-I'm sorry for how I acted"

"It's fine let's just go back home"

We walked with Louis and the lions for a bit then went out separate ways. Y/N seemed to be normal but I still had the urge to eat a herbivore. Y/N would catch me staring at one and would tell me I was

Once we made it back to the condo Y/N went in first. I closed the door behind me but when I turned towards the room Y/N was sitting on the the floor with that feral look in his eyes. I tried to ignore it and walk back outside but in the blink of an eye his hand was on mine stopping me from turning the knob

"Where are you going?" he said in a low seductive tone

So the whole time he was just acting normal?! I knew I saw him staring at me a few times

"Uh...nowhere! I was just making sure the door was locked!"

He stared at me as if he was reading my soul

"Well it looks locked to me"

"R-right"

I moved past him but he grabbed my hand stopping me from moving any further. I looked back him and he started growling and barring his teeth at me. I walked back over to him and tapped his nose which made him stop. He then pulled his hand back letting go of me

"I-Im sorry I don't know what came over me"

"It's fine Y/N"

After I said that he pulled me into his chest

"I just really REALLY want you to hurt me"

"WHAT?!"

"I DIDNT MEAN FOR IT TO COME OUT LIKE THAT!"

"Here just..." he said knocking me to the ground

And just like at the Kopi Luwak's hideout he was pinning me on the ground. The feral look in his eyes returned as he started licking my neck

"Y'know you're going to hurt me if you keep knocking me to the ground like that" I said but it fell onto deaf ears

He took my shirt off then his. It was kind of sexy seeing this side of him. Usually he just asks me what to do but now he was taking the initiative. It's a nice change of pace

"Bite my shoulder. Hard"

Or maybe it wasn't...

"You want me to bite you?!"

"Yeah!"

"B-But what if I hurt you?"

"That's the point!" he yelled becoming impatient

What the fuck is going on? I bit on his shoulder pretty hard and he wasn't fazed at all by it

"Yeah just like that"

Yup definitely a masochist. He started licking on my chest and stomach. I guess we were really doing this. He did his own thing while I started spacing out at the fact that we were finally doing it. I didn't even notice that he unbuttoned my pants

-Legosi POV-
I was slowly woken up by the pain and soreness all over my body...well there was one specific sore spot. He didn't hold back did he? Wait what DID we do? I opened my eyes to see my arms covered in blood and a knife in my hand. I shot up and saw Y/N face down into a pillow with multiple bruises and wounds over him

WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?!

I looked back at my hands and realized I was holding a knife. It was a pocket knife that I've never seen before and it was covered in what smelled like his blood

"Did...I kill him? Why can't I remember!?"

I looked back at his body and it seemed derived of any kind of life. I looked back at my blood covered hands and my fur slowly turned completely white. He has always put his life on the line for me and I just kill him?!!

I started to cry

What went through his head when I did? Was he mad? Sad? Willing? Ecstatic?

I started to hug against his lifeless body

"I'm so sorry"

But suddenly I felt someone's hand press against my face and pushed me back

"Ugh you smell like me"

It was Y/N. He turned to look at me with a smile on his face

"Wait were you crying? D-did I do something wrong?" he asked

He sounded so grown and mature last night but now he sounds like a kid. I didn't respond and just hugged him tightly

"You're Legosi...right? Why is your fur all white?"

"What happened last night?!" I asked

A smug smile spread across his face as he placed me on top of him

"Don't you remember? You were perfect" he said kissing me

"But what about the blood?! The knife? And your wounds?"

"W-well....I kind of forced you to hurt me. Bites, scratches, punches, ect. We didn't actually use the knife I just put my blood on it and had you hold it in your mouth. Did I go too far?"

I held him tighter

"No it was perfect. You're perfect"

"Yeah I know" he said as a joke

I couldn't help but think of all the times he put himself in harm's way for me. It's my turn to do the same for him. I pulled away from him and grabbed his face

"We will get married. We will have kids together. No matter what anxiety we may face. No matter what nightmares we may have. We will wake up in the morning and be happy together. We will make a family that is always happy! We will be happy!! No matter what!!"

He was stunned by what I said and his eyes became glossy

"...wait...kids? Will we get a surrogate? And if we do we'll be two dads. One of us will have to be the mean dad" he said laughing

I was going to tell him I was serious but I was cut off by something pressing against my stomach. I looked at him and he had a sinister smile plastered on his face. I looked down and noticed he was still naked

"Why don't we go for rou-"

"A-ACTUALLY I WAS GOING TO GET BREAKFAST" I blurted out

I quickly got off of him and grabbed a shirt and stuff to shower with. Thankfully my pants were on

"But what about thi-"

"I'll be back later!" I yelled leaving the room

Once I closed the door I leaned back on it and stared at my blood covered hands

"I'll protect him!" I said to myself

I had lied about the whole breakfast thing and instead I was going to take out Melon for good. I showered and got dressed. And headed for the ghetto

-Two Hours After Legosi left-
-Y/N POV-
I started waking up again. I must've fell asleep after Legosi left. How long has it been since he left? Couldn't have been that long. I got up and put my pants on. I grabbed my phone and saw that Jack had just sent a message

"Hey Y/N. Legosi wanted me to tell you that he's hiding out here at the school"

Hiding out? Did something happen? Was he hurt? Without thinking about it I ran out of the room and headed for Cherryton

After running about halfway there I realized that I didn't have a shirt. So a wolf with blood, bruises, and bite marks was running through the city. It didn't take long until officers started chasing me. I got on all fours and outran them and got to Cherryton

I couldn't just walk through the front of the school so I went to 701's window and climbed up to it. Once I did I was met with  five familiar faces with Legosi's back towards me. He was telling the other canines something and didn't notice they were all staring at me. I held my finger up to my mouth telling them not to say anything. They didn't exactly agree to it but they stayed quiet. I snuck in and immediately put Legosi into a choke hold

"Legosi~" I cooed

"Why am I here?"

He didn't reply but instead closed his eyes and started pouting basically saying "I'm not telling". On the way here I kind of guessed that he went after Melon by himself. But I didn't know why he came back to the school. I tightened my grip

"You went to fight Melon by yourself, huh?"

"Are you okay Y/N?" Durham asked

I let go of Legosi so I could focus on making up a good lie

"I uhhh...fell down some stairs"

Legosi was catching his breath while the canines stared at me

"So the stairs bit you as well?" Jack asked

"Not to mention you really smell...like... Legosi..." Collot added

The canines then huddled together leaving me and Legosi out of it. I sat there waiting for them to stop as my adrenaline from running started to die. My chest suddenly tightened and my breathing became labored

Really? Now?

Legosi and the other canines took notice of my condition. Each time I took a breath the pain only intensified

"Is everything alright Y/N?" Jack asked

"Y-Yeah just-"

I started coughing and raised my hand to my mouth. Once I stopped the taste of blood was left in my mouth. I looked at my hand to see it covered in it as well. I immediately started to feel dizzy. I held my other hand out to the canines trying to say I'm okay

"I'm okay...okay...just give me a second"

It only got worse and my eyelids started to feel heavy. I leaned back on the wall rubbing my eyes trying to stay up. Legosi knew that it had to have been from my gunshot wound

"Stay up Y/N! Take slow steady breaths" he said tapping my cheeks

I tried humming to distract myself but it only worsened my breathing. I tried to focus on Legosi's face but couldn't. The other canines were all running around not knowing what to do which earned a chuckle from me. The last thing I remember seeing before losing consciousness was Legosi's distraught expression

...

When I woke back up I was in a hospital

"Was this necessary?" I asked myself

"Yes actually"

I snapped my head to my right to see a nurse. My instincts nearly made me claw at her face

"What happened to me?"

She wrote something on a clip board before responding to me

"You reopened the gun shot wound on your lung, which needed surgery. And your blood supply was low, making you anemic"

I looked at my arms and body and saw that every wound was patched up. It didn't hurt as much to breathe either. How long have I been here?

"How long have I been here?"

"Well today is day six. Another wolf, a friend I'm assuming, comes in here and just waits for you to regain consciousness"

She must be talking about Legosi. Did he really see me this defenseless?

"When can I leave here? And where is my stuff?"

"You're belongings are right in that chair. But you can leave as soon as your father comes up here. We already called him"

Yeah I'm not ready for "that" talk

"Oh ok"

She flashed a smile and left the room. As soon as I knew she was gone I immediately pulled out the needles in my arm. I got up and grabbed my stuff. Which was only my pants, phone, and a pack of cigarettes I haven't used in awhile. I put my pants on and left through the window, I just so happened to be on the first floor. Once outside I text Legosi

"Wya?"

And in the next few seconds...

"You're up?!" he text

"Where are you?" again

"Wait I'm coming to the hospital" and again...

"I already left. I'm heading to the school" I text

"Ok"

I wonder how he feels about nudes? Questions for later...

-Legosi POV-
I was sitting on the roof of the school watching all the students pass by, hoping I'd see Y/N at some point. But randomly, I smelled him but didn't see him anywhere below. I focused harder until I felt someone tap my head

"I'm right here dummy"

He sat down next to me and stared off at the other students. I couldn't help but wag my tail and hug him

"...ow"

I immediately let go of him

"I'm sorry!"

"It's fine Legosi. What's a little pain?"

He then leaned over and laid his head on my shoulder. His eyes were closed but he had a smile on his face. While he was in the hospital I had listened to a song on his phone so I could hum it to him and see how he would react. I started to hum the tune but he didn't do anything so I decided to go with the lyrics

"Baby what you wishin for?"

