Chapter Text

In this moment it is only them. Here at the bottom of this swimming pool all the sounds are muffled and lost. They do not hear Reigen scolding Shou for running around the pool, or Serizawa learning to swim, or Ritsu practicing his freestyle.

Instead all they hear is the sound of their heartbeat in their ears. Their lungs gently burn with a need for air, but they ignore it as they stare at each other. Their barriers stop the chlorine water touching their eyes, and if the ache in their chests becomes too much, they know they can bring air into the space around them.

But now that's not a problem. All that sits in their minds is how peaceful it is down here. Teru is enamored by how Shigeo's hair floats in the water, loose and messy despite his uniform haircut. Shigeo just watches as Teru's locks drift aimlessly, catching any stray current from the rest of the pool's occupants.

"You're beautiful," Teru says although his words are swallowed by the water.

Mob smiles. "You're even moreso," he answers, hands cupping Teru's cheeks.

Their lips meet in the silence and there is nothing but bliss.

Chapter Text

Yellow is a colour that's bright like the sun. It's warm and welcoming and soothing, something Mob needs on days when the world becomes too much.

Hanazawa is yellow personified, from his bright hair to his cheerful attitude to his warm arms that hold Mob when he doesn't understand what he is feeling.

He is the sun and the light for Mob, and the boy will gladly bask in its warm rays.
