Chapter Text

Tsu's eyes widened at the words that came out of the villain's mouth.
"W-what?" She stuttered, fear and shock evident in her voice.
"You heard me. Either you all die or one of you brats sacrifices yourself for the class," Shigaraki repeated, eyes shining with joy. Tsuyu froze, thinking, before stepping forward, her eyes already clouded with tears. She looked up at Shigaraki and then back at Class 1-A.
"I'll do it," She said, her voice shaky as the tears fell from her eyes.
"Kill me, just..... Please..... Leave my friends alone.... Please don't hurt them..."
Shigaraki smiled menacingly at the girl's words. He laughed, before turning back to the frog girl.
"Well, I didn't expect one of you so called heroes to actually do it... Any last words?" He asked, head tilted at an angle. Tsuyu once again looked around at her classmates, her friends. All their faces held similar expressions. They were shocked, sad, scared and some even looked broken. She heard murmurs of "Tsu, no," and "Please, don't do it," but she ignored them. She had to save her friends. She slowly looked back to Shigaraki before nodding and turning to her friends, her usually blush covered cheeks now wet with tears. She saw her friends shaking their heads at her, trying to stop her, but she had to do this, she couldn't let her friends die... Especially if she could do something about it. She gave the class a small smile as she started talking. "So... I guess this is goodbye... I'll miss you... But always remember that I'll watch over you.... No matter what actually happens after you die.... I-I'd like to thank you all for being my friends as well.... I didn't do anything to deserve friends as amazing as you... And yet... Here we are..." She gave a small chuckle before wiping her eyes and continuing. "I'm so happy that I got to meet you all... You made my life so much better... All of you are the kindest, most brilliant people I've ever met.... And I know you're all going to be the best heroes the world has ever seen... I just won't get to experience it with you... That's why... No matter what happens... You must become heroes and fulfil your dreams... If not for yourselves then for me and all the people you're going to save... Please.... Also.... Remember that I love you all... And even when I'm gone I'll continue to love you... One more thing... Please promise me one more thing.... Please.... Please don't forget me... Just.... Promise you'll remember me..." She turned around to see Shigaraki's hand reaching toward her face. "Goodbye"

Chapter 2: They Hadn't Saved Her.

Summary:

How will Class 1-A deal with Tsu's death?

Notes:

I recently found out that Marceline x Princess Bubblegum is canon(yes despite the fact the episode came out like three years ago) and I am now incredibly happy.

Chapter Text

For once, everything was quiet. Bakugou wasn't yelling, Iida wasn't shouting about the rules, Midoriya wasn't muttering to himself, and even Aizawa wasn't telling them about being logical and being good heroes. But, worst of all, there was no ribbiting from Tsuyu. Not even a single kero. And they'd never hear one from her again. All because she had given her life to save theirs. Because she was braver than they had ever been and ever could be. Why did this have to happen? Why did Tsuyu have to die? All she had ever been was nice and caring. She had never done anything bad in her life. So what had she done to deserve this?

Aizawa could remember the funeral. Seeing her parents there, tears falling down their cheeks. Tsu's siblings too young too understand what was going on, confused as to where their sister had gone. The guilt of not being able to save her weighed him down. Not only was he a pro hero but he was their teacher. It was his job to save them no matter what... And he had failed. He hadn't saved her.

Ochako missed her. She was right there when Shigaraki killed her. She could of pulled her back. But she hadn't. She blamed herself. Her girlfriend was dead and it was all her fault. She hadn't even said goodbye and hadn't built up the courage to go to Tsu's funeral. She couldn't face Tsu's parents when it was her fault that their daughter was dead. It was her fault. Her girlfriend should be alive and happy right now. Maybe cuddling wither Ochako... But she wasn't... She hadn't saved her.

Deku cried. After all, what else could he do? He had missed his chance to help her. He hadn't took her place. He should've known what Tsu would do as soon as he heard the words come out of Shigaraki's mouth. Tsu had always been so selfless, doing everything she could to help others and doing nothing for herself. She hadn't deserved to die. It should've been him. How could he ever be a hero if he couldn't save one of his best friends. He hadn't saved her

Class 1-A mourned for their friend. They thought about her daily. How they could have stopped her death. But they didn't. They hadn't saved her.