His ears immediately perked up and he lifted up and looked at me. He had the biggest smile on his face

"Maybe you should wish it more?" he continued

"Maybe the world is yours?" I sung

"Maybe when it rains it pours?" he sung

We both laughed and he wrapped his arm around me neck and pulled me close. He let out a long sigh and the atmosphere changed

"So..."

I knew exactly what he was going to ask

"The answer is no. Not until you can run an entire mile with no lung pain"

I patted his thigh and got up. I looked back at him and he had that sinister smile plastered on his face

"I like it when you play hard to get"

He slowly stood up without breaking eye contact. Even though he was up he kept his body low to the ground. His smile grew wider and I realized what was going on

He was getting ready to chase me

He was waiting for me to make the first move. I slowly inched my way closer to the door to the staircase not breaking eye contact with him. Once I got a good distance away I made a bee line for the door. I could hear him start running too which was frightening. As I was running down the stairs and all I could hear was growling and footsteps

Somehow I managed to keep a good distance away from him the whole time. Once I was out of the staircase I ran through the halls. I also broke line of sight with him but I could still hear his growling. I came to the end of the hall and had to either go left or right. I took my shoe off and threw it to the left as far as I could and ran to the right. My smell would be on both sides but he'll have to guess which way to go

I continued to run for a little bit until I didn't hear him anymore. I started walking and saw that the drama club members were arguing with the basketball team. I walked up to them and was going to tell them to stop but that's when I heard heavy footsteps along with growling

Sigh

I turned around and was immediately tackled. We slid on the ground right in between the two clubs. Y/N looked absolutely ferocious as he pinned me down. His eyes said that he was extremely mad. And he had my shoe in his mouth which showed his fangs. And his growling was terrifying. The basketball team ran away scared as he just stared at me

I lightly smacked his cheek a few times and he dropped the shoe on my face

"What a cheap trick" he said licking my neck

I noticed the drama club was just watching so I had to push him off me

"C'mon let's go get you a shirt"

As we were walking back to the dorm he sort of hung behind me. But he randomly picked up speed and flashed a smug smile when he passed me. I couldn't just let him show me up like that so I started walking faster and passed him. Next thing I know we're both racing to 701

I managed to stay ahead of him but once we got close to the room he got on all fours. He got ahead in the blink of an eye. I couldn't help but smile at his attitude. I didn't know he had playful side like this

Once I caught up with him, he was waiting by the room's door. Once he saw me he ran and hugged me

"I love you Legosi"

One of the few times I'll hear him say it directly

"I love you too, Y/N"

"Also I-I want you to know that I didn't fall for the shoe thing. I-I just wanted to get it for you"

I couldn't help but laugh at his act of preserving his pride

"Of course Y/N"

-Y/N POV-
I was hanging out in the dorm with Legosi while the rest of the canines were in class. But he suddenly asked a question

"We should go check out the ghetto"

"Why?!"

"Well Bill said that it changed and I want to see how. Plus you should probably talk to Gouhin"

"I-I don't think I'm emotionally ready for that talk. But we can still go check it out. C'mon"

We left and once we got there I didn't notice anything different. Just the usual carnivores stuffing their faces with meat. But there were a bunch of signs that represented Melon and the Shishigumi

We walked for awhile until I picked up a familiar scent. I grabbed Legosi and pulled him with me to see Louis of all people. It seemed that he was selling himself for a million dollars. We snuck up behind him and examined the pricetag around his neck

"Really? I didn't know red deer cost this much" I said

"Do we need to give you this much to talk to you?" Legosi asked

Louis had this "Ugh. These two..." kind of expression on his face as he whispered for us to just roll with it. We walked around while Legosi kept saying stuff to him but he wouldn't answer

"Can you drop the price by maybe five zeroes?" Legosi asked

"10 dollars?! How cheap do you think I am? My list price was 70k!"

(Skipping the part where Louis takes you guys to the tower...sorry)

When we got out of the elevator and Legosi was on his inspirational shit again

"Let's all catch Melon together!"

"...A trio of two ex-convict wolves and a one footed deer? What are you talking about?" Louis said

Quick! Say something to boost morale!

"If it makes you feel better I only have one eye..."

"..."

DAMNIT!!

"This is a job for the Beastar! We can't do this ourselves!"

"You're right none of us are the Beastar! We're not aiming for that! But if it's the three of us...we could be the BeastarS!" Legosi said

Me? A Beastar?

"...Ive never heard that word before. What kind of word is it? Don't just make up a plural form" Louis said

Before anyone else could say anything, the floor under us suddenly gave in

I really can't just get a break huh?

As we were falling I grabbed Legosi and Louis and held them on top of me so I would take most of the impact. It was a pretty long fall and once we hit the ground I didn't die so that was a plus. But I was definitely hurt. Atleast Louis and Legosi were fine

"Are you okay Y/N!?" Legosi asked

"Yeah...just give me a second. Fuck this raggedy ass building"

I didn't move from my spot but it looked like we were in a basement. I didn't even notice the two other people down here until Louis said something

"Legosi run!"

I shot up to see Legosi fighting a rabbit with knives. I got up and blocked one of her slashes from hitting Legosi with my hand

She actually cut me...

A HERBIVORE managed to hurt me...

I stared at the palm of my hand watching the blood seep out from the cut. I licked it and felt something I never felt before

I wanted to eat this rabbit

-Legosi POV-
Y/N was just standing there staring at his hand and did pay attention to the rabbit choking me with a rope. I thought he would see me pulling her pants down but still nothing! Did he hit his head too hard earlier?!

I thought I was going to die but she eventually stopped. It turned out that both of them did know Louis and thats why she let me go. Once I was free I immediately pulled Y/N to a corner

"What's wrong with you? You just stood there!" I whispered

"L-Legosi...I know you want to protect all herbivores but I have to eat that one. I never ate one before and it HAS to be her"

D-did he just ask me to eat her?....WHAT?!

"You can't do that! You-"

He cut me off by covering my mouth

"I'm gonna do it. I want to kill her while I'm still sane. I'll spazz it if I can't eat her"

He had the scariest look in his eyes. Ive never seen him like this before. His words were filled with malice, hatred, and bloodlust yet he sounded so calm.

He let me go and turned around to face the rabbit. He got into a fighting stance and slowly walked over to her

What do I do?!

I couldn't think of anything else except...

"Wait Y/N!"

The second he turned around I punched him in the face as hard as I could. He fell on his back and was rendered unconscious. Everyone looked at me with surprised expressions

"Holy shit...he's going to kill me..."

Louis got up and pulled me over to the corner

"What did you do that for?!"

"H-he was going to try and kill the rabbit! What was I supposed to do!"

"What're you talking about?! I heard that the "Bloodstained Wolf" doesn't eat herbivores! He was probably just kidding"

Was he? No, the look he gave me said he was way more than serious. Louis sighed

"Just...patch him up and place him somewhere"

I decided to drop it and did as he said. I patched him up as I introduced myself to Kyuu and San. Louis told them about everything else but I could only think about Y/N

If it was really true that he never ate a herbivore before then what makes him want to eat Kyuu? If I could figure that out maybe I could change his mind about it

I sat him up and placed him up against the wall. I saw his face and saw his bloody noses that I already patched

"He's going to murder me huh?"

How long would he stay asleep?...

"Hey Degosi" Kyuu called out

It's Legosi...

"Youre moves weren't half bad. But your friend there fell for the most basic straightforward punch. But your rotten nature almost got yourself killed. You missed me on purpose right? Or was it instinct?"

I stared at her since she managed to figure that out in no time

(Skip to Kyuu showing off her Imaginary Chimera...I should stop)

"My fighting style is called "Imaginary Chimera". I spent a long time being livestock inside a cell, scared of carnivores. The chimera I conjured with those carnivores in mind is made of hatred and envy"

She started to spin around her and it looked like she turned into a huge wolf. All I could do was stare in shock at her fighting style

"Hate and envy, huh?"

I snapped out of the trance and saw that Y/N was up. He walked over to me with a terrifying smile and patted my shoulder

"Not bad Legosi! You completely caught me off guard! Now why don't you sit this one out? I wanna try fighting her"

I couldn't do anything but stare at his expression. His bad eye was closed but that only added to the malice radiating off him. I looked back at Kyuu and her chimera then back to him

"J-just don't go to f-far"

"Lighten up! You're stuttering more than me!"

I walked over and stood by Louis and San and watched Kyuu and Y/N. It'll be fine I just have to stop them if it gets too serious

"So how exactly does that work? I just focus on my own feelings? Sounds easy enough" he said

Kyuu was still spinning her rope so I knew he could see her chimera yet he didn't sound intimidated at all. Kyuu still had her unamused face on so she wasn't intimidated either

"I wonder what would mine look like if I focus my own hatred and sadness"

He took his hand and scratched his left arm, leaving very deep cuts. The room instantly filled with the smell of blood. He used the same hand he scratched himself with and wiped his arm with it. His hand was covered with blood as he licked it and wiped it on his face. His expression changed then we could all see his chimera...

It was horrifying to say the least. Even Kyuu stopped spinning her rope. He didn't look any bigger but he looked like he was completely drenched in blood to the point I couldn't even see his gray fur anymore. His tail was skinny and had a arrow tip and he looked like he had horns. And to top it all off his smile looked like it belonged to a demon. This is what the Bloodstained Wolf really looked like

I knew Y/N wouldn't hurt me but my instincts told me I was going to be killed. I couldn't even move my fingers because of how scared I was

No way this could be Y/N. The guy who stutters when he's nervous? The guy who droops his ears when I talk to him? The guy who always puts my life in front of his own? You're telling me this is him?...Maybe this is his true nature...

"What's wrong little rabbit? I can't get into this if you don't hurt me" he said slowly walking over to her

I had to do something or else he was definitely going to kill her. Should I punch him again? No it would only make things worse plus he'll dodge this time

He raised his hand overhead basically telling everyone "I'm going to cut her". Just as he was bringing his hand down to do just that, I actually managed to get in between the two. Just before he hit me he stopped himself. My heart was beating extremely fast just from being face to face with him. I wondered how Kyuu felt when all of his malice was pointed at her. This was nearly traumatizing. I could only stare back into both of his eyes. I expected him to push me out the way but his expression actually softened. And his chimera started to fade

"What're you doing? Move out of the way"

I couldn't think straight as my instincts were still telling me to run and all I could smell was blood. But I thought of something to say

"Like an earthquake..."

Those was some of the lyrics from another song I heard on his phone before. I thought it didn't work since he moved his face closer to mine and just stared me down. But it looked like he was trying to hold back a smile

"Yeah, I'm dealing with another lil heartbreak. FUCK! FINE! I'LL STOP...for now"

He turned around and sat against a wall. Nobody didn't say anything. We were still in shock from what just happened. The only thing that broke the silence was a sniffle from Y/N

"Are you guys gonna say something or..."

Still, nobody said anything but I walked over to him. He had his down so he didn't see me walk over. I squatted down in front of him and he put his hood on when I did

"What's wrong Y/N?"

"N-nothing. Just give me a second..."

It was relieving to know be was back to his normal reserved self. But I needed to know what was wrong so I pulled his hoodie back. He kept his head down so I started to scratch behind his ear

"C'mon. You can tell me"

His tail started to wag which seemed like a good sign

"Cmooon~"

"...I-It's just that why couldn't I do something like that back then?...I probably seem bipolar as hell right now"

It took me a second to realize what he meant. He was talking about his old friends...

"You guys have potential. Y/N your chimera is...overwhelming, but it could be even more fiercer. Both of you come see me everyday" Kyuu said

Even more!?

"It's late right now so why don't you guys stay here for the night? If you guys don't mind cells" San suggested

We took him up on his offer and I helped Y/N to one of the cells since he was still hurt from the fall

"You know you're making me feel like a old man"

"Can you walk by yourself?"

"..."

"Right"

I made a mental note that some songs can snap him from even the deepest levels of bloodlust.

I decided for us to both sleep in the same cell so I can keep an eye on him so we got another bed. It didn't take long for him to go to sleep so I was going to do the same. But suddenly Kyuu was in the bed with me...

-Legosi POV-
I was in the dorm just laughing at random things on my phone. The other canines weren't here since they had classes and Y/N left to do "something"

He was gone for about two hours and I was starting to get worried but I could hear someone come in the room. The canines weren't out yet so I assumed it was Y/N. Plus I could hear his humming. I couldn't see him due to the curtains in the bed being close. But I knew that he hummed when he was hurt or just happy. There wasn't a reason for him to be hurt so I just left him alone. Not to mention his humming was more upbeat. But I heard a loud thud hit the ground and immediately opened the curtain to see what it was

"Oh hey Legosi! Didn't know you were here"

It looked like he fell face first on the ground. His shirt was in ribbons and he was covered in cuts and bruises

"What happened to you?!"

I hopped out of the bed and helped him sit up

"I...fell down some st-"

"Don't say stairs. Tell me the truth"

"Uhhhh...."

His eyes wondered away from mine meaning whatever he's going to say will be a lie

"I...Ive got nothing. I just got into a fight"

"With who?!"

"Some randoms in town"

His expression seemed colder than usual. He would usually stutter

"How did it start?"

"I attacked another wolf but didn't notice his two other friends with him. I did pretty good for a 3v1. You should see them"

"You started it?!"

"Yeah. Sorry to tell you but I'm still feral and it's been awhile since I've been in a fist fight. Not to mention I haven't tasted anyone elses blood in awhile. I dont see the problem. Nobody died and I got my fix"

This was some kind of blood high, no wonder he hasn't stuttered. I slapped him

"Sorry" I thought

"Are you dumb?! You could've been killed! By them or your gunshot wound could've re-opened!"

He was still stunned from me hitting him. He had a shocked expression but it was replaced by a sad one

"I-I'm sorry. I should've thought about that first"

He started hugging me but in the blink of an eye, the front part of my shirt was over my head and he started licking my chest

"W-wait what if the other canines come back?!

"Let them watch. We're doing this"

He pushed me back onto the ground...

-3yrs before being enrolled at Cherryton-

"Pluto, I need you to do something"

I was just laying around so of course Zane would bother me

"Will I get paid for doing it?" I asked

"Yeah but it won't be that much"

"What're we at anyway?" I asked

"Almost seven mill. This shit is too easy. We're fucking gods" Josh chimed in

I got up and grabbed my jacket and Zane handed me a backpack

"So which kind, Zane?"

He pulled out his phone and tapped on it a few times

"A guy wants us to get him a whole rabbit. He's only giving us 500 for it, which is pretty low. He said he won't go any higher"

"Maybe we should get the rabbit, kill him and take all the money he has, then sell the rabbit to a higher bidder" Josh suggested

"That sounds alot better. Zane let's go find that guy. Pluto you go find and kill a rabbit" Josh directed

I gave him an agreeing hum and left. There obviously won't be rabbits in the ghetto so I had to walk around the city. I usually have my jacket to hide my scars but the ones on my face are bad enough to get people to stare at me. But I just had to bare my teeth to get them to stop

I eventually found a rabbit that was completely white. I tailed her for awhile, waiting for her to isolate herself

It looked like she was finally heading home after two hours. The street we were on was empty so I decided to strike

I ran over and covered her mouth along with squatting down to her level. She tried getting me to let go but her nearly pillow-like hits didn't work in the slightest. Her muffled screams didn't go far either

"Shhhhh~. It's sad ain't it? Don't worry I'll make it quick" I whispered

I took my other hand and shoved my claws in her throat and dragged them down her chest. Her screams heightened but in no time they faded into nothing. Her body became limp and I let her go and stood up. I let out a sigh

"Damn, I hate this part"

I picked her up with one hand and carried her into a nearby alley. The smell of blood was starting to get to me but there's no point in tasting it if I'm not hurt as well. Which is why the blood of carnivores is much better

In the alley I pulled out a trash bag and started ripping her limb from limb. Once only her torso and head were left I stood up and tied the bag

"Whew! Talk about gruesome" I said accidentally wiping my face with blood

"Hey! What the hell are you doing?!"

I turned around to see a middle aged wolf. The smell of blood filled the entire alley and with him being a canine, he must've smelled it a mile away. He seemed mad at first but his expression softened when he saw my face. Probably thinking something along the lines of "It's just a kid?"

"When I got here they were already like this. And I just got...curious" I said with my best innocent voice

I was playing the "kid commits predation by accident and curiosity" act. You'll be surprised how many people this tricked. And just like the others he came over and turned me away from the body. He pulled out his phone and looked at me

"God...what's your parents numbers, kid?"

I just said the first seven numbers that came to mind. And when he put the phone to his head, I pulled out my trusty pocket knife. He was older than me and I could tell he knew how to fight so I couldn't take any chances with a fist fight

I stabbed him in his leg and pushed the knife to the side, tearing the gash open. He let out yell and fell to the ground but he managed to slash at my chest and push me back. But the cuts were kind of shallow

"Still holding back big guy? C'mon I can't enjoy this if you're giving it your all" I said licking the knife

He tried standing up but couldn't and that was a definite turn off. I ran over and shoved the knife in his neck but the asshole managed to get off one last punch. I stepped back as he pulled the knife out and tried to stop the bleeding but that obviously didn't work

He eventually gurgled his last breath and I let out another sigh. I went over and picked up my knife and licked the blood that was left on it

"I hate killing other canines. If only you minded your own business"

I searched his pockets and took whatever money he had. I picked up the trash bag and put it in the backpack. I stuck to the alley's on my way back to the rest. I managed to wash off the blood that was on me but the smell kind of stuck

Once I made it back to the hideout I could tell Zane and Josh had just got back since the smell of blood was stronger than usual. The rest of the gang was here too but I just dropped the backpack on the ground and plopped face down on the couch. But the second I did, Zane pushed me to the floor

"...ow"

"You'll get blood on the couch. We just bought it!"

He ran around trying to find a towel to wipe off the blood that did get on it as I stood up

"How did it go on you guys end?" I asked

"That bastard only had seven hundred dollars! It wasn't worth it since me and Zane nearly got shot" Josh informed

"Why don't we get guns? It'll be alot easier" Suge asked

Suge was sitting on the floor and Lebrae joined him

"Because part of our gangs gimmick is that we use just our hands and close range weapons. I've told you this" Lebrae informed

We all treated eachother like brothers but Lebrae and Suge were the only ones related by blood

"Anyway looks like you got hurt out there Pluto. I doubt if a rabbit could do that" Jalen said

"I ran into another wolf. Sadly enough he held back against me"

Just as I said that Zane came back and immediately examined the cuts on me

"Aww he ruined the jacket I bought you. You're fine though right? I think we still have some first aid stuff still around" he said now running around looking for the first aid kit

It was a pink and white XO jacket and it was my favorite but I would never admit that

"Zane is definitely the dad of the group" Suge said

"He's kind of a pushover, huh?" Adam teased

"Shut up! Pluto's the youngest so we should look out for him" Zane said

Zane started patching up the wound on my chest which kind of made me blush

"I-I can do this stuff m-myself!"

"There goes the infamous stutter! To think a feral animal could stutter from being flustered" Josh teased

"I know right? I expected being feral would feel different. I don't even crave meat like that anymore" Suge said

We were all technically feral but we were all pretty much sane. Maybe there was some kind of reason for that? Anyway, after Zane patched up my wounds, Collin had something to say

"You know what? We should all go out and do something! It's a full moon tonight"

"Like what?" I asked

"We should have a competition! C'mon let's go outside!" Josh said

We did as he said and walked around the ghetto as he explained the rules. But it wasn't much

"We go into the city and rob as many people as we can. The wolf with the most money wins. We'll all meet up at that one park again in a hour"

This wasn't our first time doing this...

We got in a circle and put our fist together in the middle of us. We counted down and yelled our gangs slogan

"Rip their hearts out!"

We then split up and ran into the city. Mugging people, especially herbivores is extremely easy. I just went around pickpocketing as many people as I could. I got caught at around the thirty minute mark and had to spend the other thirty running away

Once I confirmed that I wasn't being followed anymore, I went to the park and saw that everyone else was there. I knew I lost since I only had fifty dollars and it looked like Zane was boasting about his amount

"Don't fuck with the leader!" he yelled

"Yeah yeah, whatever!...wait Pluto's here, let's see how much he got" Josh said

"I only got fifty..."

"And I got 700! What do I win?"

Out of us, Zane was the most bold and reckless so he probably held up a bunch of stores

"You win...a cup check. Fuck your kids! " Josh said kicking him in the dick

The rest of us couldn't help but laugh as Zane fell to the ground whimpering in pain. He tried to get up but he couldn't even move his legs. He just gave up and laid on his back, staring up at the moon. The rest of us did the same trying not to laugh. But it eventually became quiet as we were ensnared by the moons beauty

"Y'know you guys are bums. But you're all pretty cool" Josh said breaking the silence

"I think that's his way of saying he loves us" Xavier said

"I'm gonna kill you. But we love you too" Zane said

"That's not what I meant!" Josh said blushing

We laughed but then the spotlight was on me next

"As the youngest you should say something Pluto" Lebrae suggested

"Oh uhhh...I love you guys too. I hope we could stay like this forever...o-or s-something"

"Awww!" everyone said

I just rolled my eyes but I meant it. And I think that I didn't have a problem admitting that...

-Y/N POV-
I was somewhat peacefully sleeping until

"Y/N..."

I knew it was Legosi so I didn't want to bother opening my eyes

"Hmm?"

"oureitingourelfinourleepagain!"

I was too tired to understand what he said and too tired to ask. I just let out an agreeing hum and started dozing back off

"Y/N!"

I just tried to ignore him but then he tried prying my mouth open. I fought against him by keeping my jaw locked and started growling trying to make him stop but he didn't. I sighed and sat up without opening my eyes. When I did sit up I realized that my hand was in my mouth. And that I was biting down on it to the point I drew blood. My nose was still kind of messed up from Legosi punching me so I didn't smell the blood right away

I realized that he was trying to tell me "You're biting yourself in your sleep again"

"Oh uhhh...my...bad"

"It's fine Y/N, you can go back to sleep now"

I could do that or...

"You woke me up...so now I'm up" I said

I was still obviously tired by how slow I was talking and by the fact my eyes were still closed. But I started to wake up more and realize the smell of another animal. I started audibly sniffing the air with my eyes close cause I'm too lazy to just open my eyes and look for myself

"Are yo-"

"Wait Legosi. Has someone else been in here?"

He didn't reply back so I stood up and used my senses to find him. The cell was small so it wasn't hard. Once I did, I put my face right in front of his. I opened my good eye to see I was spot on

"So did you wake me up only to stop me from hurting myself or was there another reason~?"

He looked extremely nervous which wasn't wierd for Legosi but it was still weird. Something told me to look to my right and I did. Only to see Kyuu sitting in Legosi's bed with him. I then looked back to him

"Sh-should I just jump to conclusions or actually try and get an explanation?"

"I-I can explain!" he yelled

I sat back in my bed and motioned for him to go on

"She was training me! And I even made my chimera"

I looked back at Kyuu and she started lighting a cigarette. I then looked back to Legosi and stared him down. He didn't seem to be lying but that might just be me wanting to believe him. What am I talking about? Of course he wouldn't do anything like that

"Show me"

Juuust to be sure...

He showed me his chimera which happened to be this weird rabbit-wolf thing

"Why...Why does it look like that?" I said trying not to laugh

"I-I just think rabbits are co-"

I know it would be rude to cut Legosi off but ever since I woke up, Kyuu's presence is driving me crazy

"Listen, Kyuu. I'm not sure if you noticed but I want to eat you. I'm going to kill and eat you" I said bluntly

The cell was completely silent as me and her was just staring eachother down. We were both waiting to see what the other would do. Will I attack first or will she?

We were so focused on eachother, that I didn't notice that Legosi was now sitting next to me. But he eventually broke my focus by repeatedly waving his hand in my face. I sighed and wrapped my arm around his shoulders

"K-kyuu! What was you chimera mixed with?" he said trying to change the subject

"...It's a mix between a rabbit and panda..." she replied

"Panda? I thought it was a wolf. Are you sure we should be training under her, Legosi?"

I looked over at him but he seemed to be lost in thought

"It's the species of my master who saved me from being livestock. And he taught me how to survive in the BAM"

She couldn't be talking about-

"Is his name Gouhin?" Legosi asked

A surprised expression appeared on her face and I was disappointed

If Gouhin found out I killed someone he took the time to save and train, he'd probably kill me. What a turn off

They kept talking about it as I tried to just go back to sleep. I laid back down on the bed with Legosi still on it. But Legosi pointed something out

"He's his son"

...why? I kicked him in his side for bringing that up

"ow..."

I sighed and opened my eyes to see Kyuu staring at my face

"What?"

"Y-you're that wolf that was always in his clinic!!"

I think I know what she means by that. I wasn't in his clinic because I was hurt...

"You guys know eachother?"

"No. Everything from before I left Gouhin's clinic is like a fever dream now. Sorry if I don't remember you" I said bluntly

I turned and faced the wall since I didn't really want to talk about Gouhin. I started dozing off but I heard Legosi and Kyuu make a deal

"We'll change the back alley market at next months meat loving day. We're gonna take down Melon. There's no going back you two" Kyuu said

"Uh-huh" I mumbled

"Right!" Legosi said

-Gouhin POV-
I was going over some patient files but the rooms door suddenly swung open. And I pretty much knew who it was...

"Dad! Look!"

Y/N ran up to me and handed me a piece of paper

"It's you! And you're holding a bamboo sword!"

It was actually a pretty good drawing of me

"Thanks Y/N, but what did I say about coming into the clinic?"

His enthusiasm immediately disappeared

"To only come in here if it was important...But I wanted to ask you something"

I already knew what the question was since he's been asking about it alot lately

"And what's that?"

"Can I go out into the BAM? Please?!"

The kid's only seven but he's so fascinated with the place. But I guess that's my fault for raising him here

"What was the deal we made?" I asked

He rolled his eyes and sighed

"But I can't figure it out! I've already read all those dumb wolf books"

I told him that once he figures out why he doesn't have a sense of taste I'll let him explore the BAM. But he wouldn't be able to find that answer in books about wolf anatomy...for obvious reasons. Well I guess I'm the only one that knows that reason

"Once you figure it out I'll be happy to let you out of here"

He actually started growling and barring his teeth at me. This was new. I've never actually seen him mad but I've told him multiple times not to do that. I flicked his nose which got him to stop

"You know you're not supposed to bare your teeth at others"

He rubbed his nose and glared at me

"W-whatever! I-I'll kick your ass someday and go myself!"

Empty threats like this were a common occurrence though...

He stormed out of the room and slammed the door behind him. I just looked back at his drawing and smiled

-Legosi POV-
Me and Y/N had just got done training with Kyuu and we decided to go get some fresh air outside

But while we were walking around the BAM, he suddenly whimpered. He was kind of behind me and when I looked back, he was squatted down on the ground, holding his head. He kept whimpering and he looked so scared. Seeing him like this even made me scared

"What's wrong?!" I asked

A few people walked pass giving us weird looks

"D-do you smell that t-too?"

I sniffed the air but didn't smell anything out of the ordinary

"No...What is it?"

"I-...maybe I'm just imagining things. Let's hurry up and go...p-please"

He shot back up and tried to put on a normal face but his eye, nose, and the corner of his mouth twitched. I stood beside him waiting for him to go first, but he just stood there

"Uhh...Legosi? Do you mind walking in f-front of me?"

I just did as he asked but he still just stood there

"Yeah but why are y-"

He suddenly ran away in the opposite direction. I chased after him for what seemed like forever. I called out to him a few times but he didn't hear

"Y/N, Wait!"

He ran through the crowds, even knocking people over. But I apologized on his behalf

"Sorry!"

But he eventually stopped once he reached the back of another wolf. He was barring his fangs and looked mad. I was too far behind to stop him

He grabbed the wolf's shoulder and turned him around. He didn't attack him but I couldn't see Y/N's face anymore at this angle

But I could see the wolf. He didn't seem scared nor mad he just seemed to examine Y/N

The wolf then held the side of Y/N's face

"...Y/N?"

The wolf recognized him. Once I got over to them I just watched the reaction

Y/N brought him into a hug and I could hear the air in the wolf just leave his body. Y/N was atleast a foot taller than the wolf so he kind of picked him up while he hugged him. He then shook him side to side

"It really is you!"

Y/N was crying but he had the biggest smile on his face. And it looked like the wolf was tearing up as well

"Uhhh...Y/N! I can't breathe!" the wolf choked out

Y/N loosened his grip and put him down but he was still hugging him

Was this an ex of his?! Should I interfere?  Am I reading into this too much? Asking shouldn't be a problem

While I was in my own thoughts, it looked like they were talking more. I casually walked over and tapped Y/N's shoulder

"Whose he?" the wolf asked

I was just going to ask that...

Y/N broke from the hug and wiped his tears away

"This is Legosi! My boyfriend. And Legosi this is Suge!"

...Suge?!

"You're boyfriend? What happened to Bill? Plus this one seems...weak"

BILL?!??

"Nevermind that. How are you alive?! I thought you d-died"

"Man, how long ago was that? Two years? I don't know how I survived but I wound up in a hospital and miraculously survived"

Y/N put his hands on Suge's shoulders and his tail started to furiously wag

"W-what about the o-others? Did they live too?"

"I...don't know but I do know Josh and Zane survived. Josh lives with me but I don't know where Zane is at. I've been looking for both him and you. I've heard about a "Bloodstained Wolf" and knew it was you. And I've heard Zane has a kid that comes around here"

Y/N picked him up and hugged him again. This time spinning in circles

"I've missed you guys so much! I-I didn't k-know what to do w-without you guys! I-I-I-"

"Relax...Y/N. And you're...crushing me again..."

"Sorry..."

"How the hell did you get so big?"

It was weird but it was like I could see the walls Y/N usually has up, just disappear. They started walking away and Y/N motioned for me to follow them

"Where do you live now?" Y/N asked

"In a apartment in the city. It isn't the best but it's fine I guess. Josh is...still hurt from what happened that day, mentally. But I'm sure he'll be ecstatic to know that I found you!"

Y/N seemed confused for a second then he sprung up like he had a idea. He dug in his pockets and pulled out a key

"You guys can stay here! I own a penthouse there!" he said handing him the key

Suge stopped walking and stared at the key

"You...still have that money we saved up?"

"Of course! I couldn't just let it go to waste. I-I want you to take it too"

He pulled out his card and handed it to him. I wasn't sure how much exactly was on the card but I knew it was alot. And I didn't think this was the best idea. Is it wrong for me to think that?

"I...can't take this Y/N"

I didn't expect that...

"I'm not a lion but it's a pride thing. You deserve it more than me anyway. But I'll definitely check the penthouse out" Suge said handing the card back

Y/N just stared at the card in silence

"Listen Suge, I-...I'll talk to you about it later. For now I got to go"

I definitely didn't expect this either

Y/N pulled him to the side and they started whispering eachother. I couldn't make it out what they were saying but Y/N suddenly turned around and came back to me. Suge walked off in the other direction and I don't think they even said goodbye to eachother

"What happened?" I asked

"...nothing. Let's just go back to Kyuu"

This entire situation felt weird but I wasn't going to question it. Atleast he had his friend back

-Y/N POV-
I didn't tell Suge what my goal was exactly, but I'm sure he's smart enough to figure out what it was

Knowing that atleast two others survived that day, made me sure of one thing

I'm going to start my own "gumi"

-Y/N POV-
Legosi had just told Yafaya our plan to capture Melon before the 25th. But there was one problem I had with the plan. And that was the fact that we were capturing Melon. I wanted to kill him for shooting Legosi. But I didn't tell Legosi about my dislike of his plan. But the first chance I see to rip his heart out, I'll take it

"You know you could've used my phone. Or we could buy you one..."

He just started staring at me

"What?" I asked

"You should probably talk to Gouhin before we fight Melon"

This again...

I let out a long sigh and leaned against the wall behind me

"But I don't wanna" I said trying to change the mood

He didn't buy the kid-like act...

"So you're just going to avoid him for the rest of your life?"

If only...

"No...but how do you bring up the fact that your dad lied about you being adopted? I tried seeing it from his point but I couldn't figure out a reason why he would do that. Plus he said he had a wife right? He specifically said wife and not my mom. So just who is my mom? I...I wonder if I would've turned out different with a mother figure..."

My heart felt heavy at my own words but I wasn't sad

"It's fine Y-"

"Actually, wait. I will go see him. I'll be back in a bit. No...I'll be back tomorrow"

"Uhh ok. Why tomorrow thou-"

I left before he could say anything else

I started heading for the BAM while thinking how I was going to bring this up. I just hope he hasn't found out about the "gumi" I'm starting

I ended up walking aimlessly around for hours, still trying to avoid him. It was dark now and I subconsciously walked even further from the BAM. I let out a sigh

"Let's just get it over with"

It was dark out but he's still most likely at his clinic

I headed straight there and walked through the doors. But now that I was inside, I immediately wanted to leave

"Oh god, what am I doing? I should just-"

"Y/N?"

Damnit!

I turned around to see Gouhin. Why couldn't I just leave??

"H-Hey dad..."

Oh god it's already awkward. Hopefully I'm the only who feels awkward though

"Any reason you came here?" he asked

"Uhhh no? Do I need one to be here?"

His face said that he didn't believe. He walked over and pushed my head to the side, most likely looking for injuries. Or maybe new scars...

This actually made me mad. The fact that he's checking up on me after he's lied all this time. I clenched my hand into a fist and dug my claws into my palm

"I'm fine, dad. I just came by to see how you were" I said with a smile

He looked me up and down and turned around

"You seem different..."

I followed him

"Y'know, I feel different too. I learned that I'm stronger than most wolves. I can even fight large breed felines with no problem. But we've known this for awhile right?"

I had a normal tone but it was pretty clear that I was being passive aggressive. Plus it's obvious what I'm hinting at

"Hmm..."

That was all he responded with!

I bit down on my teeth and stopped following him

I walked around the clinic to see if anything has changed but nothing really has

I eventually walked into Gouhin's office and saw that it was the same as well

But something did catch my eye. A raw stick of bamboo

"Sucks that one of the two things I can taste is a damned plant" I said examining it

While I was blankly staring at it, I had an idea

I'll just eat it in front of him to show that I know about him being my real dad

...god that sounds crazy

I walked around the clinic with the bamboo still trying to think of what to say. But I was completely dumbfounded by all this. I suddenly came to a stop once I fully understood what I was

"...I'm an actual hybrid..."

I just stared at my hands for a second but I eventually put the thought to the side

When I did find him, he was working at a desk facing the wall. Might as well just say it...

"Y'know Gouhin... I've never tried bamboo before"

Silence...

"Maybe I should try it so see if I could taste it"

"Y/N if you know you're not a pure blooded wolf just say i-"

I cut him off by throwing the stick of bamboo as hard as I could near his head

"Why the fuck didn't you tell me?!"

"Y/N-"

"This is THE dumbest shit I ever heard of!  Why would you lie about that?" I cut him off

"I did it to protect you"

His calm tone got on my nerves. I clenched both of my fist hard enough to draw blood

"Protect me?! From what?!"

"I had my own enemies and hybrids aren't exactly the most accepted thing in the world"

That was it? That's all?

I released my hands from their grip and blood ran down them

"...fight me"

"What?"

"I want to fight you. For real this time. No holds barred"

He gave me this annoyed look but he started cracking his knuckles

"You sure you want to do this kid?"

I licked the blood from my hands and got ready to fight

"Yeah..."

I waited until he was fully ready to do anything. And once I saw that he was, I ran over and tried to retrace the scars over his eye

He managed to dodge the attack but I still manged to scratch him a bit

Even though I drew first blood, I was in a bad position. My attack missed and now I'm standing in front of Gouhin as he reared back his fist

"...damn it..."

He didn't waste anytime punching me square in the face. He hit hard enough to definitely break my nose and knocked me back

"Fuck! You couldn't have held back a little...?"

I tried comforting my nose but nothing helped. Not to mention my vision was hazy and I was close to losing consciousness

"You always rush in when you're mad. You should work on being less predictable"

"Really? You're going to lecture me on my fighting now?"

I sat down on the floor and sighed. He left me there as he sat at his desk again

It's been awhile since me and Gouhin fought but it always ends the same way. He'd knock me out with one hit and the fight would be over. But in a way this was nostalgic

"I just want it to be known that this doesn't count as our all out fight"

He just hummed again

I kept rubbing my eyes to stay conscious but it didn't work

When I did regain consciousness I was in one of the patient beds and my nose was back in place. I got up and looked out one of the windows to see that it was morning

"Did...did he knock me into the next day?"

A small smiled appeared on my face as I left the room

I only came here to tell him I knew about my hybrid status and I did that. So there wasn't really anything left to do but leave

But on my way out, I ran into Gouhin again

"You're leaving already?"

"Yeah. Legosi's probably wondering where I am"

"Speaking of him, how's he? He's still using the dentures I gave him right?"

I had completely forgot he had dentures

"He's fine and yeah he still uses the dentures"

"What about things between you two?"

"W-why do you care?...We're fine"

He pulled out a box of cigarettes from his pocket and continued to light one. He held the box out to me but I declined

"You know...ever since you met that wolf you've changed"

I can never read this guy...

"Oh really? I don't think so" I said in a sarcastic tone

I honestly don't think I've changed. Well maybe at some point I did but I'm reverting back. I'm even trying to start a gang

"But anyway, if you don't mind Gouhin I'm going to go"

I tried to walk pass him but he stopped me

"You should probably have this"

He reached into his pocket to pull out a small piece of paper. He gave it to me and there was just a phone number on it

"Whose number is this?"

"Your...mom's"

I was surprised but I let out a small laugh

"I'm trying to me serious, Y/N..."

"I'm sorry. It's just the way you said it made you sound like a kid"

"My mom's huh? I doubt that I'll actually call. I think I've been doing pretty okay without a mom. Plus it'll be weird at this point"

I kept the paper in my hand as I continued to leave. I stopped once I reach then entrance and looked back at Gouhin

"Next time you keep dumb secrets like that, I'll kill you. Cya, dad"

I waved and left the clinic

I looked back at my hand and just stared at the piece of paper

"It wouldn't hurt just to save the number in my phone, right?"

I did just that and left the paper on the ground. I headed straight back to the condo

When I did make it back, I opened our room door to see that Legosi was also at the door. We just stared at eachother as our tails started to wag

"C'mere!"

I tried hugging and kissing him but he held my head back. And he was just staring at my nose

"What happened?"

Whenever he shows me that worried look, it just pulls at my heart. And I feel like I HAVE to tell him the truth

"Relax. Me and Gouhin just got into a little fight. But we're fine now. Everything's fine"

He stared at me as if he was looking for some kind of hint that I was lying. But he seemed to believe me since he stopped examining me and turned around

"Legosi..."

"Yeah?"

"I'm going to be gone for awhile so I won't be able to train with you and Kyuu. Please forgive me"

His ear wiggled a bit as he turned back to me

"What are you leaving for?"

"N-Nothing really. I won't be gone long"

He seemed hesitant but a smile formed on his face

"You can go wherever you want Y/N. You don't need to ask me"

"Well...what if I want you to boss me around~?"

I walked over and pulled his body against mine. He started blushing as I pulled him into a kiss

"Legosi...please never change"

I had just came back to the condo after finding some people to join the Ketsuekigumi

Perfect name by the way

I haven't seen Legosi at all for the past three days and I haven't slept either. I didn't expect him to be here since he trains alot with Kyuu. I was just happy that he hasn't figured out about the gang

I opened our condo door sleepy as hell so it took me a few tries to put the key in the door. I eventually got it and went inside. I closed the door behind me and just fell to the ground

I started dozing off but I noticed something

The room smelled like Legosi

I opened my eyes to see him just staring at me. Our tails started to wag as I stood up

"Legosi!"

I went to hug him but when I got close he slapped me

"That's...new" I said rubbing my cheek

"Where have you been?!"

"What do you mean? I told you that I was going to be gone for awhile"

"I thought you meant a few hours! Not four days!"

Was it really four? I don't even have the energy to even try and remember

"Just...don't leave like that again"

I sighed and sat on the floor. I lit a cigarette and leaned my back against the wall

"I thought you quit those"

I quit after the whole "shot in the lungs" thing. But after I was sure I was fine, I started doing them again. I just haven't done it around Legosi much

"Yeah...I kinda picked them back up"

After that there was only awkward silence. But it didn't bother me much since I was half sleep. I placed the cigarette in my mouth and folded my arms. I closed my eyes but I tried staying up just in case something came up

But after a few seconds of my eyes being closed, I started dozing off. I didn't even notice that Legosi had sat next to me

"You almost dropped this" he said holding the cigarette

"Oh...sorry"

I took it from him and put it out. I then laid back on his lap

"I'm really sorry for not being around. I just really need to do this"

The face he was making screamed "WHAT IS IT?!"

"To make it up to you, I'll answer any question you have. Besides where I was at"

He thought about it for a second and then his tail stood straight up

"Were...you and Bill a...thing?"

"Oh my god... you're jealous!"

"I didn't know you had a jealous side. That's kinda cute" I said pulling at his ear

"There was Bill. And if it wasn't for me trying to keep up my reputation, I'd still be dating him. Y'know, the whole canine and feline thing and how we're supposed to hate eachother. There was a female wolf but we didn't last long. I think she called my muscles toxic? I didn't know what she meant. We only lasted for a few weeks"

"You mean toxic masculinity?"

"Yeah that's it! And she said something like "I knew our zodiacs weren't compatible!" She even had one of those "Live, Laugh, Love" signs. She definitely wasn't for me. Imagine being cock blocked by your own zodiac"

"I'm gonna leave again in two days. And I'll probably be gone for four days again. Will you be okay with that?"

His expression saddened and it tug at my heart

"Are you hurting others when you leave?"

"Of course not" I lied

I came off sincerely enough to get him to lighten up

"I promise this whole thing will end soon" I said kissing him on the cheek

I was laying on my back, staring at the condo ceiling

"When are we leaving?! It's so boring waiting around!" I sighed

"Y/N...I wanted to talk to you about that..." Legosi said

Oh no...

"Yeah?"

"Do...you think that maybe...you could stay here?...Please?"

He can't be serious. I stood up so I could give him a response on the same level as that question

"Leave you to fight Melon? I dunno...you did ask nicely though. And you did add a please on the end...Sure! Why not? I'll stay here"

"Really?"

"No! Why would you even ask me that? I'm still mad that you left me to fight him that one time!"

He gave me a sad look but I wasn't falling for it

I turned my back to him but when I did, he suddenly hugged me from behind

"The answers still n-"

I was cut off by something being stuck into my shoulder

Legosi backed away as I turned around. Legosi had the most worried look I've seen yet

I pulled out whatever he stabbed me with only to see a syringe. A familiar one at that...

"I-I'm sorry Y/N! I have to do this myself! I can't bring you into it"

It was one of Gouhin's tranquilizers. When the hell did he get this?!

I dropped the syringe and immediately felt exhausted. I walked over to him as best I could but tripped. But he caught me

"I'm going...to kick...your ass"

Yup...that was the last thing he told me before he passed out. I asked Gouhin for a few tranquilizers a few days ago but I didn't tell him what for. He should be knocked out until tomorrow...

I cant worry about that right now

I'm face to face with Melon now and I can't let that distract me. We're both on a stage at the BAM. And a bunch of people are watching us but I couldn't care less. I plan on joining the turf war but I couldn't even right my name due to and out-of-ink marker

"Cut your losses, I want to settle this with you right now" I said in my coldest tone

"Heh? That's why you came here? By yourself? Where's that other wolf? You might need his help" Melon replied in his own cold tone

He started unbuttoning his shirt as I rolled up my sleeves. But just as I went to punch him, one of the members of the BAM management team got between us

"Sto-"

He was cut off by a man suddenly climbing on stage. I'm surprised I didn't notice the guy sooner since he was completely covered in blood. The smell was so strong, that I had to cover my nose

He had a gas mask on so I couldn't see his face. He didn't have a shirt but he was wearing a hoodie that was eerily similar to a leopards pelt

His chest and stomach was covered in scars and I couldn't help but think that...maybe this was Y/N?

He seemed slimmer than Y/N but besides that, this man and Y/N were like twins

He walked pass me and grabbed a marker from the management team. He even left shoe prints on the stage due to the amount of blood on him. Once I saw his back, I noticed that there was a knife in his shoulder

He tried using the marker to write something on the board but it was out of ink

He threw it behind him and walked up to me. He stared at me through his mask but I couldn't see his eyes due to the mask lens. The lens seemed to be modified into a one way mirror...

"...Y/N?" I asked

He didn't respond but he pointed to the knife in his shoulder

"You...want me to pull it out?"

He nodded his head so I did as he asked

"Ahhh! Much better. I have no idea how 'he' likes that kind of stuff"

His voice was deep and raspy

He then grabbed my hand and sniffed up my entire arm

"You must be...Legosi! I'm right, right? Just say I am"

How does he know me?

"Uhh...yeah..."

I have no idea who this guy is but he definitely wasn't Y/N. He said his "name" loud enough for the crowd to hear

He took the knife and walked back to the board. He rubbed his finger along the edge of the blade and used his blood to write on it

He started writing but stopped halfway through

"Wait wait wait...we definitely deserve to be on top"

He smudged the blood on the board, ultimately making a mess. He then started rewriting above the other groups

Once he finished he backed away, revealing a new group

"Ketsuekigumi" it read in big dripping letters

I've never heard of these guys before. Maybe this is their boss and he plans on joining the turf war. He'll just be another obstacle in my way

"The Ketsuekigumi huh? I've heard of your band of misfit murderers" Melon said

The crowd started whispering about this "Ketsuekigumi". Basically confirming what Melon said to be true

The guy reached for his head and started pulling his mask off

"Cool right? It feels amazing being back in the BAM. The smell of blood in my nose. The weight of my blood soaked clothes. The satisfaction from taking my anger out on others. It's all priceless! You guys can join me too! Root for the Ketsuekigumi at the turf war!"

His tone was calming and friendly but there was definitely an ominous feeling to it

The crowd actually started chanting the groups name. The man fully took his mask off and tossed it into the crowd

His face was scarred like Y/N's but he had both his eyes, confirming that there was absolutely no way this was Y/N

But I realized something about this man. He was just like Melon if not worse. If he's killing just for the fun of it and trying to get people to do the same, I'll take him down along with Melon at the turf war

"If you plan on being a participant of the turf war then today is the perfect day!" One of the management team members said drawing attention to himself

They explained to us that we were going to have to take a quiz of all things! And since me and this Ketsuekigumi guy were new, we were together on a team against Melon

There's no way we were going to be "working" together

Helping him would just screw me over in the long run. But here we are sitting next to eachother with skewers over our heads...

And now he's just staring at me with his head resting in his hand

"I still don't know what he sees in you..." he said

"...what?"

"Speaking of him. Where is he? I thought he'd be with you" he whispered

"I...don't know who you're talking about"

"The actual Y/N. I'm done with this whole acting thing"

So I guess they didn't just share the name. Would that mean Y/N's somehow involved with this guy?

"Why do you need to know where he is? And how do you know him?"

"He's my brother! Why wouldn't I want to know where he is?"

"Brother?! H-he didn't tell me anything about having siblings!" I blurted out

He laughed and held his left hand up, which happened to be covered by a white glove

"We're not related by blood...but I guess you could say our bond runs deeper than that"

He pulled off the glove, revealing a tattoo of the number 27. It was just like Y/N's...

"You were part of his-"

"Hey! Whatcha guys talking about?" Melon cut me off

"Oh! Before we start I should tell you my real name. It's Josh"

So he is the one that was with Y/N

"We'll be going onto the first question!" the management team said

Okay...here we go

(Skipping the actual quiz. But in short, Josh doesn't help answer the questions in anyway. The skewer nearly drops on Legosi but Melon saves him and let's both him and Josh join the turf war)

With all that out of the way, I was going to press Josh for more answers about the "Ketsuekigumi" but he seemed to disappear

Y/N wouldn't be part of it right? Of course not. He would tell me

But what about that thing he's constantly leaving to do?

I started walking back to the condo but on my way there a noticed a certain guy stop in front of me. And of course it was Y/N. If looks could kill I'd be dead...

"H-Hey Y/N..."

He didn't say anything back but instead started walking towards me

"I'm sorry I used a tranquilizer! I just didn't want you to get hurt again!"

He was now standing in front of me. I thought that he was going to atleast yell at me but instead he hugged me

"I'm glad you're okay. I was...worried"

"I'm...sorry for making you worry"

His grip tightened and I think I heard him sniffle

But before I could say anything he had his mouth on my throat. Slightly poking me with his fangs

"Don't ever do that again. Kay?"

"Y-yeah"

He pulled himself off of me and nearly fell back in the process. He was definitely still tired. I wonder how he woke up...

"Let's just go back to the condo" he said trying to balance himself

"Do you need help walki-"

"NO! If I fall and break my face it's your fault!"

I motioned for him to walk first which he did with no problem. But I made sure I was close behind him

Me and Legosi are both training with Kyuu after the shit he pulled. Josh and Suge seemed to have the gang under control so I decided to actually come this time around

Legosi has apologized about the whole tranquilizer thing multiple times but I keep telling him just to forget it

We're supposed to practice using our imaginary chimeras but Legosi asked me to sit out for some reason . So I'm just watching him and Kyuu train

But Kyuu suddenly had a proposal

"Why don't you two fight eachother?"

Thinking back on it now, me and Legosi never fought before. I wonder who would win between us?

I got up and walked over to him

"I could never hurt the oh so lovable Legosi" I said pulling at his cheeks

"Buuut he did ditch me to fight Melon...twice. And he did the same thing to fight Riz... And Riz was technically your first kiss too..."

I didn't notice that I started pulling on his face harder than intended

"Uhhh Y/N? You're hurting me"

I let go of him but I was still kind of mad. He took notice of this and kissed me on the cheek but he quickly changed the subject

"You wrote a letter to Gouhin, right Kyuu?" he asked

"You wrote him a letter? Heh...nerd" I said pointing to her

I was obviously joking but she took it to heart. In the blink of an eye she wrapped her rope around my throat and jumped over me

From behind, she tightened the rope and actually pulled me to the ground. So now she was standing in my chest with her foot on my throat. She's making it so hard not to eat her

"Y'know...that was actually kind of hot. Can you do it again but rougher~?"

She sighed and got off me, but not before aggressively stepping on my dick. I yelped and started rolling on the ground while yelling profanities. Legosi came to my side to see if I was okay

"Do we need to go a hospital?" he asked as a joke

I placed my hand on his cheek for added drama

"Legosi...I think we might have to. But maybe if you kiss it...it'll feel bet-"

Before I could even finish my sentence, he just left me and started following Kyuu

"I was kidding!" I said trying to get up

It took a minute but I caught up with them. And when I did, they suddenly stopped talking. Now the three of us were walking in awkward silence...

"What's going on? Did I miss something?" I asked

Legosi looked at Kyuu and she gave him this death glare. His ear started to wiggle as he turned his attention to me

"I was just thinking that Kyuu should tell Gou-"

He was suddenly cut off by Kyuu jumping and kicking his jaw

"Kyuu, I wouldn't hit on him so much if I were you. He's the only one stopping me from killing you afterall"

She looked back at me with that glare of hers but I responded with my own

"It's fine Y/N. I'm okay" Legosi tried defusing the situation

I tried ignoring him but he started pulling my ear

"You ruined the vibe I was trying to give off..." I sighed

"Sorry. I just don't want you guys to fight"

The way he sounded made me blush a tiny bit

"Whatever let's just go"

I didn't know where we were going but apparently we were going all the way onto Main Street so Kyuu could get a drink

My only problem with this was with all the people there. All I would get was stares and if I bare my fangs at them I'm the bad guy

I'm sure it was my scars that drew attention to me. I didn't have one of my hoodies today either so the ones on my arms were...exposed

I think I had a pretty bad scowl on my face since Legosi took notice of my frustration

I thought he would say something corny like "You shouldn't be ashamed of yourself"

But he didn't. Instead he took his jacket off and put it around my shoulders. I'd be lying if I said this didn't make me flustered a bit

"What're you doing?" I asked

He blushed as well

"I-It looked like you were trying to cover your arms. So I thought I'd give my jacket to you"

I sighed and put it on, trying not to make eye contact with him

"Whatever. J-Just stop looking at me. I look better in it anyway" I continued walking

He was going to say something back but he was cut off by Kyuu suddenly stopping

"Today is just the worse. Look"

She pointed ahead at a giraffe with a neck cast. He was sitting on a bench and the way he was sitting made him look like an asshole

"That guy...how could he just smugly sit on the bench like that?" Kyuu asked

Legosi went on explaining how giraffes usually get neck injuries and how this guy must've won some girl over

"Imagine breaking your neck just to impress someone. What a simp. Couldn't be me" I said crossing my arms

My left eye stung a bit after I said that...

"Kyuu if you like Gouhin, you should tell him about your feelings" Legosi randomly said

That completely caught me off guard. And it seemed to catch Kyuu off guard as well since she suddenly crushed the soda can she was holding

"I'm sorry, what? Feelings?" I asked

No one addressed my question. Kyuu even changed the subject

"Our break is over. I'm going to trip that giraffe over and hope he's injured beyond recovery. I want you two to try your best to stop me"

"...huh?" was all me and Legosi could say

She suddenly ran off towards the giraffe that was now leaving. I caught on before Legosi and chased after her

"You sure you wanna do this?!" I yelled out her

I didn't get a response but she did look back at me

"This kind of training seems to work for you Legosi! It's showing on your face!" Kyuu yelled back

I looked behind me to see that Legosi wasn't far behind. But the expression he was making was extremely rare

His snout was wrinkled, he was baring his fangs and his eyes had a certain level of ferocity behind them. I haven't seen him like this since we fought Riz

Not gonna lie, seeing him like this was a turn on for me. And I wanted to see how far he would go with this

"Legosi! If you don't catch up in time, I'll kill Kyuu when I catch her!" I called out

I obviously didn't mean that but it was like a part of me sped up to actually catch her. It didn't take long for me to only be focused on her

I've chased herbivores before but this was different somehow. It was weird but it felt...right. Like this was supposed to happen. Before I knew it, I was chasing her at full speed and I started growling

The second I was close enough, I tackled her

We rolled on the ground and once we stopped, without a second thought, I bit into her arm. My next thought was to bite down harder and pull on it as hard as I could

But before I could do any of that, Legosi ran into me. Like...really hard

I let go of Kyuu as both me and Legosi slid on the concrete

Now he had me pinned on the ground and was yelling. But I couldn't hear what he was saying

I was focused on the way Kyuu's blood tasted. I've tasted the blood of herbivores before but this wasn't like the others. This tasted...sweet

Before I could go into further detail, my adrenaline started to die along with the taste

But before I could go into even more detail, my adrenaline started to die and the taste started to fade. I realized that I was growling and that Legosi wasn't on me anymore

I sat up to see him hunched over Kyuu. In just a couple of seconds I realized how badly I fucked up

I tried to quietly get up and leave but the second I moved Legosi looked back at me

His face showed that he was without a doubt mad

He walked over and started dragging me by my ear. I saw that the arm of his shirt was torn and looked back at Kyuu. It looked like he tried to stop the bleeding by using the shirt as a bandage. But after I had just attacked her, Kyuu still had that deadpan expression on her face. Even though I could've killed her, she was completely unfazed by it. Seeing her like that made me want to do it again but now wasn't the best time

Legosi eventually let go of me and I just followed behind him in silence. It looked like we were going to the condo. I thought it would be best to apologize now than later

"I'm uhh...sorry"

I had no idea what else to say. I didn't get a response right away

"...Kyuu said we should start fasting..." he replied

I wondered if it was because of what happened or if she thought about it before hand

"...Cool"

"Fasting is different than what I thought it would be like. This pain isn't enjoyable" I sighed

Legosi just replied with a low hum

I couldn't tell if he was still mad about with what happened with Kyuu or if he just didn't have enough energy

He was lying on his stomach with his face flat on the floor. He seemed to be handling it worse than me so I decided to lay beside him. I laid on my back and stared up at the condo ceiling

"This is only for a few more days right? What should we do until then?"

Again, he just replied with a hum. I decided to push my luck

"I heard sex is a good way to pass the time"

And just like the last two times, he just hummed. He probably wasn't paying attention to what I was saying at all

"Well since you seem to be out of it, I'll take this time to reveal some embarrassing facts about myself"

"I actually wear glasses but I haven't wore them in years. They're hidden in the closet...I'm pretty sure there's a joke I could make but I'm too lazy to do it"

"Uhh...what else?... I have a fear of death. I know I probably shown you a 'fearless' side of me but that's not really me. I was pretty young when I grasped the concept of death and the fact that we'll all die eventually. I would randomly think about it and just cry. And it was even worse when I realized that Gouhin would die before me. But there are times when I feel okay if I just up and died. I look back on what I've done with my life so far and realize that I've done absolutely nothing worthwhile at all..."

I realized how quickly that turned and stopped talking

"Uhh...spiders are kinda creepy too..." I shrugged

I rubbed my eyes and tried changing the subject

"I also think the reason I bite myself in my sleep is due to this nightmare I keep having. I know I'm too old to say I'm scared of dreams but it's so vivid. I haven't even had any other dreams besides that one. And it's been like this for years"

"And I still feel like I'm not good enough for you. I feel like sometimes you just tolerate me. But when I'm with you I feel fine. My head is clear. I don't need to hum to make myself feel better. My nightmares aren't as frequent. My fears don't threaten me as much. I'm even starting to lose my stutter. And I like to think that it's all thanks to you. I love you...alot, Legosi. I can't express that enough"

I turned my head to see that he was staring at me. I immediately became flustered and stood up

"I-I'll be back later!"

I headed for the door but before I could leave, Legosi grabbed my hand. I know the point of everything I said was to be embarrassing but I didn't think he would actually listen. My blush deepened when I realized how personal it got

When he grabbed me, I just stood in place not wanting to turn around. But he turned me around himself. I turned my head away from him so he couldn't see my expression but that didn't help. But this is what I was talking about. Legosi is the only person who could make me feel like this. It's weird but I love him because of this

He pulled on my ear so that I could face him. And the second our eyes met, he wrapped one of his arms around my neck and pulled me into a passionate kiss. The way he did it was like the same way I do it

After a few seconds, we broke apart and he just walked away

"S-so we're going to act like that didn't just happen?"

He just ignored me again. I just sighed and sat back down on the ground

"I found them awhile ago. I guessed they were yours but I haven't brought it up yet. But now I want to see what you look like with them on"

"Please?"

I had absolutely no idea what it was but my blush just kept getting worse

"Fine!"

I put them on and I was surprised on how much better I could see. But that wasn't the point

"...well?" I asked

He got closer and examined my face. I couldn't look him in the eyes

"D-do you really have to do this? Just go ahead and say I'm sexy as hell. I know I am"

He suddenly hugged me

"You're perfect"

This definitely would've put me over the top but it didn't. In fact, hearing those words made me feel...guilty. He took notice of my sudden mood change

"Is something wrong?"

Due to me being too much of a pussy to tell him, I cut myself off and tried changing the subject even though I already said too much

That was the first thing that came to mind and it didn't connect with what I was saying at first at all

"W-When I do it myself I usually mess up somehow. So I was hoping that you'd help me this time around"

Legosi sometimes can be hard to read and this is one of those times. His face didn't really have an expression but he definitely looked suspicious of me. But after a couple of seconds a smile formed on his face

"Of course Y/N"

He walked off to find a pair a scissors while I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in

We spent the next few hours cutting my fur. Well, it was mostly him. I just explained random stories to him

"He eventually succumbs to his disease as he watches the sun rise"

"Uh-huh...tilt your head down"

I thought that he was still out of it. But that didn't seem to be the case with his next comment

"You know...I saw your friend Josh at the BAM when I left to fight Melon"

His tone had a cold feel to it and since he was behind me I couldn't see his face

"Really? Huh...cool that you guys met"

"Yeah...and apparently he's running his own gang. Do you know anything about that?"

"A gang? Really?...wonder why I wasn't invited"

My acting is definitely shit but atleast I didn't stutter. I internally gave myself a pat on the back for that

"So you don't know about it at all?"

I lifted my head and leaned back so my head was resting on his left shoulder

"Nope. Should I?"

He face was sort of dead pan so I couldn't tell what he was thinking

"What'll you do if we end up having to fight him?" he asked

"What can I do? If we fight him...we fight him"

We stared at eachother for a couple of seconds before I leaned back forward and try to change the subject

"It's getting pretty late, we should hurry up and finish"

He didn't respond. I could tell that he hasn't even moved

"Legosi?" I called

"Oh! Uhh...yeah"

Today was an okay day even though I was starving. But it took a slight turn when Louis showed up. We started drawing our blood but then Legosi randomly wanted to start questioning my self control

"You okay, Y/N?" he asked

"Yeah? Why wouldn't I be?"

"I'm just making sure since we're doing all this" he said motioning to the jar we were using

I glanced at Louis then back to him

"What? Do you think I'll spazz and attack you guys? Don't flatter yourself. Your blood smells weird anyway" I said as a joke

"WEIRD?! MINE?!"

"YES YOURS! YOU GOT SOMETHIN' YOU WANNA SAY?!"

"YOURS SMELLS JUST AS WEIRD AS MINE!" he replied starting to blush

"Pssh. This right here is exotic and rare, while yours is just-"

"CAN YOU GUYS SHUT UP!? You guys argue like two little kids!" Louis interrupted

"...he started it though..." I said under my breath

A couple of seconds of silence passed before I decided to break it

"Well...Louis you look like shit. Maybe we should stop for now? I think we got more than enough anyway"

I kind of regretted saying that. Why would I care whether or not if he wanted to keep going?

"I'm fine. I'm just a little dizzy from yelling. We'll keep on going"

Legosi went on with his "We couldn't have accomplished anything without you" schtick but I just tuned them out

I started thinking over what exactly was going on in my life

I plan on having a gang war at the turf war. But I also have to fight alongside Legosi. I haven't even tried calling that number Gouhin gave me

I was broken from my thoughts by Louis suddenly standing up. I didn't know what he was doing but his next action shocked me to say the least

He dumped the entire jar of blood over his head. The blood splattered everywhere as Legosi turned his focus to me

"Don't worry. I'm still fine...can't say the same for my shirt though. You even messed up your own shirt Louis" I said holding my nose

"It looks like Legosi's starting to rub off on you Y/N. Worrying about my shirt and all..." he said wiping some of the blood from his face

"We're going to do the blood transfer again! Give it your all! I'm going to offer everything to you two! We'll win this together!"

He held his hands out to Legosi and I. Legosi took his hand first and he helped him up. I rolled my eyes before taking his hand

"You guys are adorable with that 'nothing beats the power of friendship' thing you have going on" I said as Louis pulled me up

Louis gave me an unamused glare and it looked like he wanted to stab me with the syringe. I took it from him before he could actually do that

All of that actually happened yesterday. Today, Legosi and I are on our way to kill Melon

I know Legosi doesn't want me to but I've decided that this would be for the greater good

But right now, we were heading to the BAM for the turf war

I was staring up at the moon as the nights breeze brushed through my fur. This feeling was nostalgic but mostly not in a good way. I still liked it

I was humming random songs while Legosi was completely silent. I turned my focus from the moon to him

He didn't even notice that I was staring at him. His gaze was locked straight ahead. He was definitely serious about this. But I tried to lighten up the mood a bit

"Hey, we should make a OnlyFans. I think we'd be pretty popular on there"

He turned to me with a confused look on his face

"Only...fans?"

I guessed that he wouldn't know what it was. I sighed and dug into the hood of my hoodie

"Nevermind...also I got this for you"

I pulled out a small box

I handed it to him and he stopped in his tracks. Seeing him staring at the box made me flustered a tiny bit

"Happy Rexmas..."

"I-I can't take this!!" he said shoving the box into my chest

What I had got him was a pretty expensive watch. The logo on the box must've gave away what it was

I rolled up my sleeve revealing the one I got for myself

"Bling bling bling. Bitches is mad" I said rolling my wrist

That managed to get a laugh out of him but it didn't last long

"I didn't get you anything though..."

The first response that popped up in my head was corny as hell. Luckily, I didn't say it...

"It's fine. You know I'm a simp for you"

A smile reappeared on his face but I could tell he had no idea what a "simp" was. But it was enough to get him to open the box

He pulled the watch out with a worried smile in his face. He examined it's quality as a smug smile spread across my face

It wasn't long before he put it on and hugged me

"Thanks Y/N"

"Aww shucks. It's nothing" I said as a joke

We continued heading for the BAM in silence again. Well, until I started singing songs

"Hey, you, show me that solvable problem" I sung

"We can get through this, I'll do the..." he continued

"Hardest part with you" we sung together

We both continued walking with smiles on our faces. But Legosi started holding my hand. I don't think we've held hands in public like this before

This definitely got me to blush a bit. I couldn't bring myself to turn my head and look at him but I could tell he was blushing too

We made it to the BAM after a short while but our path was blocked by a wall and a officer

"I've...never seen that before"

"Me neither..."

I looked around for another way to get in but the best I could find was a fire escape on one of the buildings nearby

"We can get in from over there"

We went over and climbed up

And once we were on the roof, we had a good view of the BAM. It looked like all the gangs were also on the rooftops as well

The gang that stood out the most to me was the Madaragumi. Seeing those spotted cats fill me with seething rage

Speaking of spots, my attention was eventually drawn to the Shishigumi. I knew Melon was half leopard but he's never really had the spots to show it. But now they're covering half his face. Was it a sudden change? Do all hybrids go through something like that? I hope I don't...

I eventually noticed my own gang and it just looked like they were having fun

"Wish I was there..." I whispered to myself

I looked closer to see that something was off about the gang

There was one more member than there should've been

I couldn't see their faces all that well but I could see Josh and Suge due to them wearing masks. But then I saw a wolf with completely white fur. I knew exactly who it was

"Thats-"

I was cut off by Legosi putting his hand on my shoulder

"You ready?" he asked

He had already lit our torch and even took his shirt off. I rolled up my sleeves and cracked my knuckles

"Yeah. Let's go jump some gang leaders"
